Pretty sure the lifepod anchor is to do with a mod that makes it so the lifepod drops in a random spot, however you do have to configure it in settings which is probably why you got the default location, but you can also have it "broken" where it sinks to the sea floor! Definitely a way to spice up the start of the game, especially since there's a chance for a void drop

I downloaded the garg and bloop and the size mod i went to the void I SAW A GARG BIGGER THEN THE AURORA THAT GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK THE WORST PART WAS BECAUSE IT WASN'T IN THE WATER IT WAS FLYING ACROSS THE FRICKIN MAP
