You always explain things perfectly. I’ve been going to therapy with my son after his brain injury and they keep telling us “repeating things more than once helps you learn and remember easier”
You are so good at explaining and doing it again to make sure we understand! I really appreciate that! I wrote it all down and plan to make a cover! Thank you!
Thanks for this video and for showing us the technique for using the laminator (that was me that asked). I appreciate you taking the time. I’m looking forward to making a journal cover this way. Enjoy your day! ♥️🌞
If someone runs out of ideas, or feels like their creativity stick, all they have to do is go to your channel. Every single video is filled with so much inspiration and fabulous ideas. Thank you so much! Hugs 🤗❤️
Thank you, Hope. I plan (hope) to share a video tonight showing the dimensions and construction of the two one-sheet-wonders I intend to use in this album.
Thank you for this very clear and easy to follow tutorial - much appreciated!! I am REALLY looking forward to your one sheet wonders - I am going to follow along (not with my “good” Tim Holtz” paper 😂😂 but something else to make/keep as prototypes). Thank you for being so willing to share and inspire❤
You are an excellent teacher!!! I may have been confused at first but I understood each item, measurement and process. Thank you for another great video!
Love the way you explain the steps and the different options in preparing. Like the one sheet wonders, I can't wait to try these. Thanks for sharing your ideas...
Thank you. You explain thoroughly and that is helpful. I liked it especially when you wrote the dimensions on each piece as it helps match the visual with the written dimensions in the description box. Thanks too for the laminator advice. Very helpful. I love the idea of putting my one sheet wonder type projects into a journal so this is right up my street. Thanks as always for finding the time to share with us ❤
I truly love this way of assembling a cover. I've almost always done more "traditional" ways of making covers. Think I'm going to play along with this one. I've been collecting goodies and disassembling old books to do an Alice in Wonderland. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
A great base! ALEXANDRA M (another YT designer) uses the same idea for adhering fabric. She uses glue stick on the cover then irons her fabric on. That works too! Looking forward to your next installment. TFS Cori ❤
I've been frustrated a time or two when I use the exact inner and outer measurements. That small slide make a huge difference in creating a smooth finish 😊
Cori, you did a great job of explaining this project. Thank you! I am looking forward to watching and learning how to make this one- sheet- wonder. Blessings
This sounds great!! I use pull out journaling items for the majority of my personal journals. I have essential tremors and it is difficult to write in the journal itself.
Another great and fun project. Question, what is the name of the video after this? I’m assuming they are in order. If you could post the sequence for this project it would be much appreciated. I have looked and looked but couldn’t exactly justify the sequence. Thank you Cori I have been following you for a long time. You are a really good teacher. I wish I had you in school!
The cover you showed in the beginning what Amazon packing did you use. Could you show what you did to create that. I love your projects that you do thanks for sharing them.
I love your work. I do have a question about this piece. Your base piece has 4.75 inch wings but you cut the inside side of the front and back cover pieces at 5 inches. Is there a reason for leaving that quarter inch gap. Note. I'm not talking about the shorter outside side. I fully understand that one
I cut the inner measurement to 5" so it rests in the seam of the spine base. I want that inner section to be flush with the fold. It just makes the journal smoother and it's easier to keep the cover straight. And, thank you 😊
I'm sorry if I'm repeating a questions - but I LOVE your journal cover made from amazon packaging! Was the packaging a box or an envelope? I want to keep my eyeballs open for one!
I know, right? I've purchased many things since then but haven't seen this packaging again. It was an envelope/sleeve thing and I had ordered a pack of paper that came in it. I ordered the same paper again and it came in a different envelope.
Hi Cori! I'm a new subscriber here. I love your videos and your style! 💜 I was wondering if you have a tutorial of piece you put in the front cover at 1:44. Thank you so much and I'm happy to be part of your crafting community! Big hugs from Argentina 💜
Hello and welcome! You live in an incredibly beautiful country ❤️ I will walk through how I put together the cover, but it can be replicated with any collage masterboard and cluster and Tracie label combination. I'm hoping to share a one-sheet-wonder video tonight and I'll include the cover construction walk through.
You always explain things perfectly. I’ve been going to therapy with my son after his brain injury and they keep telling us “repeating things more than once helps you learn and remember easier”
Totally agree. I do that with my students every day. We are definitely working on improving our retention!
I Love your style! It hooks me in! Your choices of papers and vintage look items for your journal signatures are absolutely beautiful!
Thank you very much. What a kind thing to say ❤️
You are so good at explaining and doing it again to make sure we understand! I really appreciate that! I wrote it all down and plan to make a cover! Thank you!
Excellent. I'm glad it was helpful!
Thanks for this video and for showing us the technique for using the laminator (that was me that asked). I appreciate you taking the time. I’m looking forward to making a journal cover this way. Enjoy your day! ♥️🌞
Thank you and I'm glad you saw the technique. It really does make a difference in how well the fronts and backs adhere to each other 😊
First time a project has gotten me very excited to work on. Thank you.
I'm so glad to hear that, and so grateful for you. The heart you sent me melted mine. Thank you ❤️
@@CoriDahmen I hope it helps to know others are thinking of you.
I love this project. I am excited to get started with it. Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me.
My pleasure and I really hope you have fun with it!
Your instructions work for me. Must make one tomorrow so I can follow along with the One Sheet Wonders. Thank you.
The one-sheet-wonders can be stand alone items or incorporated into a journal. So, you're welcome to join either way 😊
Thank you Cori, you are an awesome teacher❤. You sound like my daughter when she is explaining something but then she’s a teacher too 😊
Teacher voice. Very grateful I don't need to talk over a rowdy group of students 😁
Wow! You are a great teacher! You explain everything so well! I' m looking forward to March mass making! I just love your channel !
Thank you very much. Up first for #MassMakeMarch2024 are notepads!
If someone runs out of ideas, or feels like their creativity stick, all they have to do is go to your channel. Every single video is filled with so much inspiration and fabulous ideas. Thank you so much! Hugs 🤗❤️
You are too kind. Thank you ❤️
Your directions were very clear. Thank you!
Thank you for letting me know!
So proud of you. You have got to be the only journaler to use up all your scraps.😮😊
😁 Oh, I have more. Several pans' worth. Just trying diligently not to add to that growing population!
I *LOVE* Your Journal of One Sheet Wonders!!!
I need to make a few more... I have several one-sheet-wonders, just because they are so much fun to make 😊
Thanks for your in depth tutorial Cori. ❤
You are so welcome!
You did a great job explaining the everything!!!
Thank you 😊
This would be so cool to have and I may give it a try. You are such an amazing teacher! Thank you Cori!!! ♥
Excellent and thank you. I hope you do give it a go!
Wow Cori that was very good instructions. May try. Thanks!!! Look forward to your 12 by 12 wonders.
Thank you, Hope. I plan (hope) to share a video tonight showing the dimensions and construction of the two one-sheet-wonders I intend to use in this album.
😍❤️ Your directions were very clear. I made a prototype off your directions and everything fit worked together perfectly. 😁
That is great to hear. Thank you for letting me know they are understandable!
Great tutorial Cori, I've made it along with you and I'm now looking forward to your next video.😍
Thank you Gaye and hopefully the next one, featuring some one-sheet-wonders to include, will go up this evening.
Thank you, Cori, for demonstrating all of your projects so clearly for us to see and hear and to scribe if desired. Another great video! 😀💞
Thank you, Keryn. You are always entirely too kind ❤️
Thank you so much. You are a good teacher❤
It's my pleasure and thank you!

I'm hoping to share a video tonight showing two of the one-sheet-wonders I'll use in this journal. I've had to remake them as it has been awhile 😊
You are an excellent teacher!!! I may have been confused at first but I understood each item, measurement and process. Thank you for another great video!
So glad it was helpful. Thank you!
Appreciate you always giving options, I would say most of us just do it the way you demonstrate. So less talking for you lol
Talkity-talk. Sheesh, I've got to get that under control 😁
Love the way you explain the steps and the different options in preparing. Like the one sheet wonders, I can't wait to try these. Thanks for sharing your ideas...
Thank you and happy creating!

I'm always questioning if it was too much or not enough, so I appreciate the feedback. Thank you!

I always find it interesting to try new ways to create similar things. Some I like better than others, for sure 😊
So well explained Cori! Hope to make mine tomorrow. Thanks!
Great to hear. Thank you!
Hello Cori, you are a great teacher, its a gift!! Take care ✂️♥️✂️
Thank you ❤️

I tell you, it usually works pretty darn well! Thank you 😊
Great video Cori! Can't wait for mass make March!🥰
Thank you. Up first? Notepads 😊
You are great 👏👏👏 I love this way of binding 😍 and the golden book🤩🤩🤩🤩👏👏 hobbie😂 thank you for sharing 👏👏🙏 lots of love from arctic Norway 👏🥳🥰❤️🙏💐🤩
Thank you and it is definitely one of my personal favorites. I love having options 😊
You do such a great job explaining this!! I saved it. Thank you for being our JJ teacher!!!❤
You are too kind. Thank YOU!
Wonderfully explained. You always are a great instructor. Can't wait for the remaining videos!
Thank you and the next one-sheet-wonder is up now 😊
Another great project and video, thank you! 😘
Always my pleasure and you're very welcome. Thank you 😊
Thank you for the detail! The inner spin smaller dimensions are a new trick ! Thanks
I've been frustrated a time or two when I use the exact inner and outer measurements. That small slide make a huge difference in creating a smooth finish 😊
Cori, you did a great job of explaining this project. Thank you! I am looking forward to watching and learning how to make this one- sheet- wonder. Blessings
I'm hoping to have time this evening to share the two I intend to include in this journal. Thank you!
Thanks, Cori! This will make it so much easier on me, and I love the tuck on the cover! Great teaching! Take care❣️
Excellent and I agree. That little tuck space is a happy thing. I think I'll put the letter from the bookmaker in there 😊
That would be an amazing find for anyone 😊
Thank you, thank you for the 1-page wonders!!!!! Hugs❤
Two of them (the ones I intend to use in this journal) coming soon... hopefully this evening. And, you're very welcome 😊
I so enjoyed following along. This is an awesome project. TFS🌴❤️
Thank you for joining the fun 😊
This sounds great!! I use pull out journaling items for the majority of my personal journals. I have essential tremors and it is difficult to write in the journal itself.
I love the option of showing the journaling front and center, or tucking it away and keeping it a bit more private. Guess I just prefer options 😊

Hmmm. That was the only piece of that type of packaging that I had. But, if I get more I'll definitely share how I constructed it. Thank you!
