I never would have guessed that anybody thought the kid knew that he was in a series and he was talking about the beginning of it. First of all, the kid said this 40 years ago BEFORE the first episode. The beginning was around the time that the kids were sacrificed, which must have been hundreds of years ago. Why would the kid be talking about the beginning of the series? Is he Deadpool now and can break the 4th wall?
Martin is from the 1800s according to his military tattoo which was changed by the marine corps in 1868 or something like that. Martin is Abby if she didn’t lose her mind because everything there is repeating in cycles like the cicadas that’s the symbolism of them at the moment. Everyone you’ve seen gets reborn and brought back they may look a little different but they’re suppose to have the same part in the story.
@@dallasdandy6276 they didn't give you no closure. Judy never threw that rope Judy was watching her house fall apart and she was helping Elgin with a seizure. When boyd was in that hole Tabitha in Victor was the only ones in that tunnel with him at that time
@chantikawinfrey7707 No disrespect but I think you are not progressing with the show. The show is implying that time can be warped. So Julie seeing the house collapse is a different time altogether. But Martin used her to throw the rope to Boyd in this time warp she got into. Which explains why Boyd got the rope because everyone was asking how the man in chains could have got the rope to Boyd. If you haven't watched Star Trek or Stargate Atlantis or Fringe or the movie Interstellar then this time warp concept might be a little bit confusing to you. Jade also pointed it out to Boyd how he believes the town has time warp portals. The trees seem to be one source of time portal, the light house and now the ruins.
If you remember in season one when they were banging on the door trying to get into colony house one of the monsters says “Julie dont you remember me” idk what that means, just a thought
I thought that part was obvious, how Martin knows Julie, why he doesn't know Boyd, and how he knows about Abby killing all those people, thinking that it was just a dream that she needed to wake them up from. Martin used to live in the Town more than 40 years ago. He went through a faraway tree and got stuck in the dungeon for a moment. And he got displaced in time and must have been in the town the day that Abby was shooting people. He might have also been even further in his future and met Julie. Either way, while in the dungeon, someone caught him and chained him to the wall where he remained at least 40 years. It's also possible that Julie from a very short time in the future, only some days or weeks, has cone through a 2nd time and met Martin for the 1st time. So when she came through the 1st time, he recognized her immediately. It was his 2nd time meeting her and her 1st time meehing him either way.
Martin can't be from the future for a couple reasons, mostly because of his specific Marinecorps tattoo and Martin not knowing what a modern firearm looks like.
it means if MARTIN is human, then he came to the town AFTER boyd dies so he met Julie maybe years after... (for example season 6 lol when he shows up and Docosta is the sherif)

@BrookeKnits okay but bro said eons haha. I appreciate your comment though. I'm just saying it had to be relatively recently
Idk he didn't really seem to know what a fire arm was that Boyd had and with the Worms inside him he may have not been able to die.
This might have been the worst explanation of who threw the rope. This means they can explain every mystery with some BS Deus ex machina.
That's the Pandora box they just opened nothing off limits now and since Julie seemed to be able to navigate different time lines that likely means things can be retconned.
Bro come on this is clearly the leaks from Reddit. If you’re gonna come up with a “hypothesis” at least say this may spoil it for others!
Lmfao your joking right? This happened in episode 8. Did you not watch the episode lmao hence your the only one to comment something like this.
@ the next episode reveals that she’s a “story teller” or some shit and can affect time just like your saying Lol no way you explain exactly what she is by just 1 episode of seeing her affect time. Btw I got this spoiler from another UA-camr but he had the decency of saying he saw the spoilers and won’t spoil anything else from the rest of the season
I haven't read the spoilers I just watched the episode and it was very clear the dungeon was a pocket dimension in time. Literally watch the episode. And please don't spoil anything because I genuinely haven't read the spoilers and neither have many others.
This story is trash
