Welcome to our channel, Thanks for watching! We're a small sawmill and wood products business in Eastern Pennsylvania. Join me for videos on all things wood from the forest to the final product. We'll cover a wide range of topics about lumber and woodworking, machinery and heavy equipment, and even our family's Christmas tree farm.

Really enjoy watching your videos. I like seeing the journey of you going from acquiring your logs to a finished product. Thank you taking the time to bring us along with you.
Thanks for watching!
Nice logs
Thanks, finally sent you the kiln pics btw.
Nice video Cory , would have been great if you could have given a bf price you paid, I.have chance to do what you did, not sure what to pay and want to be fair to my neighbor..
Sorry I don’t like to talk money on here, I feel it just opens a can of worms that we don’t need to get into. Also it’s very different from one place to another, log supply, competition, etc. ultimately like everything else the right price is what you and the seller agree on.
@@hillcustomlumber I figured that , I don't have a kiln .So that has to be figuired in also, thanks anyway
Interesting you don't seal the sap wood. I guess the goal is to remove it anyway. I feel the same way about live edge, although we cut some, we don't find it interesting.
I actually do seal the whole end. I know on camera it looked funny because of the water coming out of the sapwood but it was all coated.
Silly question but the anchor seal I get is white and I’m a hobby woodworker just milling small stuff on a bandsaw. Do you tint yours so it obvious where you’ve applied it?
I buy it by the 5 gallon bucket and have the choice of red, blue, green, or clear(white). Im partial to red so that’s what I use! No science behind it!
I tried spraying Anchor seeal (original)through a hand sprayer but it was too thick. Do you thin it with something?
Nope, been there done that, it doesn’t work. You need a backpack. Without getting technical the pumps work differently. The backpack can handle thicker liquids.
