Great video ❤
Thanks
Pine is always fine .
Agreed
I can imagine it smells awesome too.
Yeah but you kind of go nose blind after awhile.
Good morning Corey. Thanks for another great video. Did you happen to get any footage of the log turner incident? Also would be interested to see the fix. Have a great day.
No unfortunately I did not I’m not quite sure what happened, I saw it after the fact. It’s still unfixed 5000bf later.
Whatcha using for blade lube. I use water and pinesol or dawn. Pretty heavy flow rate still blades get pitchey.
Water, sometimes a little diesel mixed in if necessary.
Do you put this knotty pine into the kiln? If yes, what effect does that have on all the knots? Good video!
Yes it will all be kiln dried. Sometimes you’ll find knots that loosen up in drying(I call them round knots, hard to describe in text), they typically stay in place in roughsawn lumber but if you plane them they will blowout, leaving a hole.
Just curious, what does a truckload of white pine sell for?
I didn’t buy this stuff, it was a trade deal. I honestly don’t know the current log price, I typically don’t buy pine logs. Green Pine lumber is $1.00/bf around here.
@@hillcustomlumber thanks, we don’t buy logs either so was just wondering.
