I use Toyota 10W 30 engine oil. The 10W tells us the viscosity at start when the engine is cold. In some countries the weather gets really cold so it is necessary to use a lower W number like 5W or 0W. In a warn climate the viscosity of 10W is good.
We also need to remember that the other number 10W 30, the 30 tells the thickness of the oil at normal operating temperature- when the engine is properly warmed up.

Engine knocks can be challenging to identify but it's always necessary to isolate the external moving parts on the engine such as the alternator, pulley assembly etc.
You would need to remove the belt and start the engine then listen for the sound. Remember that the engine can only run for a very short time during this test. The belt runs alternator and water pump.
1. If sound is present during this test then you have internal engine knocks- connecting rods bearings may be worn. 2. If sound stops then it's the external moving parts are at fault.

I suggest using as a preventative measure on my 107, additive for catalyctic converter cleanig. Would you recommend it? Would it lower the vibration?
