What an interesting whisky, Something that makes you think. My type of whisky. Which one is your favourite Kilkerran. Please remember to like share and subscribe. Ticking towards 2000 subs ❤
Good review! I enjoy this Kilkerran and the 16. Both were lovely although I prefer a bourbon only cask right now. Have backups! I have spent a lot of time exploring Kilkerran and I always learn a lot. This is a wonderful and enormously complex scotch and that's what I'm interested in. Love the Kilkerran expressions. Check out the 12! Cheers!
Thanks for the video. Enjoy your opinions on this whiskey. I have just recently tried it and absolutely loved it. It’s my first of this series had it at a tasting and was able to purchase two bottles after $97 Canadian each very lucky.
Great review! I have two of these bottles in my stash currently.. still working my way down last years batch bottle which I also like very much! feeling good myself I bought two of these to enjoy! 😸
I have had no luck twice in getting a bottle, both times sold out in minutes. Glad to see your review and hear your thoughts. It sounds like worth trying or even getting a bottle of if you can.
@@WhiskyLoversSociety It’s a superb dram isn’t it- I remember you reviewed the Kilkerran Port cask - how did you find the Sherry cask compared to this?
The cheap prices here in the US are US$170. Most are at more like $199. For 8 year old? Not happening no matter how good. In the UK that has an MSRP at £58.00.
Agree. I would not pay that price. But then again if I want to buy some good bourbon then the prices here is also stupid high. We will never find a great deal. Have you tried it? Would it be on your bar if it was £60? Always nice to hear from you. Hope you have a great week
@@WhiskyLoversSociety I have a sample of an older release, not this one. It was nice but not spectacular. It would be a buy at the £60/US$75 level. That's more than most 10 yr and even more than most premium bottles. But still good and worth a bit more. But two and a half times MSRP just isn't happening.

@@Rohit_M I think it is worth at the right price.
This is one review I was waiting for! Great review as always. I notice the Springbank 10 has disappeared from the shelves in the back....good job!
Thanks Not empty. But was working on it the previous night. Making sure that it is still ok. And it was

@@uiski7956 I do like this one a bit more.
I have both the sherry and the port ones and both are fantastic! For me the port one is a little better, but both great.
@@javierbaroja8928 strangely I like the sherry more. But yes they are very good. Thanks for watching. Appreciate the feedback
This one's not very common here in the US. Appreciate hearing about it! Cheers.
@@whiskywhereabouts not easy to find it here in Belgium. Thanks for watching

$100 in Wisconsin
Cask strength though? There is the peated that's $100 but 92 proof.
@@jasoncraig2281 mmm. Still a bit too high in my opinion. But it did travel far to get there. 😂
