I preferred the Sherry Cask as well. I have not had their PX release though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Let see this one is your cup of tea? Most of ppl say this year KK8 sherry is bit disappointed...🤷♂️...👍😁🥂🙋🏻♂️
as I am not a big fan of peated whiskys - I am not the "norm" here on Whiskytube
@@WhiskyJason1 🤷♂️ with peat and sherry is like with girls, some like blonds some dark hair...i like...both 😅👍😁🥂🙋🏻♂️
I have the first batch and it's good but not great IMO
I totally like this bottle i think its amazing.. considering to buy second bottle if no one else wants them 😅
go for it - ENJOY!
About the price difference on the sherry and bourbon matured, it's only due to the overhype crazyness that drove the whisky community (drinkers and collectors) crazy few years ago. The recharred version 57.1abv. Before that you could get kilkerran relatively easily and pricing was more than fair. But after all that buzz and hype, I think the whole whisky buyers, drinkers, flippers... put the kilkerran sherry no matter the batch in a certain "I need to get it" position. Increase of demand drives prices up. Cheers
makes sense
Interesting as always. What reviews this year have you done that is A / B+ whiskies`? :)
Bunna 12 Cask Strength
Have you tried same kilkerran but port cask matured?
nope - not yet
@@WhiskyJason1 It is grate!. I think a little better than the sherry one. But both are great
