Over the years some have knocked Neil's voice..I have always disagreed. No one I can recall has the same plaintive and emotionally impactful voice. You can literally feel the pain coming from him..Legends become such because they change us somehow....those goosebumps you feel when you hear this are that legacy.
I've had the pleasure to see Neil play live 13 times. Every concert was beautiful. Never a bad performance. Maybe I'm a bit bias but that's ok. Neil is my favorite Canadian artist.
70's and 80's ruled!💋 I'm from Bethalto Illinois just across the mighty Mississippi river from St. Louis was 18 years old watching this filled with hope and promise. Wanting to escape to a better place and future. What happened time slipped away 35 years later living California wondering what happened to the world!? 🤯2020/2021 crazy! Helpless
Was easy for u North Americans,i lived in Communist country ex-YU,77'had 11 yrs old when i heard song and learn lyrics&play on guitar this fabulous,Epic song! Peace 😊👍
I was 14 years old from NY, we went and at the time my uncle said to me "this is your woodstock". A memory I will always cherish. That day everybody was one, it didn't matter which genre you followed. Simpler and crazier times back then. Would much rather be back in 85 then here now.
Good old Niel, real heart of gold out of Winterpeg:) You've been rocking the free world since the 60's, keep on rocking ... in these COVID days, the world needs U, our buddies south off the border need your songs, the southern man needs you, Alabama with its wheel in the ditch as crying out 4 help! ROCK ON from St-John to Nanaimo:)))
Carajos hay que pararse frente a esa multitud con solo una guitarra, una armónica y tu humanidad...y encima realizar una actuación épica e inolvidable...
Twas a Magnificent time when all the rockers came together for the two concerts in two countries. I remember Phil Collin’s flying the Concord from England to America to do both concerts!! So So Cool Could it ever happen again?? Nope But what a Moment Frozen in Time
Moby brought me here. I'd never heard of this track and then Moby did a version on his Resound NYC opus, and I loved the song so had to look out the original. Neil Young.....WOW!!!!!
Another great emotional song by Neil Young. This song expresses the pain of loss perfectly. What a great artist.

Oh well that's your problem then.
One of the best songs ever... Go listen to Deja Vu today... You all deserve it. Peace and Love.
I’m 36 and can say I’ve seen Neil live. What an amazing experience! There is no one quite like him.
Good on you. I'm here after having a moment of realizing I should try to see KD Lang live.

the GLORIOUS absence of the audience holding up a sea of devices ......oh no wonder this was 1985.
I grew up on this amazing song in high school in the early 70's in St. Louis. I'm 63yo now. lol It has aged well. Much better than myself! ;)

The crowd is so 80's and Neil is so Neil. Rockin' sideburns in '85 when everyone else is into big hair.
Neil is timeless

ふら〜と出て来て、凄い歌を歌って超ウケて、それを気にしないでさっさと帰る彼が、アメリカ側では一番カッコイイ人でした。
