Tbh, Obi-Wan’s voice is basically the same in both. James Arnold Taylor did such a great job emulating Ewan.
From what I read, the only reason Ewan, Sam L. Jackson, Ian Mcdiarmid and a najority of the other Prequel actors didn't return for Clone Wars was because they heard the backup actors and said "What do you need us for?"
The only exception to this rule was Hayden, who really wanted to make up for his often-maligned performance in the Prequels, but Dave Filoni instead chose Matt Lanter.

I think the series does use a different voice filter than the films though for him.
Matt Wood plays ALL the Droids AND Grevious he's amazingly talented and deserves more recognition.

i hope dave filoni hears us all and recreates revenge of the sith with clone wars animation.
Unfortunately that is a lot of money and resources to commit to something that won't see a return on investment. Yes, people like you and me would watch, but the casual fans would see it's just the movie and probably wouldn't watch.

Imagine if Dave Filoni listens but puts ROTS and the last 4 episodes of the clone wars together into one long film or a short series all in clone wars animation with maybe some actors reprising roles and others keeping the clone wars voices, maybe extending some scenes with the supervision of Lucas’ and Filonis visions, I would pay a lot of money to see that

But James Arnold Taylor is the only one I’ve heard pull off both Ewan MacGregor and Sir Alec Guinness’ Obi-Wans flawlessly.

In clone wars season 7, did they re-record the voice lines for the “power! Unlimited power!” scene? I could tell they redid anakins “hI ya have I done?” But everything else sounded the same as the movie.
They took the audio from rots except for “what have I done” 👌

@@ztails3276 Just Revenge of the Sith, because it intersected within Clone Wars itself and feels jarring going from live-action to animation and back.
I hope if they made it, they include mentions of Ahsoka, as she was a massive reason (apart from Padme) that Anakin fell to the dark side. When she lost trust in and left the order, so did he. Anakin even understood why she wanted to leave, despite how hurt and sad he felt by her doing so.
I get that it could destroy or dishonour Lucas' work, but I think it mainly would make it better. Think of it, one of the best Star Wars movies in the animation style of one of the best Star Wars shows. Equals nothing short of AMAZING! It would respect Lucas' work even more, actually!

Or even better, a Clone Wars style series that bridges the gaps between episodes 4-6, and having a few episodes in the middle that take place during ep. 5 from other character's perspectives.

Tomás Gabriel Carrizo I feel that Matt Taylors Anakin, and Haydens are kinda different characters all together. That being said I prefer Taylors, but I still really like Hayden Christianson’s portrayal of him!
@@brooksbrigmon2533 Hayden's simply much more true to the emotionally vulnerable character. Matt's Anakin would just force choke and beat up Palpatine until Palpatine told him exactly how to save Padme the second Palpatine told him he could, Hayden's Anakin doesn't strike me as the type to do that though, and more likely to do what Anakin actually did in ROTS.

Matt's voice sounds way better in terms of darkness and capturing Anakin as a character. Haydens voice is just way too high but I love him as the character. Both are awesome.
Nah, it's actually about how he delivered it in context. Hayden said "I was about to say that" softly while Matt said it out loud

It's the same actors and actress to be honest with my son and his older sister where at one of the voice-recordings but they saw Matt and Ashley voices of Anakin and Ahoska they asked them both what's the differance of the voices from the films and the Clone-Wars then Ashley said: There isn't really a differance.
