I just realized all three characters; ahsoka, anakin, and obi wan, fought each prequel villain; anakin fought dooku, obi wan fought grievous, and ahsoka fought maul. That is truly epic.
Who fought Sebulba
Jay A the chosen one Ben quadrinaros. Contrary to popular belief anakin is not the chosen one though the chosen one was still on Tatooine. The reason anakins blood contained so many midichlorians is because anakin is actually the long lost son of Ben quadrinaros
Like a Bossk 627 sounds good and all but it’s canon that Anakin was actually created by palpatine through the force which makes a lot more sense

The final season adds an entire new layer of tension throughout revenge of the sith
Anakin had been growing steadily disillusioned with the Council for a while. The mishandling of the war, lying to him about Obi-Wan, throwing Ashoka under the bus etc. Then he was denied a promotion he believed he was entitled to and asked to spy on a man he trusted and looked up to, a man who he thought could help him save his wife. Mace and the Jedi, who are supposed to be the guardians of the Republic, trying to straight out kill Palpatine, the Head of State, was just the last straw.
It's safe to say that *_The Clone Wars_* season 7 is to *_Revenge of the Sith_* what *_Rogue One_* is to *_A New Hope_* - enhancing movies that we already knew had high stakes, but have now been elevated significantly.

So then the dad says "It's not just me asking you, President is asking you!" And then a limo shows up and President tells the daughter that America can't afford for her to dad that guy. Even Kenobi realizes Council is not always right, then why did he listen to them and not to anakin or ahsoka
Because Obi-wan, like the council, can already sensed the dark side surrounding Palpatine which tells them that either Darth Sidious is controlling Palpatine or they're both the same person.
They need Anakin to confirm one of the 2 possible theories.
@@loudboy317 Really true

Even though I had seen the prequels (particularly ROTS) numerous times before TCW, hearing Obi-Wan tell Ahsoka that Count Dooku had been killed by Anakin gives me goosebumps every time. And it's not like it happened over night theres like 1 or 2 times in clone wars where Anakin got really really close to killing him. Especially near the end of clone wars where they fought and you can see Dooku gets a little scared due to Anakin kicking his ass and about to overpower him but was able to slick by.

Also Anakin: says it’s not the Jedi way to kill to mace
He also says it to Palpatine but he gets egged on by him
@@zakabouelfaioud7653 "gets egged on" was probably in the script too 😂
That’s the point. He told Palpatine that it’s not the Jedi way to kill Dooku (an unarmed person, who had surrendered at that point) and he also told Windu the same thing when Windu was going to kill Palpatine. What’s even funnier is that Palpatine said that Dooku was too dangerous to be kept alive, and Mace said that same thing to Anakin in regards to Palpatine. Anakin realized there was little to no difference between the Jedi and the Sikh. But in both scenarios, it’s Anakin who is sticking to the code. He didn’t want to kill Dooku, and he tries to stop Windu from killing Palpatine.
@@AlexTheOilersFan True, but Anakin didn't really make the right distinction, because Mace Windu _was_ breaking the Jedi code by trying to kill an unarmed prisoner. There is a difference between the Jedi and Sith but because Windu was breaking the Jedi code, it reinforced to Ankai that there was no difference.
If Mace had legitimately followed the Jedi code like he was _supposed to_ there is a good change Anakin would not have turned. But even then, you can make the argument that Mace needed to kill Palpatine. Palpatine wasn't exactly unarmed, he had 1000 volts of Force lighting ready in each hand and was faking how weak he was. He was still, for all intent and purposes, a threat.
So I don't know, it's a tough situation. But the main point is that based on the circumstances (be it Palpatine really being armed or Mace just breaking the code) the end result of Anakin believing there was no difference between Jedi and Sith. He was wrong, but that's exactly what Palpatine wanted him to believe.
This was very nicely done. I particularly liked the SW wipe effect you recreated to move from CW to ROTS. I'm glad they linked these things up, but I wish they were sometimes a bit more explicit with the connections. Like Clone Wars is the type of show that can stand on it's own, you can watch and understand it without seeing the movies and the creators designed it this way.
So when you hear about major characters like Dooku (who is the main villain in this show) just dying off-screen it done't feel right. That's that a culmination of the Anakin and Dooku's arc in this show, every fight they ever had led to it and I think they should show this in someway instead of just talking about it. Like what if at the beginning of each episode, they did a cold open where they animated a scene from Revenge of the Sith to give you context of what's happening during Episode III? They could have shown Anakin vs Dooku in the Clone Wars style with the Clone Wars voice cast, it would've been awesome fan service and let the Clone Wars story stand on it's own.
And yeah, I know most people have seen Episode III already and if you're a Clone Wars fan who wants to know hat happened, you can just watch the movie, but I still think showing these big moments in the Clone Wars was important. It was necessary to let the show stand on it's own and would only elevate the quality of the fanatic series that is the Clone Wars!
I absolutely agree
I can't imagine watching Clone Wars without seeing ROTS but I agree, that would've been incredible
Thing is, then you'd have to do something about Grevious' end by that logic...and Padme's...and all the other characters whose stories end off-screen in Clone Wars, so basically that'd mean animating half of ROTS...
but hey, I wouldn't complain about an animated Clone Wars ROTS!
Bad take. It’s way better this way. You really feel the impending doom of ROTS coming this way. Your own fault for not watching Star Wars before this show.
@@user-ef3nr1cn4rI agree. It ironically lessons the show standing on its own to just pointless fan service.

Well done on this, a great edit Indeed.
Let’s take a moment here and realize that Obi-Wan freaking acknowledges that the Jedi aren’t always right and he was willing to look to outside help.
I admire how they linked Episode 2 and 3 with actions like these. The prequel saga is put in a new light by the information that was put into Clone Wars.
This stuff is very interesting to see, edited together like this.
That was well put together. Combining Episode III with the final season of Clone Wars. Now it makes more sense.
Its so weird how the series and the movie feel so different from each other. Like the series is so much more emotionally charged than the movies (in my opinion) and even though I’m not a huge fan of the prequel movies, I felt real chills when Obi-Wan said Anakin killed Dooku even though it happened “off screen.”
well its also because we know most of these characters were going to die it's just we seen them as Saturday morning bad guy that we forget they are fated to die
when Dooku was killed, I believe its the same time as when Maul sensed and says "oh the moment. might be upon us. "
Wow it’s amazing 😉 you did great job 👏
