Oh, I just saw this, I'm currently playing a dot NB bow at the moment. Exactly with entropy, Venom Arrow however (You get that mayor brutality and sorcery after casting from this alone alongside interrupt / off-balance AND stun all in one to ranged no need for meleeing) BUT with Debilitate and Focused Aim as my spammable for the sundered effect alone, minor breach and 100 wd/sp ? sign me up. I tried with Lethal arrow instead but the cost doesn't justify the mini poison status it leaves, and Focused aim provides cost reduction, minor breach/dm with Sundered effect on a constant spammable. Second bar, Shadow disguise for my "BYE" skill slotted, mayor prophecy and savagery / Relentless focus (just for damage... never touch it) Siphoning attacks for sustain magika/stam restoration every 1 second is very strong. And my hommie, my reliable and only, my buddy and powerful Healing Ward morph as my only clutch shield + heal over time that allows me to escape with disguise out of sticky situations, the shield is much more heavier the more damaged you are so it's best to limit test with it, as long as the shield remains you'll heal by a % of the shield per tick back, allowing you for free siphoning into magika/stam, thus more wards or disguise, I don't really know if using the healing ward then going invisible keeps dots from revealing me I haven't checked that, but seems like it's the case. Yes, second skillsets your trusty healing staff just to come back into the fight (or escape it) much, much faster and restoring resources much better with passives. You can ultimately heavy attack with the staff in pve? to restore a good chunk of magika, heal yourself and have a free siphon to even further add to your magika/stam restoration. You'll wound yourself so much with siphon a single ward will shield you up good and restore all of that in seconds, thus the sync combo. Then you got 2 extra empty spells to put in your second bar, put whatever mainly passive stuff that'll just boost you. Minor expedition with Concealed Weapon if you wanna speed up a bit more or psijic order stuff. Have fun! the gameplay is very braindead, drop your dots, spam Focused aim, repeat If in a pickle, turn around press healing ward and disguise then gtfo of there. If out of resources press siphon and manage it with the ward into infinite disguises. (This is perfect if you're into campaigns as a capturing rat, I love it capture every single little mine, lumbermill you see with little scuffing)
Very interesting build i like off meta fun builds. Ive dropped markyn so what monster set would you pair with it? Ive tried Anthilmirs construct and trying kjalnars out now seems pretty good if you weave light attacks into the combo
@@coaze haven’t played in awhile but the only thing that was remotely decent was the robot but i just didn’t like the rng element to it. maybe there’s a new monster set that’s better but idk i looked at everything else
Hey nice build, if you switch the enthropy morph you can replace your power extraction with anything like siphoning strike that would help out your build a lot
hey man! This is a really valid suggestion, I think it would definitely work but there are pros and cons to both. With siphoning and degeneration, the buff uptime would be better as well as the resource sustain. The downsides would be that we lose our two ways to deal with NB cloak. Additionally power extraction gives us minor courage I’m pretty in love with power extraction as a skill in general because having an undodgeable aoe gives a way ability to punish dodge rolls. It ends up being a finishing move in a lot of cases which sounds odd but it really does work. I’ll have to try out siphoning on this build sometime and check the cmx to see how much it actually would be healing though! Thanks for the suggestion.
love the in-n-out playstyle, I've been looking for ideas like this for my NB... do you find that the vate staff is really necessary? Seems like with cloak/distance breaking it so often, it could also be nice to run a defensive 2pc or even a full set back bar
Nice build mate! You mentioned that you weren’t all that convinced with the gate ice staff back bar, what about going another bow? You could use the masters bow and move your poison arrow skill to the back bar and put the nightblade’s mark target onto the front bar? It’ll give some extra damage and a bit of extra crit on the front bar at the cost of another magicka ability. Or maybe try blackrose bow for an additional dot? Either way, great build!
I love this idea! And yea as far as the vateshran backbar goes it’s basically just a product of elemental susceptibility being so broken. If they ever nerf that skill I would definitely drop it for either the BRP staff or maybe another bow like you said :)
Zeimo, have you considered running Way of Fire alongside sheer venom? Way of Fire procs every 2 seconds as long as the dot from poison injection is on an enemy. If youre trying to widdle one person down that can be huge damage.

Man i miss Sheer Venom so much! Tried to make it work recently and couldnt! Draugnkin is probably the set ive spent the loooongest farming too so i may have to try this! Does it work well in cyrodiil? Great work man!
It does work in cyrodill, but it is a lot more situational. It’s hard to do 1vX as much because of the time it takes to setup your dots on someone, VS just one shotting them with balorghs Dw or pulse.
@@M17ch619 lol gotcha. yeah this build will be just fine for cyro if your not Xng. it also helps that you can power extract on npcs to keep up your buffs while not risking melee range. you can still gank squishy with incap bow as well, i’ve hit some 20k bows in this setup.

I wonder how well Sheer venom and Oblivion's Foe would work together. Two sets that proc an extra dot with use of an ability. Could replace entropy with consuming trap, Its a about the same damage and it procs another dot that does 10k-12k damage over 10 seconds.
I’ve tested oblivions foe, not with sheer venom though. Its main niche is that you can dot multiple people at once with it. I tried it with the BRP inferno staff as an AOE dot setup. it did a lot of damage but didn’t have enough execute power. for my build, entropy is just too good because of the heals and the way it takes NBs out of cloak.

way of fire + sheer venom is good. its actually better if you are 1v1. but draugrkin will apply to everyone so if you are fighting in a group you can dot 2-4 people up and they will all be taking that boosted damage. overall its more consistent damage in a BG
Have you tried Perfected Virulent Shot as a fun group backbar option? That damage seems pretty heavy. Also, any chance that you've played around with the Perfected Snipe in melee range? :)
I haven’t tried that, if I had it I would give it a go though! I know someone who uses the vat snipe bow and he combos it with dawnbreaker. it hits pretty hard

The other variation of this build that I liked was balorghs + rallying cry. I swapped entropy for killers blade on that. and actually have been considering snake in the stars! Been working on a groups bg build with it.
incorrect. draugrkin adds 330 to ALL damage. Even on dots, 330 on top a 1k tick is +33% of the damage. Vs 15% from deadly on a 1k tick is 150. Dots would need to be hitting for over 3k for deadly to be doing more damage. This does not happen in pvp. Also, draugrkin boosts damage from status moves that we apply from ele sus. (burning, chilled, concussed, brittle) The only builds deadly is good on is for arcanist or templar because of beam/jabs. nothing else uses it in pvp.
Great build video man, thanks for posting! Question: If this is a draugrkin dpt build why wouldnt you run malacaths? Malacaths boosts the 330 damage draugrkin gives your damage by an additional 16%. In my honest opinion malacaths is a package deal with Druagrkin 👀
malacaths reducing crit damage by 50% is a huge loss in damage. We have about 40% crit chance with the minor savagery proc + the extra 1400 crit chance from vinedusk, and we hit 120% crit damage buffed, which leads to merciless crits between 10-20k damage. Not to mention guaranteed crit after cloak! Malacath would be a net loss in damage overall. It’s only really good on builds with no crit damage / crit chance, and even then I think there’s better mythics these days.

I think it's under rated right now. Especially since almost every solo build is wretched/rallying cry and every small group has rallying cry. But alas. For sexy spec bow crits malacaths doesn't make much sense, I'll give you that, especially since you have been testing this for months! So malacaths had already been nerfed by the time I farmed it. But back before plaguebreak could crit I ran a DoT DK with plaguebreak and malacaths and it would tear through people. Here are my thoughts on where malacaths is a good option, currently ; for DoT builds and status effect builds. I have a Draugrkin/vateshran Inferno staff magcro build that uses malacaths. Also for modifying any sort of damage that does not scale off of weapon and spell damage. So if you wanted to use hrothgar chill as your main burst set, malacaths would be the only mythic to increase the damage. Similarly bash damage scales with resistences. I have a bash arcanist build using hrothgar, BRP duel wield and malacaths and it's very very competitive. I have footage of both my magcro and bash arcanist dominating solo bgs and against top players on my server in 4v4 group queue bgs. I can send you links if you would like to watch
I’ve tested many bow setups. On paper swamp raider looks strong but it isn’t. Only applies to certain abilities which isn’t enough to bring the damage. Need sets that buff the upfront damage AND the dots. The overpowered dot damage leads to the kills.
Swamp raider is really only seen on pure snipe spam builds, which aren’t as effective in high elo BGs. It was one of the first builds I ever tried! Was great to learn the game with.
Is there a reason not to wear 5 pcs in 1 set of armor and 5 pcs of accessories and weapons in 1 set like in pve build? When I watch your video The parts wearing sheer venom consist of armor, shoulders, necklace, ring, and legs. If it were PVE, you would have worn 5 parts of armor: armor, belt, legs, gloves, and shoes.

@@yordlesynergy use what I show in video. Sheer venom = medium draugrkin = light medium gives more armor than light so you want medium on chest, legs, shoulder. ( sheer venom ) draugrkin frontbar so it must be Draugrkin weapon. Otherwise your healing will suffer.
new moon/orders wrath/ shattered fate resulted in higher burst for sure but the way the build functions consistently is bringing the insane pressure that draugrkin gives. my vat staff, elesus, poisons, and 3 dots are often ticking at the same time. add 330 base damage onto every instance of damage and it’s roughly an extra 1500-2500 damage per tick I have a friend that runs sheer venom with stygian as more of a gank style and it works for him quite well. he backbars the vat 2h maul and uses rally

Yeah its really good but the problem is you cant control who it procs on so its less useful outside of a 1v1

don’t run draugrking without sheer venom
plus if your are draugrkin on oakensoul u get the -10% healing permanently.

Why not use war maiden or swamp Raiders
that questions already been asked but tldr it’s because they are gank sets. those types of builds don’t work in high mmr BGs.

Why not run swamp raiders instead of draugr?
He only has one damage that is poison.
I’ve tested many bow setups. On paper swamp raider looks strong but it isn’t. Only applies to certain abilities which isn’t enough to bring the damage. Need sets that buff the upfront damage AND the dots. The overpowered dot damage leads to the kills.
Swamp raider is really only seen on pure snipe spam builds, which aren’t as effective in high elo BGs. It was one of the first builds I ever tried! Was great to learn the game with.

Is there a reason not to wear 5 pcs in 1 set of armor and 5 pcs of accessories and weapons in 1 set like in pve build?

The parts wearing sheer venom consist of armor, shoulders, necklace, ring, and legs.
If it were PVE, you would have worn 5 parts of armor: armor, belt, legs, gloves, and shoes.

Sheer venom = medium
draugrkin = light
medium gives more armor than light
so you want medium on chest, legs, shoulder.
( sheer venom )
draugrkin frontbar so it must be Draugrkin weapon. Otherwise your healing will suffer.

execute dots are basically burst at low hp thresholds but ya sure i guess. its mostly just meant to say the build does both. not super important :P

Why not run new moon instead of draugr?
new moon/orders wrath/ shattered fate resulted in higher burst for sure but the way the build functions consistently is bringing the insane pressure that draugrkin gives. my vat staff, elesus, poisons, and 3 dots are often ticking at the same time. add 330 base damage onto every instance of damage and it’s roughly an extra 1500-2500 damage per tick
I have a friend that runs sheer venom with stygian as more of a gank style and it works for him quite well. he backbars the vat 2h maul and uses rally
