I love your pink shirt Boogie! I need it in my life. Now. If I'm stressed, I just watch a Francis video, they always seem to calm me down... some how. -Love from Australia :-)
dont worry people are dumbasses. likes AND dislikes count(to the youtube search engine) as positive interaction. dislikes promote a video just as much as likes. LET THEM dislike it, they may as well be liking it.
Believe it or not...I relieve stress via your videos. I suffer from moderate to severe PTSD so each day is a struggle to function. on the most basic level. I work out most everyday and that helps a lot but a routine I have is taking a hot Epsom salt bath, turning on your latest video and just listening. I enjoy hearing about your life and your opinions on video games and current events. I also find it comforting hearing from someone else who suffers from PTSD and other mental issues simular to mine as awful as that may sound. At the end of the day I feel more at peace after a hot soak and listening. Thank you for that. I'm very grateful.
You man, YOU help me with my stress. I just discovered you around 3 videos ago. I have never laughed soo hard in all my life! I totally relate with how you feel and after 2 decades, that's a first for me on both a personal and social media level. Your unabashedly exposed vulnerabilities on display for all to see and experience has made me feel like I'm not the only one. I don't think I'll ever reach the successful and emotional highs that you have achieved but I think I'm going to follow you in order to help myself on my long road to emotional and mental recovery. Keep doing what you're doing. You've officially helped one(1) person in the world. Never stop!
I've lived in the same city in Minnesota my entire life, moving about 15 minutes away from my parents to get my bachelor's degree. I am now scheduled to ship out to Tokyo in August for 5+ years of graduate school to earn my PhD in Evolutionary Biology. To say the least, I am certainly stressed. However, I graduated early in December and have been enjoying my time off watching your videos and helping my parents get their business off the ground. You will overcome this surgery and bravely pave the way for the rest of us, instilling courage in our hearts. Love you Boogie
Boogie, you're one of my favorite UA-camrs. Content creators like you help me distract myself from the pain I have from arthritis. I don't have much anxiety but, no bullshit, I watch your videos to relax.
Dapper Skeleton I'm glad you don't have anxiety (its a bitch) but arthritis is just as or harder to deal with.... Take it easy and be good to yourself. 😊
Whenever I'm feeling stressed or just generally in a bad mood I just tune into your videos, these kind of videos about you talking about your troubles and stress make me feel a lot better about everything, love you boogie
I've had a spinner and been using spinners since 2007, made mine with marbles and an old roller skate bearing, never used them for stress, just used them for what the name literally says, to Fidget with. I don't really know how they became so popular over the past few months, but it's great to see them all over the place. Using them to help you focus on something, sure it can help, but at the same time, they're just great to mess with while you are waiting or doing nothing.....
This's like an audiovisual letter to your fans ❤️. And yeah, stress is so damaging. But when you talk about how you are learning to better handle it - just the fact that you're learning - lets me know there's light at the end of the tunnel. I know what it's like to feel nervous before a surgery (I cried even when I was getting my tonsils removed, haha). But with all of this stress, just remember you've got us in your corner. And we're rooting for you! Even when you go to the hospital, remember we will be thinking of you and wishing you the absolute best!
Hey Boogie! I'm definitely stressed out right now with work and a host of other things, and I find one thing that helps me is to let in it in a little, and then get seriously pissed off at it and use that anger to get things done, whether it be cleaning the apartment or taking care of business in general to de-clutter whatever mess is around or inside my head. It's about valuing myself high enough that I hate seeing these things happen to me or the people around me and it works out pretty well. That probably doesn't work for everyone but I find that we're always told that we shouldn't be angry and that it's a bad thing when maybe that anger is just a tool like any other that needs to be held and used properly. This works especially well when it seems like there's no end to the lows and helps remind me that the highs will come back and I'm on my way to it :D
I actually haven't seen a Fidget Spinner IRL yet. The other day I was at walmart, and they were all sold out. On my way home, I saw some guy selling them on the side of the road, no doubt scalping them. I kinda want one now.
#stressed. After I think about all the strange, unplanned, sporadic, sometimes chaotic, oddities, surprises, changes and upheaval that happens on small and large scales my stress melts away. I leave the thought thinking about how many times no matter how hard I've stressed it was just a passing of time as the thing I was stressing turned out to leave the parameters of what I was so concerned about. In short as the cheesy line goes. "In life there will be ways be troubles but worrying (stress) about it just makes it double. don't worry, be happy." really sets in with me. You've been strong enough to make it this far and from what you've shared you're in the straight stretch of your life now, enjoy the ride. Love ya dude and I'll see ya the next time :)
People who hate his videos or dislike them should change right now. Francis is trying his hardest to afford for his family. He makes videos for people's entertainment not for people to dislike them
Baby, I had the sleeve done 3 years ago. You do you, until you're ready. So supportive of your endeavor. After year one, it is tough. Keep up with the therapy, if your food weakness is mental/emotional. Mine was/is general love of food! Sadly, I think having a depression or emotional reaction to food would have been easier! Four years out, I'm having to diet-off the 60 lbs. I've regained (from 325), but you are an inspiration, going through the bariatric for the first (and hopefully ONLY) time. My stress reducer? Watching you and my other subs, outdoors on my patio, in the dead of night. Love you, too, Boogie! Will be sending you love and light during your recovery. Do what you need to do, we'll be here for you. ❤️
I'm in my last week of this semester for college, so that means finals. Not only the stress of college, but family, and just life in general is just stressful. To relieve the stress, i play my guitar, listen to music, play video games, work on one of my many projects, write a story (I'm writing for a D&D campaign), watch your favorite shows/movies (or in my case, a dvd of scrubs), just anything to keep my mind off of the stressful stuff to deal with. Also helps to give you a breather to think on stuff.
To be honest. I just started a new job as the sole IT guy for a company. It's a living hell so far because everything is disorganized, and there's virtually no information left by the previous guy. Everything has something they want done, and they all want it done right now, there's been no management of the computers so they all have different setups and lately some of the accounts havent been paid so there's problems there. I dont handle stress well, last night I just hid from my friends and played videogames. I feel like I'm in the process of burning out
I deal with stress by watching/listening to UA-cam videos and listening to music while I work. Podcasts are always particularly nice to listen to. Speaking of, so hyped to see you on H3 Podcast. It's going to be so good. I've also recently bought a Fidget Spinner on a whim just to see for myself what the fuss is about and I love it. I've found myself absentmindedly messing around with it even though I don't remember at any point picking it up off of my desk. I'm enjoying the Fidget Spinner more than the Fidget Cube somehow and I have no idea why that is because the Cube has so much more on it to fiddle around with. I guess it's just so satisfying to see how fast it can spin.
I've been dealing with Social Anxiety since, 2015 (graduation from high school). And ever since then I've been having a bunch of trouble getting an employment, talking to friends, and talking to other people I know. This, as you can imagine; has put me in a dark depressed mood and I try to act normal daily, even though my stupid brain goes through anxiety every month and week of my life. But the way I deal with it is, listening to music, or just simply watching videos that make me laugh; such as the "Francis Rage" videos. It really helps me a lot, and let's me forget all my troubles. that's pretty much how I deal with #stress
Hey Boogie, enjoy the cons! my stress levels have been high as well. I have a 3 year old with CKD, who sees 5 or so specialists, but with this my wife had to stop working and my job was not enough to withstand monthly debts. I'm almost 30 and we have 2 kids, we have moved in with my in-laws so I can go back to school full time for a nursing degree. I don't have much time for stress relief, but when I do it is either finding a fun new place to go to outside, playing a little wow here and there, and Faith has probably been the biggest factor for stress relief. love your videos, will be praying for your surgery next month! A month after your surgery, my wife is donating a kidney to a friend's 1.5 year old:)
boogie its so cool hearing you be so open about your stress and the difficulties you face in your life. its motivational its an inspiration and its relatable man. i love ya for that. Hey so ive had to deal with social/general anxiety since i can remember. my 3 tools that have worked more than anything are these(please work on them in baby steps if you decide to try): 1. mindfulness meditation 2.cognitive behavorial therapy 3. bi-hourly alarms on my phone to practice gratitude. good luck boog i hope you find what works for ya
Stress. To be perfectly honest, right now I am not dealing with it. I am under quiet a bit of pressure in terms of work and my health isn't optimal. I have had surgery to remove my gallblader about a year ago and ever since my digestive system is literally almost non functioning anymore, making life quiet a bit harder and more stressful. What I can say is that the way I am currently handling things is not healthy whatsoever. I am trying to relax somewhat nowadays by taking my time and lying down in bed listening to soothing music, but that is only a luxury I am indulging in about once a week. I sincerely hope you find a way to reduce your stress, that your surgery goes well and that you will recover without complications. You deserve it. I have also seen some parts of your cyber bullying panel and found those things inspiring. Keep up doing the good work and have a wonderful summer, buddy.
Focus on the joy, dissolve the fear. I deal with stress by breathing. Slower, deeper, rhythmic breathing. Example, going to the doctor; when my BP is taken and I am rhythmic breathing I get consistantly great numbers. Else if chatting with the nurse, my numbers are not so good. Couple of times when getting EKGs, I've been asked if I am a long distant runner ..... not a chance. Ask your wife to remind you to do the breathing while at the Con even while on stage. It doesn't have to be a big production, just some depth and *rhythmic* Takes some _practice_ to remember to do it especially when stressed. During your flights is a good time to practice
The way I deal with stress is just gaming, the fact that I get so stressed dealing with everyday life and at the end of the day I can come home and let my mind escape into a fantasy world helps me deal with it. Also, watching one of you vids helps just as much. Thanks for what you do and I hope you get through the surgery well I'll be thinkin' of ya.
Stress sucks. Fidget spinners are okay so are fidget cubes. Though nothing beats using a heavy punching bag. Get a 60 - 100 pound bag, a stand and a set of bag gloves and just punch the crap out of it.
Hey boogie. I have a high level of stress right now. I am trying to get my college placement test done. I am also trying to get my drivers license. I have a high level of stress due to my learning disabilities. I have ADHD, dyslexia, and auditory perceptual disorder. My stress never goes away. I tend to tap on my leg or tables. People get angry about that so I brought a Dungeons and Dragons D20 ring that spins. I use it so much it keeps me somewhat calm. I am really nervous about college and I want to be successful but I am nervous that my tapping or the way I act might give people the wrong idea about me. I do not do very well in relationships but I am working on that. Thanks Boogie for doing videos and talking about things that happen in your life. It helps knowing that we all have things that affect us. Also, I tend to see that once people find out I have disabilities they treat me different and act different around me. That makes me upset at times. Thanks Boogie for being nice and cool.
I deal with stress by playing league of legends and cursing ppl out while blaming them for everything that went wrong in the game. Always makes me feel better
I wish I can have a stress free summer lol I'm getting kicked out by my mom in a few weeks because of my older brother lying to her, I'm having to work 3 jobs just to cover rent, and just life in general is rough. But one thing that really does help me is just sitting back between jobs and watching your content :) honestly, no matter what it is, your videos seem to relax me quite well when I just sit down and listen (hence why I love the rambling series so much lol) so while you say you owe all you have to us watching, I can guarantee many others like me owe a lot of stress free days from you, so thank you boogie/Steven (if I may call you by your first name haha) from not only me but from all the others like me, thank you for helping us out. I hope to meet you someday so I can tell you face to face how much you help me man :) I hope you have a wonderful next week at vidcon and I hope all goes well flight and stress wise, can't wait to watch the next video :) -Chris/TorchicIsland
#stress about losing my job recently. Trying to start up a youtube channel to maybe channel that into stress but I don't see how people find the motivation for it.
Captain Racoon dang I'm sorry dude, I wish in much luck in the job hunt. I recently got a job finally but the stress is killing me so I don't know what to do.
Captain Racoon The ones who do UA-cam for money are the ones who give up first. It's all about passion and doing what you love. Of course when people get bigger they want money, and there's nothing wrong with that.
@Arkatrux I'm not doing it for money, I'm doing it because I have this stupid thing about myself.. I have depression and the easiest way I deal with that is to make other people laugh. I tell dumb jokes and stuff.. People like Robin Williams really speak to me because I feel like I know what they went through.
Captain Racoon Hey I'll sub to you bro. I love making people happy too. I'm always sad too and there's this girl I like but doubt she likes me so I'm stressed and having anxiety and self conscious
STRESS! Holy bploops it's been a stressful time. I relocated to another country with my wife and dog; I'm moving my life and an entire operation from one country to another. I've hired people, I've fired people, I've trained people, eaten new food, searched for a place to live, done legal paperwork, and a million things. Luckily my wife is with me. She takes care of lots of busy-work and comes to my office to have lunch some times. At night she warms up a heatpack and puts it on my neck and shoulders. She also booked a massage session for my birthday next week. That's how I deal with stress, thanks to the love my wife. Love,

boogie you are a real example of what I want to be when I grow up and I'm 33 :)
My mother in law is living with us right now...so when I feel stressed meditation and alone time helps. I really enjoy reading and watching documentaries (I really love to learn lol) so doing those things alone helps me recharge and not stress. I hope you have safe flight and a good time at the con!
I had INSANE STRESS a week ago because of exams... That i did not learn for. Not even a little! But i PASSED with only one bad grade. Mom is proud i am done with that god forsaken shit hole school, i hated that place. Just need to bring my books back and pick up my diploma! EXTRA LONG SUMMER VACATION OF GAMING!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, boogie, this summer has been hell on me. I know that other people have gone through worse, but i just had my girlfriend of 9 months leave me for someone else the day before you uploaded this video. So, as you can imagine, I'm really stressed out right now. You, Pewds h3h3, ZF, and PUBG have kept me going. Watching this video today really improved my mood, and i'm going to bed with a smile. I know that i'm late to the party, so you probably won't end up reading it, but i just want you to know that I love your content and it will always make me smile.
Buy a house man, SO much better. You have to do your own repairs, but all that money is going into the value of your house. When you rent, you're just throwing money away.
I agree. Real Estate is also an investment that you will make money on no matter what. The market always goes up eventually. My father-in-law bought a building back in the 80's for 40 grand and sold it in the early 2000's for a million bucks. You can't sell your apartment, lol
i feel you here, boogie. Been an extremely stressful summer for me so far. in the middle of a job search and hoping i can find something before I get too far behind on bills. spending a bit of time watching your videos helps remind me: everyone's got problems. hope everything goes well with your con trips, cant wait to see what you are up to.
I've been going through some heavy stress lately and my music taste generally gravitates towards metal. Lately I've found jazz of all things to be a great reliever of stress so I listen to long instrumentals of jazz whenever i'm gaming or whatever i'm doing. Seems to help. Good luck with your surgery dude I genuinely hope it goes smoothly and the weeks and months following it you take lots of rest. We'll still be here when you get back :)
I deal with stress by chilling out to UA-cam vids (listening to audio mostly). I've actually been watching your 1 hour+ pre-recorded live streams with fans. They're hilarious and so entertaining. Please do more!
Honestly to relax and relieve stress I listen to my favorite youtubers like you, Preach Gaming, Hotnotmeh and a few others. You guys give me something to look forward to every week and it helps me to know I can count on you guys to make me laugh and informed. Thanks man
I handle stress by working out, so hopefully that is something that will work for you too, Boogie. I know, I know, it sounds "bro-ish", but for me it comes down to achieving a more primal instinct that I have to neglect in daily life; to simply focus on finishing "the job". By working out, I can focus on a simple, single physical issue, rather than a myriad of mental issues I have to deal with at work (or in daily life), and allow my brain to shut down for a bit. The benefit is a healthier life, a solid hour or more of "inner peace", more motivation both mentally and physically, and also a high gained from an endorphin rush while feeling completely exhausted. I also think it's a better form of meditation because you're focusing on breathing, form, and trying to figure out how to be aware enough to combine the two into a simple task: run, push, lift, swing, etc. The net gains are far higher than simply sitting and breathing while trying to think of nothing.
I just love your videos man. Im having my lap band removed monday to have a correction done so can have the sleeve done. Having your videos of similar situations really helps to calm my stress. So thank you
I'm a bit stressed out. I have tons and tons of summer homework for my junior year of high school next year. I have to write a shit ton of essays, teach myself enough chemistry to not die in AP chem, take Chinese summer classes, and more. I've been running a couple of miles every day or so to keep the stress down, and playing a shit ton of video games. I hope you're well boogie, I'm rooting for you!!!
I'm a software developer. I wouldn't call my job stressful but I do find myself in multiple occasions banging my head against the wall to try and solve a coding problem, debug a bug, etc. Stress relievers are great for me cause they help me concentrate and think about the task at hand. So now, i have two stress relievers on my hand. One is a recently acquired fidget spinner. Another is a bunch of my business cards that I shuffle in my hands like I used to when I was a Magic the Gathering player. Both of them help me keep my stress low, focus on trying to solve my problem and so on. Should they be used on environments where they might be disruptive, like for example, kids in the middle of school classes? NO... definitely no. But there are situations when most stress relievers, including fidget spinners are useful. I love mine and won't get rid of it any time soon :) I also have another one at home so i can spin when i'm twitch streaming FPS games and need to tone down my salt lvls :)
IT classes in the Summer are hella stressful but UA-cam in general is what relaxes me wether it is watching you or some other big UA-camr (no pun intended) or just clicking on the random little videos that pop up on my recommend feed. If it weren't for UA-cam not sure I would be able to get by lmao
Con season is so stressful! I make plushies and my next con is first weekend of august, and every year, I start getting prepared around march, telling myself for once I won't be last minute, and every freaking time, life happens, and I end up being rushed and so stressed x) Enjoy the cons, I love them so much, everybody is there to have a good time, people are happy, we can be ourselves and hang out with people just like us!
Things have been getting pretty hectic in my life recently; I've started reapplying for university which is stressing me the heck out. Managing stress has always been something I find super difficult, but I've got a lot of great people around me and a whole lot of UA-cam to watch ;) Wishing you all the best Boogie; you the man, man.
why are fidget spinners even a fucking thing, they look like a failed science project, teacher: what does it do kid: spins and "relieves stress" teacher : F- get an actual idea
no hate boogie, I love you and your videos, but this will just be more annoying for this stupid trend, because t never relieves my stress at all. to me, all it does is spin
They became a thing because it's a new way for people to make money off something. At some point, yo-yo's were cool, then kendama's, now these shitty things. At least they don't have fidget spinners world championships....yet.
I guess some people with anxiety find them helpful. Kindof like those fidget cubes we saw on facebook way before fidget spinners, with the buttons and switches and dials and what not. It's not really for life stress. It's for nervous people.
I used to stress over everything. Home life, work life, not so social life, and my online gaming life. I got so stressed last year I ended up in the hospital, thought I was having a heart attack. Was one of the most scary things in my life dealing with that. Now I have managed to try and not stress over things I know i cant change. It will never be gone but it can be more managable, thanks to loved ones and twitch/UA-cam (just vegging out for hours) Sorry wont do fidget spinner crap.. hate it but if it works for you all the power to you
Damn boogie. On the off chance that you scroll through this: I just found your channel and you are a genuine human being. I appreciate how sincere you are in your interactions and the attitude that you take with your problems. Mad respects. Keep on my dude
been a fan of yours for awhile bud. I understand support. I sold a 3000 camera lens to help pay for my wedding last year. And since then I haven't wanted to use my camera. I lost the drive to do it. in the last year I've started building lego. gaming less and sleeping more and being very antisocial. I had a medical condition that they didn't know what it was. blood disorders cancers. you name it I was tested. on Wednesday I go and get my answers. And I'm so happy. my wife 2 weeks ago purchased the lens I bought and lit a fire under my ass to get that creative edge back. And it's been awesome. The support for your friends and family is key... goodluck on your trip. And the surgery.
I deal with stress by trying to take my mind off what's stressing me. I'll play games, sports, work out, skate, build something, or watch some of my favorite UA-camrs. I'll just try to spend a lot of time taking myself out of the world sort of by focusing a lot of energy towards something whether it's productive or not. I started dealing with a lot stress near the end of high school (a couple years ago now) because of a medical issue that popped up out of no where: extreme nausea induced by hunger and being in a car (especially if I'm a a passenger). Had a couple doctors visits, but no answers. So it really stresses me out when I'm feeling nauseous because it makes me extremely nervous around people and just in public because of the fear of getting sick in front of people and how embarrassing that is. College classes are stressful enough, but imagine sitting there on the verge of throwing up in every class. It makes it insanely hard to focus on actually learning. I don't know if you'll ever read this Boogie, but you're a great person whom I look up to. I really hope the surgery works out for you. As a very active vegan myself, I'd love to see you get into healthy shape after all is said and done! Love your content, keep it up.
I started a new job about a month ago I enjoy it but I understand why you mean by having to deal with lots of emotions I struggle with a lot of those things . For me seeing the end result (being able to build a better life helps alot ) Watching vlogs and channels like yours really help you help us forget about the stress and crappy things and viewers help give people an amazing platform.
{STRESS} I'm in my last year of college and for the final module, we have to do a 3 month work placement. My work placement was unpaid forcing me to keep my part time job. So for the last 11 weeks, I have been working 7 days a week except for a glorious week in which I got sick and couldn't work, a minor house bound holiday if you will. Up until I got sick I was smoking, I had only really been smoking for a couple months with college and after I recovered I was so turned off smoking that I quit. But now I needed something new and I've always been a gym enthusiast on/off so I decided to get back into the gym. The first couple weeks were really hard. The mind games are tough and some days I did a session and didn't even break a sweat. But I stuck with it and now going into my third week I feel stronger already and I'm starting to feel the desire to exercise again. I feel like you will encounter some strong mind games after the surgery but know you are your own worst enemy but also your strongest ally. I guess what I'm ranting about is I went from an unhealthy way of dealing with stress to a much healthier way even if I didn't want to at the start, and you could argue that you will be doing the same. We're all going to be supporting you on the journey ahead. I'm new enough to the channel, around a month or so but I really enjoy your videos and good luck.
I am stressed the hell out! Deal8ng with anxiety... today was a bad one... but have to go thru the day with a smile for work and for the kids. But it hurts to suffer in silence. I am affraid sometime that my head will not be able to make sense out of what I feel... Afraid that one day I will go full panic thinking i'm having a heart attack. Righr now I know its just anxiety and that it will pass. I feel like the world moves faster then me. WHAT I DO... I kick box the HELL out of it! Started in february... it feels so good to get the frustration and the pain out! And I breath. Lock myself in a quiet spot just for a minute can save my life 😉 Take care boogie xxx Just keep pushin xx
Last semester stressed me out so much I turned this summer into what I call detox. The stress I had from my classes just about broke me, so this summer is relax-and-enjoy-what-I-can time
Spring is always super stressful for me, tons of events going on, tons of yardwork, problems with bugs and rodents and birds, wild temperature swings... but now summer is here and my schedule is now clear for about 2 weeks (except for work) followed by traveling, cant wait
Honestly, the best way I deal with stress is to plan out what's going to happen, whether it's school work, work work, or even social events, then once it's planned out and I'm in the moment just forget about the other stuff and work hard at whatever it is your doing and try to make the best of it. I know it sounds vague but for me, it works very well and gets me trough the stressful times.
I'm taking summer classes in college, and I have been dealing with my mom being in the hospital for the past month (she's out now) so I have been dealing with some stress. I did buy a fidget spinner and it actually helps me with stress but listening to music and UA-cam are the most ways I deal with stress.
Stress: Thankfully, I've always been a low stress person. I consider myself VERY lucky in that regard. Even when I was in college, and had to deal with some of the more stressful things, I just knew in the back of my mind that "Everything will get done, everything will be fine, one step at a time". That said, work is never ever more important than health. Do what you have to do to get as healthy as you can. We all know you can do it. You owe it to your friends and family, you owe it to your wife, and most of all you owe it to yourself. :)
Im a large fellow also and i am learning to deal with stress by going for walks. It really is helping me deal with final exams and get away from everything for an hour or so. I cant wait for you to get the surgery and see how everything goes for you.
#Stress Boogie Buddy, I'm in the exact same place as you, I'm 500lbs plus, I have anxieties, I run my own company, I have to suck it up just to go to meetings to make money and live. I have so much respect for you pal, it takes big huge steel danglers to be this open about your personal journey. The only advice I can give about coping strategies is imagination. Whenever I get overwhelmed, I take control of my thoughts and go on a mental vacation.... I also game like a mofo with my clan in the Evil Empire ha-ha My clan mates are always there for me when I need them. Chances are you won't even see this, but if you do, seriously.... Good luck mate, you're an inspiration.
I play with my dog to relieve stress, either wrestling with him or surprise attacking him when he walks into the kitchen. Keep up the good work with these videos, and I'm praying for you for a safe and successful surgery
Thanks for another great video! Taking a break from university at home with the parents, just got my first fidget spinner so I was spinning away while watching. Love you Boogie!
Every year my friends and I go to Bonnaroo and that helps out a lot. My preferred way of relaxing day-to-day though is driving the back roads out in the country and listening to music. Especially at night. I love it. It's so peaceful, nobody is out on the roads, and the moon/night sky are beautiful. Stopping at a little church just to do some stargazing and relax for a second is really nice. Even though I'm an atheist, I have to say churches can be nice if you're the only person at one and you're blasting some Norwegian Black Metal. :P
Hi Boogie, I guess you could say I am having a stressful/busy summer so far. I finished up my junior year at college at the end of april and just missed out on my first 4.0. I got a bad grade on a paper in my bioethics class that caused me to end up with a B in the class. But I cant complain too much as that was my best semester yet, especially after coming off of my worst semester which was in the fall of my junior year. Immediately after finishing my classes, I had to start studying for the MCAT that was coming up in about 3 weeks. That was an extremely stressful time for me as I was studying 12+ hours a day, every day and I don't feel like I knew the material as well as I should have. Most people study 2 to 3 months for the MCAT, and I was doing it in just 3 weeks because I was struggling to find the time to study for the MCAT on top of studying for my classes and work during the school year. The test took me 7 and a half hours and I was exhausted afterwards but I feel pretty good about it. I find out how I did on the 20th, so by the time you see this comment, if you see this comment, I will have my score which will make or break me for going to med school in 2018. On top of all this, I applied for an internship back in february at my local hospital called mentoring in medicine, which is huge for anyone thinking about med school. They have had about 160 students over the past 15 or so years with 85% of interns getting accepted into med school. I was anxiously waiting to see if I got into the the program and I eventually was! That was a big stress relief as it is going to be my main source of experience and shadowing (it will provide about 500hrs of experience). So far I've shadowed doctors in radiology, interventional radiology, anesthesiology, peds, OB, and cardiothoracic surgery. I actually did CT surgery today and got to see an aortic valve replacement which is an open heart surgery. Later on this week I will get to shadow a neruo surgeon and a plastic surgeon. In addition, I'm working on my applications for both DO and MD schools, which sucks ass. It takes forever and is a very time consuming process. I would have submitted my application already but my personal statement wasnt finished and I'm currently putting the final touches on it. Hopefully by the time you read this, I will have submitted. But how do I deal with the stress? I'm not exactly sure, I just kinda do. I've never really been a stressed person my entire life. Probably the one thing my friends would say about me is how stress free I am. I wish I could give you advice on how to handle your stress but quite frankly, idk how I do it myself. I do have my go-to's like my dirt bike, which helps me escape reality every now and again. Also going out with friends on some weekends where alcohol my or may not be involved helps alot to unwind from a busy week. But I hope you have a good week boogie and good luck with your surgery that is coming up here in the near future!
I have been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder due to military combat deployments to the middle east. I am able to manage my stress levels by exercising, playing video games, playing magic, and watching your streams/videos. Thank you boogie!
Hey boogie, it's actually winter here in Australia and since you love knowing what your fans are up to well: these few months have been pretty stressful for me, i've realised i need glasses for my left eye and for someone who doesn't wear them it's kind of sad for me however i just went to Supernova (kind of like comicon for aussies) dressed as Bandit Snow White from Once Upon A Time and and it was awesome! i spent ages on my costume making it and it paid off! i met the 501 and i even met one of my favourite youtubers Cosplay Chris! it was so awesome and i really hope your surgery goes well. no matter what you do i'll always come back to your channel :)
I love your pink shirt Boogie! I need it in my life. Now.
If I'm stressed, I just watch a Francis video, they always seem to calm me down... some how.
-Love from Australia :-)
Head I'm stressed can't get sub please sub me
Ak King no
Ak King please do a Hanna Baker :)
Your calm because francis releases all the stress you got by flipping tables and shit xD

Can't wait for your H3 podcast, don't worry about it man. Just do what you're best at which is being your lovely self.
while you are taking a break you should let the wife and dog take over the channel, hell i'd still watch.
What i do to deal with my stress or depression is to listen to music, lay in bed, and play zelda. Best combo ever
Genius Idiot
Damn
I usually deal with #stress by watching you and a few other of my favorite creators :)
BrannOGram why u have to put the # thing
+Luis Lopez well cause he said to use that word so I was emphasizing it :P
BrannOGram I'm stressed because I can't get subs please sub me
Ak King Boi you'll get stressed the more subs you get..
I just love listening to his voice. Its so relaxing and real.
and sexy
This video was just posted and some people already disliked it even tho they haven’t even seen the entire video yet.
Cuz fidget spinners. So yeah. Same.
People have an irrational fear of anyone saying things about fidget spinners thats not hateful. The kids on the internet are weird dude.
M0NK3YM4N their Haters 😠
dont worry people are dumbasses. likes AND dislikes count(to the youtube search engine) as positive interaction. dislikes promote a video just as much as likes. LET THEM dislike it, they may as well be liking it.
M0NK3YM4N any video that has any sort of whacky thing in the thumbnail ment to get people to click on it i dislike
Boogie doing a podcast with H3H3 is going to be so good!!
i cant wait for this, is going to be bigger than E3
Chriz 1416 its kinda sad but it will be the hightlight of my week
Really excited about this
PAPA FRICKIN BLESS!
Boo!!! you suck
Never stop!
I wish i was going, I just want to give you a hug
If you can
Ryan Pamatz HAHAHAHA
Man I love this guy!
I've had a spinner and been using spinners since 2007, made mine with marbles and an old roller skate bearing,
never used them for stress, just used them for what the name literally says, to Fidget with.
I don't really know how they became so popular over the past few months, but it's great to see them all over the place.
Using them to help you focus on something, sure it can help, but at the same time, they're just great to mess with while you are waiting or doing nothing.....
Watching your videos always keep me stress free
This's like an audiovisual letter to your fans ❤️. And yeah, stress is so damaging. But when you talk about how you are learning to better handle it - just the fact that you're learning - lets me know there's light at the end of the tunnel. I know what it's like to feel nervous before a surgery (I cried even when I was getting my tonsils removed, haha). But with all of this stress, just remember you've got us in your corner. And we're rooting for you! Even when you go to the hospital, remember we will be thinking of you and wishing you the absolute best!
We can wait, the most important is that you take care of your body
Hoss Cartwright hello awesome profile pic and name! love that show!!!
He makes videos for people's entertainment not for people to dislike them

everyone has an opinion
LOVE YOU BOOGIE
I feel like I'm in the process of burning out
IT here too. feels bad man. hope it gets better.
I guess it's just so satisfying to see how fast it can spin.
hi boogie this is the earliest I've been to o e of your videos hello from Scotland
I'm a simple autist, I see fidget spinners in the title, I click like.
lmao
Mmmm sweaty Boogie hugs
boogie its so cool hearing you be so open about your stress and the difficulties you face in your life. its motivational its an inspiration and its relatable man. i love ya for that.
Hey so ive had to deal with social/general anxiety since i can remember.
my 3 tools that have worked more than anything are these(please work on them in baby steps if you decide to try):
1. mindfulness meditation
2.cognitive behavorial therapy
3. bi-hourly alarms on my phone to practice gratitude.
good luck boog i hope you find what works for ya
I love how Boogie chose a shirt that matches his face color :)
It doesn't have to be a big production, just some depth and *rhythmic*
Takes some _practice_ to remember to do it especially when stressed.
VizZzion I believe this story.
VizZzion That's the same thing for me in Call of Duty on search and destroy
If you're one of those people just know, NO ONE FUCKING LIKES YOU
VizZzion your the reason i stopped playig leauge. man it used to be a good game till trolls took over
game is the most toxic thing ever
I hope to meet you someday so I can tell you face to face how much you help me man :) I hope you have a wonderful next week at vidcon and I hope all goes well flight and stress wise, can't wait to watch the next video :)
-Chris/TorchicIsland
#stress about losing my job recently. Trying to start up a youtube channel to maybe channel that into stress but I don't see how people find the motivation for it.
Captain Racoon dang I'm sorry dude, I wish in much luck in the job hunt. I recently got a job finally but the stress is killing me so I don't know what to do.
Captain Racoon The ones who do UA-cam for money are the ones who give up first. It's all about passion and doing what you love. Of course when people get bigger they want money, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Just record every time you play games
EXTRA LONG SUMMER VACATION OF GAMING!!!!!!!!!!
max nenov I'm stressed can get subs
max nenov sub me plz
fuck off mate
Stardere Thanks mate.
Ak King stop begging for subscribers none gets to the point they are at by doing that.
Until fidget spinners start paying rent, it's not spinning anything away.
Edit: or Mortgage.
Buy a house man, SO much better. You have to do your own repairs, but all that money is going into the value of your house. When you rent, you're just throwing money away.
Telling someone to buy a house in 2017 is like telling someone to win the lottery.
HOORAY FOR FRANCIS!
Love your rambling series, feels the most natural and love em'. Good vibes to you my friend.
great vid boogie can you make a francis rage about vid con
UA-cam definitely helps when I'm feeling stressed. I appreciate these videos, thank you!
The original fidget spinner was a revolver
Thats actually bad for a revolver. Bends the rod that holds the cylinder.
+Catcus it was the spinner top, you dumbass
Matt Smith good one numbskull you cant take a joke
+Matt Smith learn to spell before you try to troll shitgrill.
+Sheldon Cooper HUH HUH BAZINGA AMIRITE
Fuck off back to Reddit you cretin.
We'll still be here when you get back :)
where is vidcon?
I deal with stress by chilling out to UA-cam vids (listening to audio mostly).
I've actually been watching your 1 hour+ pre-recorded live streams with fans. They're hilarious and so entertaining. Please do more!
I take the occasional side job for governments that have someone they don't like.
What is your profile picture?
Honestly to relax and relieve stress I listen to my favorite youtubers like you, Preach Gaming, Hotnotmeh and a few others. You guys give me something to look forward to every week and it helps me to know I can count on you guys to make me laugh and informed. Thanks man
Hey Boogie!!!!!
Are you ready for Vidcon!
AZ XGameplay 'Are you ready for Vidcon?'* not '!'
Vitex I know, I was just excited overall and had a typo.
I am currently on my way to Vidcon.
Wassup my hors
I just love your videos man. Im having my lap band removed monday to have a correction done so can have the sleeve done. Having your videos of similar situations really helps to calm my stress. So thank you
I have a golden retriever
he is old
his name is frodo
dafuq
Jesse he is 13 and I love him very much
Nice job team
I'm a bit stressed out. I have tons and tons of summer homework for my junior year of high school next year. I have to write a shit ton of essays, teach myself enough chemistry to not die in AP chem, take Chinese summer classes, and more. I've been running a couple of miles every day or so to keep the stress down, and playing a shit ton of video games. I hope you're well boogie, I'm rooting for you!!!
Who likes Milk?
Sonic the alpha anyone with common sense
Sonic the alpha Who likes water?
why, does it affect you. you are just hating because its cool to hate.
loloppez fine I'll edit it
Sonic the alpha wait what did it say before?
Just started working 5 days a week, 8-5. I'm stressed as fuck
How do I deal with it? Marijuana after work.
sinimo7 I work 7/4. My solution was ASMR. hehe
sinimo7 I just drink after work. The worst thing you can possibly do.

I make plushies and my next con is first weekend of august, and every year, I start getting prepared around march, telling myself for once I won't be last minute, and every freaking time, life happens, and I end up being rushed and so stressed x)
Enjoy the cons, I love them so much, everybody is there to have a good time, people are happy, we can be ourselves and hang out with people just like us!
agreed, fidget spinners are fantastic! great way to destress and focus your mind xD
I really enjoy your videos. The way I deal with stress is playing with my two young daughters, they always brighten my day.
I fidget a lot and fidget Spinners help
Things have been getting pretty hectic in my life recently; I've started reapplying for university which is stressing me the heck out. Managing stress has always been something I find super difficult, but I've got a lot of great people around me and a whole lot of UA-cam to watch ;)
Wishing you all the best Boogie; you the man, man.
why are fidget spinners even a fucking thing, they look like a failed science project,
teacher: what does it do
kid: spins and "relieves stress"
teacher : F- get an actual idea
no hate boogie, I love you and your videos, but this will just be more annoying for this stupid trend, because t never relieves my stress at all. to me, all it does is spin
Random Gaming It's more for people who do what the name implies often; fidget. And it works for that purpose, why it became a trend I have no idea.
"why it became a trend I have no idea."
Probably because mental illness is all the rage now so people can pretend they're special.
Your happiness and confidence is really showing in your videos after been told you were going to get the surgery! It's great to see :D
Wuzup my nigga. Bring back jessy
I was very stressed out yesterday and to fix that I put one of your playlist on and watched every Francis video that I could made me so happy
