Question- why not just put the sauce packets in the fridge or freezer? Doesn't the ice mix make it too watery?
Or make them in to ice cubes similar to how people do coffee or milk ice for their coffee to not get watery?

​@@setarehsh3749 my guess is because the sauces are too salty to be served as is, so you need water and ice to tone down the flavour until its just right. Not completely sure though since I've never had them either.

Omg I could eat this every day. I greet sea salt flavored nori sheets, then bought some kinbucha so I can make dashi stoke. The only thing I don't have is the plus made broth with ice cubes. I made stock to go with the noodles and froze them partially as ice cubes. It sure made it elevated in flavor with the sushi. I'm making it again today its so good.
