I just got mortars I found this just in time. I have 400hrs in Arma 3 mostly solo. If I had know about this mod I would have been playing it all the time. I'm on 12 hours straight, no stop in sight. Thanks for the help man, much appreciated.

Nice little tutorial. I just played around using Zeus today while testing sound mod.
I've also found useful to take a mortar hilux with APC or something, tow the hilux near where Im attacking, shoot all rounds and attack with APC.
I've actually decided to do a let's play of Antistasi, part one will be released today or tomorrow. Just need to edit it, but i'll try and explain thing's as I am going through it. So keep an eye out.

Im 9 days into Antistasi ultimate on Ruha and need to smash a military base!
Step 1 download Drongos Artillery. Step 2 have an AI on the mortar. Step 3 enter coordinates or click on the map, set #shells and you are good. So far this mod works for all artillery/mortar type supports. The mod detects any mounted friendly AI and allows you to control where when and what they shoot

What about the mortar emplacements you can set like the hmg and at emplacements? Any idea how to work those?

It doesn't seem to work in the latest version (3.3.3). I don't even get the 2 bottom options when pressing Y
In some antistasi versions you need to select the mortar group with high command menu (ctrl+space) and press shift+y to open the artilery menu

Is there a different way to deploy the Mortar Squads (the 8 unit one) as using this method, they still don't deploy the mortar. They just stand there.
I think you just gotta keep trying, the mechanic is pretty buggy. I'll have a look myself at some point.
I may be late to the party but im interested if you can command more than 1 mortar team to get more rounds down range faster?
Hey how did you place that marker by aiming, without having to go into your map first? I know how to place a waypoint via the map, but not how to mark by simply aiming..

thank you sir. im tired looking at my mortar team and they doing nothing. there's literaly 3 apc and couple of enemy squad 400 m at the hill. and my mortar team is afk. so i just shot my own mortar team with rpg out of frustration.
What about using mortars that are placed in a garrison?
does it need to be war level 5
I believe so mate. It will tell you if you tried to create a mortar team if you have the required war level.
I had a more challenging time with it.
