Airfix 1/48 Westland Lysander Mk.III Full Build

Full build of the new tool Airfix 1/48 Westland Lysander Mk.I/Mk.III.
A couple of things I notice about this kit compared to most in my stash...
The mould seams are minimal and disappear with the slightest touch of a sanding stick. Perfect if you find parts cleanup a bit of a chore.
Some of the runner attachments are placed on the mating surfaces. In theory this is a good idea but I managed to sand curves into a couple of previously flat surfaces which resulted in a poor join. I know I should take more care but it can be tricky.
I managed to destroy the control panel decal. Don't apply Tamiya clear varnish before the Micro Sol has dried completely. I rushed and it cost me.
I placed the map upside down, I'm blaming the instructions.
Finally the eagle eyed will notice there is no serial number decal on the right hand side. I put the decals on the model, carried it carefully to a covered area to dry, placed it down gently, walked out of the room and found the serial number mangled on the tip of a finger. Go figure.
