Inspiring hearing this conversation. As someone who’s lived long abroad. The feeling is mutual.
I believe Shaba should join sports medicine. Seems like a passion he has.

Been waiting for this type of video ....I wanted to know @ Dr atwine is it a common practice to see drs or other medical personnel coming to UK to do observaship ..and for extended periods of time..like one year ..I have had an interest in cardiology investigations eg ECHO and ECG.cardiac stress tests ECG course in Kenya which are very scarce / not easy to get in Kenya...I would wish to branch ...in that line I know in US they are known as cardiology highly specialised technitians ,they do and report the test done ....
I would wish to know about that line of sturdies becouse I know it will add a lot of value in my career both here and abroad ...

I dont think its common to do an observer ship for a year.. that's too long.. given that visit visa's are not more than 6 months, the visa type would have to change

    Hey
My girlfriend is in the UK for her PLAB 2 exams. She is planning on doing clinical attachment after completing her exam. Can you please suggest a consultant who can take her under their wing please?

With a background in MSc Mental health and the love for sports, you should absolutely aim at sport psychiatry. The only major difference is that you will not do ECGs with all these sports men and but you get to actually get to their inner core health. Either way whichever he chooses will be wonderful. Good luck to all of you in your Journey's

Many thanks Shaba & Cissy. So, about the clinical attachment, does it in anyway help you to join mainstream work as a doc in the UK?

@@drcissyatwine Thank you. So, I w'd love to know if there are specific licensing exams I w'd have to take, or I still have to do the mainstream PLABs

@@buhamizoainembabazi9966 ýou can do PLAB or can do the MRCOG exams instead..both would lead you to getting gmc registration with a license to practise which is what you would need to apply for jobs
