- After checking, it seems that the S35VN Heist is now discontinued. Most likely can be sourced from some retailers or found on a knife swap forum, for those that really like the look of it (its excellent).

@@AndrewStafford1 ah that’s cool to hear, glad that you like it then. It is definitely on the expensive side, but yea wildly slicey and is quite scary now I’ve given it a strop. Love mine too though
As for that other knife I’m kinda trying to keep it a secret, it’s from this brand that literally appeared less than a month ago. As soon as I get it I’ll be doing lots of videos on it. Looks incredible, very lightweight with a crossbar lock and multiple deployment methods. Just waiting for the storms in China to die down a bit as I have quite a few things waiting to be shipped. Need to get it in hand first and try it out before I recommend it to anyone

Do you have a Demko shark cub? They cut WAY better than the 20.5 or Flytanium arcade. Highly recommended. I always add skiff bearings to Demko knives so that’s an added expense but still. Fantastic edc
@@tgonzalez1983 yea have had one for a while, was my first shark lock. Got some OG scales coming in for it at the end of this month so that should be fun. one of my favourite smaller knifes for sure
@@Archetype_EDC The AUS10A versions started trickling out for $90! That’s way too much imo so I bought the BHQ ultem exclusive for $115. If I don’t like the scales, I’ll do like you and get an OG set
Yea thats a great idea actually. The sale they are putting on is so close to the aus10 ones so you might as well just take the 20cv blade for barely that much difference.
Someone I know got one of those and is selling it, half tempted to get an ultem shark cub as well but ill see. Also If I dont like the ultem (or if they flex too much, which seems to be the main complaint from people returning theirs), Ill put my G10 scales on it as well once my OG scales arrive for the other one
So which scales work for the pyrite bowie also?
Everything from the pyrite family with a button lock should fit on them, since they all share the same shape and setup. Not sure how the end results will be though, could be hit or miss

@Archetype_EDC come to find out I can't swap mine cuz I have the stainless steel handle bowie and doesn't have a liner. 🤷♂️
its ok none of them have liners, the swap I did can be done on any of them. But two issues, one is that you would have to buy a whole new knife to get the scales, and two is that the results can be all over the place.
My bowie pyrite got extremely good action and a super strong detent, whilst the other pyrite I swapped with got a much weaker detent and a few other issues, so its not 100% reliable.
They are releasing a really nice version of the bowie pyrite soon (kinda looks like a Buck 110 combined with the pyrite) with S90V steel. If you dont mind paying the 200 for that, would recommend it for sure

Nope, very late to the game with that. Had been meaning to get one for ages but only just got it in yesterday. Absolutely life changer.
Made me practice a lot more with the whetstones though so I guess that was a positive
@Archetype_EDC oh lol it's like forgetting the cherry on top of the ice cream....stroping really polishes the edge .
@@workingknives it’s better than that, still so excited as to how good it really is and how fast it works. Still have to get a good edge with the stone first but yea im absolutely loving it
