Thanks! New GB decks will appear on this channel in the future, as well as decks focused on different archetypes/themes. I have added Fluffal to my list of upcoming projects.
Great job on this vid! Could you make an update to this deck when you get the time? Would love to see any changes you may have made and how it fairs against higher tier decks.
@@RaidenReborn fair, I can just see Dragases and Nerokius being cut. Also will you keep the Tri Brigade Spell in the Deck? Also also did you play around with Kit and the Tri Brigade Traps?
@@stephantorresdasilva7443 Yes I intend to keep the Tri-Brigade spell going forward. This deck already uses Kitt. Yes I did play around with the Tri-Brigade traps and I found Revolt to be the best one so far.
Hi im a returning ygo player, havnet played since the bujins were printed, back then i palyed control gb, with 3 chariots and black holes and wire tap and bottomless... simpler times. Now i see there is domitarius, a chariot on a stick xd. Im wondering if you could do a sideboard guide, im playing a similar version on online clients, im having problems with what to side out.
Hey, thanks for stopping by. Aha, yeah a lot has changed in the game of yugioh since you last played. So, to help me answer your query; what are your most common matchups online?
@@RaidenReborn im not playing the same sideboard, im trying to simulate my irl deck, so im not playing 20+€ cards and i dont rly know the decks i play against, i was hoping to get info on which cards in the main are weak. example: Against control decks cards [a] [b] [c] are weak so you cut one of each, or cards [x] [y] [z] are borderline useless so you cut them all out. I worked like this with the reactive dack i played a few years back, im wondering if the same logic can be implied with combo decks like this, because it seems to me there should be a cerain density of combo cards, like if i side in too many hate cards like ash or nibiru or dd crow etc, then i will birck way more often. Im looking for an easy sideboarding algorythm, i would usually cut one andall and one tenkki (id play 3) and some of ther 3off cards, one of each and i dont know weather this is correct.
@@christiansandri9155 Ah gotcha and no problem. I'll try to answer your query using my build and how I like to play it. My build is designed to go-first by default and as such, cards like Ash Blossom are in my side deck becuase, I want to maximise all my combo pieces and cards which can help me push through disruptions and build my board. I know this can be a double-edged sword if I lose the roll of the dice which can also cost me the first round, but, in cases like this, I'd rather just scoop and go to round 2 and secure my "go-first" play; while denying my opponent knowledge of what I'm playing and exploiting this to my advantage. But of course, the side deck is there for a reason and here's some examples of the type of cards I side in/out depending on the situation: > Generic going-second siding: 3x Ash Blossom (in) | 3x Solumn Judgment (out) > Going-second vs control decks: 3x Lightning Storm (in) | 3x Solumn Judgment (out) > Going-second vs combo decks: 3x Droll & Lock Bird (in) and/or 3x Dark Ruler No More (in) | 3x Solumn Judgment (out) and/or 3x Tri-Brigade Airborne Assault (out) > Going-first vs multiple hand-traps: 3x Triple Tactics Talent (in) | 3x Solumn Judgment (out) OR 1x Unexpected Dai (out) and 1x Fire Formation - Tenki (out) and 1x World Legacy Succession (out) So in conclusion, I'd say you want at least 6 card spots reserved in your main deck to use for siding regardless of your matchups. What will be a big factor when deciding the type of cards you choose to play and how many, for this purpose, will depend on your type of build; especially if it's designed to go-first, go-second or get the best of both worlds.
Thanks for asking. So Almiraj is my backup Link-1 monster and it's another way for me to get out of difficult situations. For example in Round 1 of my match against Virtual Worlds, I Link Summoned Almiraj using Tri-Brigade Kitt but unfortunately for me, my opponent negated Kitt's GY-dump effect with Gamma. Now imagine if my opponent didn't have Gamma and I was able to resolve Kitt's effect. In this sceanrio, I would have been able to: 1. Dump Nervall off of Kitt. 2. Use Nervall's effect to add Kerass. 3. Use Kerass' effect to Special Summon itself (by discarding Andal). 4. Use Kerass' effect to Special Summon Ferrijit (by banishing Kitt and Nervall or Andal). 5. Use Ferrijit's effect to Special Summon Rescue Rabbit. 6. Use Rescue Rabbit's effect to Special Summon 2x Andal. 7. Link Summon Test Panther (using 1x Andal + Ferrijit). 8. Test Panther's effect to add a GB card (Chain Link 1). 9. Ferrijit's effect to draw 1 card, then place 1 card from my hand on the bottom of the Deck (Chain Link 2). 10. Continue to combo and build end board. In another example, Almiraji can help me continue my plays if say, my Rescue Rabbit gets negated by Veiler/Impermanence. As long as I have a World Legacy Succession or Monster Reborn in hand, I can Link Summon Almiraji using my negated Rabbit then revive it with one of the revive spells, and then use Rabbit's effect to summon 2x Andal and combo off.
Dope Profile been grinding this deck too. Wondering how you feel about Test tigers/Unexpected dai instead of rescue rabbit? Ive played with Rabbit and felt it dying to handtraps ended my turn too much. Great Video !
Thanks a lot! I think Test Tiger/Unexpected Dai can work instead of Rescue Rabbit but, I also think it would require a certain type of build to get the most out of it. Aha, I know what you mean; out of interest, what has been the hand trap that stopped your Rabbit-plays the most? I hope one day in the near future, Konami gives us a proper Main Deck archetypal starter card that has GB in its name; that way, Rabbit won't be necessary to play and would also make cards like Gladiator Rejection worthwhile (in my opinion).
I'd rather play Vishuda than Tiger for GBs, since you can recycle it with Ashuda and you can use it's effect from the grave, making it less susceptible. Also I on my end got screwed over by Nibiru, Winda, Ash and Imperm, when I played GBs with Rabbit 3 months ago. I just reduced it's number to 0-2 and used it for combo extension via Ferijit. Losing one's normal summon like this just screw you over hard, since Dai is the only direct SS that GBs get. And without a GB on the field you can just go for a Tri Brigade play into Simorgh for the Statue or Infinite negate....which both lose to Droplets, Cosmic Cyclone and DNM.
@@merricksilverwolf5366 Vishuda is a solid card and I've used it in the past. I believe GBs need an in-theme and Main Deck replacement for Test Tiger because, in 2021, it just doesn't cut it, at least not for competitive builds IMO. Yep, getting screwed by such hand traps can be a real pain and, I understand why you reduced Rabbit's count as a result. Like I mentioned previously, GBs really do need an archetypal starter card; we shouldn't have to rely on cards like Rabbit to do things. Droplets and DRNM are deadly which is why I run Solemn Judgment at 3 becuase at present, I can't think of a better counter to such cards for this deck.
@@RaidenReborn Yeah, we just need 2 cards to properly tie the deck together, a starter who ss himself+ss a GB from the deck or grave and a GB Rejection that works on every card with GB in it's Name and/or effect, if thats too op, make it like the GB field spell and dependent on counters, you get from ssing GB archetype cards. I personally just adjusted my strategy, I started my plays with the Tri Brigades, so that I can b8 out hand traps and then went for the GB strat, once things got "safe" enough.
@@merricksilverwolf5366 I really like your ideas. Since the latest wave of support we got in Chaos Impact was the best GBs got in years; I'm quite optimistic for the next wave of support. Here's hoping Konami finally addresses GB's "elephant in the room". That's very wise and is also how I like to play with the Tri-Brigade engine.
Yes - one of this build’s main focus is to shutdown your opponent with the Simorgh and Barrier Statue combo. Through testing and practice, I found the aforementioned combo to be far more impactful and consistent vs Apollousa.
@@merricksilverwolf5366 yep and better yet, if it also had a HOPT built-in tag effect, e.g. "You can target 1 Level 4 or lower GB monster you control; shuffle that GB monster into the Deck, and if you do, Special Summon 1 GB monster with a different original name from your Deck."
