Cummins DOC and DPF Resetting Procedure1

Why is it that when clearing (refresh) all the faults codes they don't go away but stay inactive and sometimes the codes go away?

might need a drive cycle or reset like Don is doing so you can regen and the ecm can say ok, clear them

Changed my temperature cut off Sensor located on top of the Engine for N14 celect plus and did reset but the problem is that its saying the engine temperature is 49.5'C. EVen when the engine is cold how do i solve such a problem
