I dated Debby Norse (Dubs) for awhile .
I met her and her husband and baby not long before they disappeared.
On the news they said her cat was left unattended and I knew she was dead but I never expected this.
I couldn’t watch the entire video.
She was a gentle sweet woman. I try not to think about what she went through.
She was a wonderful kind artistic kind of person.

@@bailey1493 What I don’t understand is that when Paul Cosner disappeared, why didn’t the police look into his phone records of the last people he spoke with I.e. the supposed callers of his newspaper ad. Wouldn’t that come back to Leonard Lake and if they did so wouldn’t they see that Lake had a criminal history. I think the police lacked in effort for what they considered smaller cases at the time. Small mysteries sometimes lead to bigger ones, they all deserve attention. May the victims rest with the Lord and those cowards that killed them pay eternally.
Thank you for your post. Lovely tribute. RIP
Claralyn was clearly an accomplice and I am so disgusted that she is out free and was given immunity. Now she lives in Pacifica, CA under the name Lyn Kessler, just happily living without paying any consequences. Disgusting excuse for a human being.

She will get her punishment.

It's logical th that she would not feel guilty about it because she was told what to do. That it's not her idea, so it's not her fault. I agree karma is a b*tch!

How could a defense attorney defend video of ing torturing and sexually asulting victims. Im gonna believe you or lying eyes.
The part that always got me was someone actually bought the property later on and found another body there in the early nineties. Id like to see a search done with modern equipment just to be sure everything was found.
That is one of my fears when I buy a property. Imagine you see a property on sale and you think you're getting a good deal and then as you try to plant a garden, you end up finding a dead body. That would be horrible.
Imagine buying that property and living there. Damn.

It's crazy to me how just because investigators wanna get someone, they're willing to let someone like her go free in exchange for a testimony that she didn't even give.
For sure. Psychologically one really has to assume she knew something. What & how much I’d guess they have to interview her & maybe even polygraph. But that can also obfuscate the facts & truth so only when needed. If I was an investigating cop I’d’ve been interviewing her extensively for sure.

The most unsettling part of this case is that this probably would have gone on a lot longer had Charles Ng not been shoplifting.
Charles Ng got caught shoplifting in Calgary, Alberta. When he was in jail there, he was put in with a guy I knew, Maurice Laberge! Maurice had been in my home many times. He "WASN'T" a friend of mine, he would come over with my neighbour. Maurice always gave me the creeps, big time! This was before he got into all the horrific trouble he got into, and I mean bad trouble! Won't mention all of it in this forum. But he was bad to the core! Anyway, while he was in Calgary lock-up, him and Charles had some intersting conversations. Then I guess after some years I believe it was, Charles finally got extridited back to California. After some time, Ng started sending Laberge some really gruesome and graphic letters with drawings of brutally torturing his victims. I don't think he gave their names, just brutal drawings of his victims. And one of the pics was of the "baby" of the couple he raped, tortured, and murdered!! (Sick, demented physco.). To keep it short, Laberge wanted a deal with the prosecutor in Calgary. He'd tell what he knew from his conversations with Ng and give them the drawings if they'd let him out of jail early. He also wanted, it was either $25,000 cash and something else, just can't remember right now, but close enough. AND he got what he asked for, but he'd have to testify for the prosecution! Here's a freaky part...just before Laberge was set to testify, he was involved in a fatal car accident and was killed! Car went up in flames and they could only identify him through dental records!!! There's those that thought it was suspicious! I also knew his brother and sister. I heard because his sister took his death so bad, she walked into a lake and drowned herself! She was a bit older and had children!!! It's so damn sad how his life choices ruined so many lives.like I said, I know alot more about Laberge, but out of respect for the people involved, I'll leave it at that!!! Leonard Lake committed suicide as you probably know, after Ng got caught shoplifting, so the whole brutal ordeal was left hanging Charles Ng. And he's where he needs to be! It's just sadder and scarier when you know some of these monster's!!!

The ex-wife knew a hell of a lot more of what went on in that cabin besides what little she told police, and she sure as hell ‘Should Not’ have been given full immunity. Whether she knew before, during or after the fact, she knew about some of it. Why else would she sneak up to the cabin the night before, especially when the police specifically told her Not to. It wasn’t to “tidy the place up” as she claimed.

Lake’s ex-wife Claralyn, knew about his sexual fantasies & the fact he like to photograph young girls; she engaged in S&M activities with him & in one video (according to a post on Reddit) joked with both men about who they’d ‘disappear’ next. Our phone was bugged by the CIA at the time, but the CIA didnt stop them. We did see the CIA get involved in trying to stop people hitchchiking though and with this other serial killer it seems sthey warned people. Noone in TExas would listen though. Someone warned them. We saw that one girl get kidnapped at the beach by 2 serial killers and they banned all hitchhiking after that. They'd hitchhike up and down teh beach on Spring Break and they'd kidnap someone every year from there, too. WE also saw the other serial killer kill someone one night. The cIA doesnt get involved. Of course the films were real. So there were 20 victims in the back yard that means they sold about 20 videos or so. They advertised them as they'd use their name in a snuff film or whatever. Maybe it's that there's more to this case that they didn't mention. The part about the movies they were making. This one's shocking. These kinds of films. The victimes seem to be their neighbors and anyone they came in contact with. They seem to be using martial arts to us and just conquesting- stealing camera equipment when they want they kill for it. The woman with the kid was easy for them to overcome after they took her husband over for the video equipment. Those good cameras cost thousands of dollars. They were just renting them out though. Bet it was expensive and they were just selling videos for like whatever in the back of magazines. So they couldn't afford pro equipment for that video sell idea. Heard about this case years ago. Thanks for this informative video. This case was solved step by step with great work by police and detectives. So glad we have people like that who never give up to bring about justice.
why are you glad when justice is brought?
I can’t watch this, as soon as I heard there was a missing baby. Who kills a baby?!? Disgraceful creature. Cowards, hope they rot in hell!
As someone who collect books about serial killers and watched lotsa documentaries about them,i have to say Leonard Lake/Charles Ng,BTK,Tool-box killers,Toy Box killer,Dean Corll and Robert Berdella takes the whole cake.
There is something different about serial killers who tortured and keep their victims alive and let them suffer before killing them off.
I love to read also. I had book shelves of books, mostly true crime. My kids said if anything happened to my husband & police saw all the books about murder I'd be in trouble..lol..they were joking of course. ( he died 5yrs ago, age 70 from cancer)
But now only books I can read are on my kindle, I can enlarge the print. I used to get large print books at the library but it's better for me to just use my kindle.
I love documentaries like this but haven't tried to read books...can you suggest titles where I can start off?
U have to be like them to torture them
Randy Kraft is one of the absolute worse
Careful now. You don't want to sound like you are in awe of those monsters.
I remember this case, and I was just a little girl… He was apprehended in an area of fish creek where I grew up playing with my friends… So scary I lived walking distance from there.
He was camping in fish creek but APPREHENDED at the Hudson Bay company in down town calgary.. just pointing out the facts :)
The Ex wife was in on it for sure the way she protected the site and then asked for immunity
She needs old Sparky
wow, a minor robbery leads to a field of bodies!!
Ng was so violent he thought he can flash a silencer and steal. HE also sold drugs so he may have been high. It was a violent robbery. And he had that gun in the car. When he got caught stealing in Chicago he pulled the gun, too and tried to shoot the security guard. He was probably a violent hit man out of Asia where they have a- lot of martial arts. To go in and steal like that takes some nerve. A- lot of people do pety theft, but still- he did it out in the open. He was daring the guy to call the police on him.
Actually, Lakes wife and her big mouth lead to a field of bodies. If that dummy didn't mention the cabin.
I often think about how Lake assumed that police would find out what all he had done when arrested at the lumber store. Chances are, even with a gun charge, that PD would never have investigated further. Luckily for all of us, he made that assumption. Amazing how what appeared to be a simple case of shoplifting turned into catching two serial killers. Charles Ng had a great attorney, and might have gotten off on the actual murders, if not for Ng's arrogance when demanding to testify. Another "lucky for us" decision.
Yeah, pretty ironic given he was a so called “survivalist”. I remember thinking that at the time even. I lived in the Bay Area back then. My GF at the time was crazy about the renaissance faire (I was less so but went with her a few times) and apparently a few years Lake had a stand by the entrance with a “unicorn” (some animal with horn pasted on) so I’m sure I’ve walked by the person.
@@shader26 I am picturing him as a unicorn at the faire. Wow. Women would think how endearing he was which shows you can't usually know a serial killer just by looking at him. Who would think a guy like Lake would even be at a Renaissance Faire let alone dressed as a unicorn?!? I have never heard or read that before after reading & watching so much about the case. Thanks for sharing that. I live in Southern California and when I drove up North through that area, I couldn't help but shudder when I saw a similar area with a house very far off a winding road. They really did have a secluded spot. As far your GF wanting to go to Renaissance Faires, I felt the same back in the day.😁
@@vickicali yeah, I can still recall it dawning on me that that faire is a magnet for just folks like my GF back then, but also god knows. I don’t why but one time seeing a guy that had a parrot on his shoulder dressed as a pirate and being kinda loud and weird, specially towards the women also gave me a flash of insight, thinking “this is a guy you wouldn’t want to have around a woman in any secluded place” and it wasn’t Lake. Well, I don’t actually know as he was heaven set and bearded, but… yeah that struck me at the time when I read Lake had been at that faire.
@@shader26 The sheer terror & suffering their victims went through still really impacts me. They had no idea what kind of depravity they were in for when meeting that gruesome duo. It does make me think twice when meeting someone and I am sure it's the same for others who know this case.
I wondered that too but the police were extra alert- Wiki: The arresting officer noticed that Lake bore no resemblance to the photo on his California driver's license, which bore the name of Robin Scott Stapley, a San Diego man reported missing by his family several weeks earlier. The Honda was registered to Paul Cosner, who disappeared from San Francisco on November 2, 1984, after leaving his apartment to show the car to someone interested in purchasing it. The car's license plate was registered to yet another missing person, Lonnie Bond, of Wilseyville. The gun was registered to Stapley. He knew he was *****d.
Despicable people roam the earth. Lakes' wife was no help. Thank God, they discovered the crimes, without her help, before anyone else was murdered. Bravo to the cops for arresting Lake right away.
why do you call then despicable people? and what do you mean by "God"?
that is the most horrific case i've ever heard about, how crazy this person was, i cant imagine
I remember this trial and it's one of the most horrific cases in history.
Fr cost me nightmares especially after I saw some of the videos of the women that they were abusing smh sickening!!
With a physical video how could you possibly defend this dude in court
Why take 3 weeks??
Excellent documentary! I have watched several documentaries of Ng & Lake, none were as complete as this one.
Just beautiful, how the authorities worked so hard to recover the bodies of the victims and convict those repulsive criminals
why do you call them criminals?
The amount of work put into making this documentary is amazing from the ground work to the trial. Heck I notice that they even changed clothes during the trial I think its very neat little detail and is very rare to see that in a documentary. Amazing work.
Edit: I'm more praising the people who made the documentary not the uploader nor the current owner of the license (check their about page and you'll see all the licensee). Please read and comprehend before reacting.
It's literally an old doc re-uploaded it's really not 'amazing work' it's ATV doc that got uploaded by a legit looking channel like almost all of these documentaries and channels
Best or one of!
IT does not compute
@@matthoward7645 amazing spectacular out of this world a blessing from God this s video is the best
I'm so bombed with how much money spent to convict one person who has taken the lives of 12 innocent people. Good job prosecutors
Those typed prisoner slave rules are from 'The Story of O', by the way. Ng, Lake (and possibly to some extent Claralynn) were all sick monsters. Hopefully we can get more insight into this extremely twisted story in the future. Clearly unimaginable horror went on at the cabin for years with Lake and Ng, and serial killer duo teams are not uncommon (eg Hillside Stranglers)
@soulflower8697 why do you call them sick monsters?
I can't believe that the video of him and Lake with the girl next door and her baby was not enough to put him away. Unbelievable .
Like i always say people don't just disappear.... something always happens to them, either someone kidnapped and killed and buried them and so on.
There are too many wicked people running around free in this world This is why things like this are happening, when they catch them get rid of them, don't even give them a chance because they didn't give the victims a chance.
Yeah things and people get lost,..
But never disappear… 💯
They are somewhere 🤷🏼♂️
What scary Fu*ks those “men”!!
Thats false.. There are plenty of people that disappear bye there own free will.. Alot less now because of people using debit cards. And so many CCTV/Camras and smart phones.
If you would have looked at how many who actually run away from life situasions, Would make you understand why the police is hesistant at times
@@toprap88 Yeah i know but they still don't disappeared, they are either somewhere or dead, but to just disappeared nah.
take a life lose your life should be the rule
Wild all those girls in the pictures were still alive. They probably all changed their lives after finding out they nearly ended up scattered everywhere on the property.
I learned about this case some time ago and it is one case that has stuck with me to this day. What that jury would have had to have witnessed would have been horrific. What that baby suffered was the one thing that has sat with me, since. I cannot fathom the sheer anguish that mother would have gone through being witness to what that baby endured. To all who suffered during this event, I am truly sorry for what you went through.
What a sweet loving soul you are. ❤
@fjbon1681 why are you sorry for the baby? and how how do you define a baby?
I remember when they were arrested and the news actually showed video of a poor tortured woman and her husband. I still have that impression in my mind
I understand. The pair were so evil that I was curious to know the 'enemy' better and I paid for the Miranda Files but the moment a victim appeared on the video I just Knew this horror and the images to follow would never leave my mind. I never watched it and I thank God for that. RIP dear victims remembered with care and love.
@@jaslinc3371 its crucial for a lot of US to know the enemy and I get it. I've been studying this shit since the 80's and there have been books where I had to STOP reading, and put it down for weeks. I went back and soldiered through it but I'm a man and it was in print. For you to not view the sewer tape it was a good idea to quit.
You didn't NEED to see any more. You knew the score and that was your mission. I too, still close my eyes and just listen to certain cases as I don't need that visual either. I'm NOT entertained by the sick shit but I DO highly RESPECT those whom actively HUNT these bastards and bring them to justice. Take care and God Bless
@@williamtobin7282 Thnnks for your insightful reply. Appreciated.
@@williamtobin7282Once things like that are seen, it changes you. And not for the better. I've seen things I wish I could have removed from my mind. Whatever horrific thing you can think of, someone out there has probably done it.
This is the most horrifying, disturbing and evil encountered by humans who find pleasure in killing others.very sad indeed
I love your content! Very detailed as I've seen others with this case and you did a great job reporting this case!
I’m late commenting on this, but this is not original content made by this channel- it’s a television program that aired about 20 years ago on cable.
Too many people seem very confused about this, so I want you to know too! Haha
Cheers 🥂
I clearly remember this trial. I was repulsed then and I’m repulsed now. The depravity of some people truly amazes me.
I love the fact that it was something as simple and stupid as shoplifting, that finally ended the lives and freedom of these two killers.
These two and the ex wife etc were most likely responsible for a lot more murders than were discovered. Its a good job they were caught when they were or it most likely wouldve went on for many more years to come or hopefully they might have turned on each other.
I laughed out loud when the lawyer said part of a lawyer’s job is to make sure the judicial system is being fair. I didn’t say verbatim what he said but you get my point. 😂
Most lawyers are less than scum!$#. Representing these monsters.
@@debbypurcell6215 Somebody has to do it. The very bedrock of our judicial system is that every person is provided counsel. Focus more on the defense attorneys who are successful at winning acquittals for truly innocent individuals who have been scapegoated, railroaded or otherwise set up, and it helps balance it out.
A prosecutor’s job is to harm as much as possible the defendant, justice be damned
@@joanodom2104 Well put. You answered a very difficult question and I thank you for that as I too despise some of these greacy attorneys whom represent the sewer dwellers but your absolutly right in how it does balance out our justice system. Take care and thanks again

One can easily find themselves Binge watching UA-cam videos and keep them coming.
I enjoy making comments after or during viewing.
Great content and thanks for posting.
When there's so much evidence against a defendant and you got a public defender claiming their innocence you just know their career has failed BADLY and will defend ANYONE?

I really want to watch this one but I hate anything to do with sexual enslavement and torture. It's really horrible stuff and I know a little bit about this case and enough to know how horrific the crimes were but I still don't want to hear about it again.
The only thing evil Charles and wife (involved) deserve is jail, no parole, public population, and taste of their own medicine. My heart goes out to the families for the loss of their loved one 😥💔 RIP Beautiful Victims 💐🧸🧸🦋🌈♥️
With so many serial killers that have been caught, I've always wondered why these documentaries always cover the same ones over and over.... Smaller channels have information about people that i never even heard of
Probably because the particularly gruesome and complex cases get more views, as morbid as that is. I think the colloquialism is “murder porn”.
That Clair-Lynn gal should be afraid for the rest of her life.
Same for Karla Homolka.
The production value alone is criminal that we're watching it for free
It's criminal these reuploads get money for all the production value put in by the original channel and company not s UA-cam channel 10 yrs later 🤣
Production criminal channel value for free literally ads content youtube watch original derp
WHY AREN'T THEY WEARING GLOVES!!!! 😂😂Great documentary but ffs, don't pick bones up without gloves 😂
It's CRAZY that the system allows delays for over a decade! Cray-cray!
It amazes me how murders can take a life, but want theirs spares! 🙄
They are all COWARDS when caught.
“Through my training I observed it to be a silencer”. 😂. Lol. Super Trooper.
😂😂😂
The narrator is awesome
Imagine the loss of dignity in Ng's mind when he was made to wear a stun belt.
Good.
I believe this was the case where the jurors had PTSD
Poor people probably need years of therapy to recover from that trial. Sick fucks.
Entirely possible. A guy named Roy got caught and got life for a torture trailer he had and the fbi agent who was assigned the job of drawing sketches of the inside, WENT HOME AND TOOK HER OWN LIFE ! FACT so yha..if one sees enough depraved shit it can and will have long term effects on one's psyche. Hopefully they got therapy to get through the hell of it all
Horrifying to think what he wanted to use the table vice for 😪

What is wrong with these judges 😡😡😡. Giving a lawyer 2 years to prepare and letting him delay for 10 years
"Through my training , I knew it was a silencer". Impressive!
I know, I had to chuckle at that myself. It's not rocket science. 😂 Jeez, but I guess some folks wouldn't have a clue. Someone in LE should know without fancy training. 😅
