- Springfield Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. 2/25/2021 approximately 0030 hours. Baltimore Pike the Parkway Inn. Companies dispatched for a building fire. Police reporting a working fire and everyone was evacuated. Fire department arrived to heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor of a 50X150 motel. Crews made a transitional attack but were pulled out due to the roof collapsing. The fire heavily damaged several units. There were no reported injuries.
Love the security guard saying why does this gotta happen to me tonight. At 0:45.
That's the funniest s*** I've seen/heard today!!!!😆😅🤣😅😆😅🤣🤣
dude was ready to catch the liquor store before they closed. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆
Great video. Glad to see first due laying supply line as opposed to hand jacking it like seen in a lot of videos.
Great video sir!
Good job on the video.
Great Capture......
Looks like a vacant hotel, no cars to be seen. Not likely everyone moved their cars and no people can be seen.
Great footage Frank...and a nice job by the firefighters 😊
thanks
Frank did OK. The fire players sucked as usual.
Awesome footage, Frank! Really sweet captures. I was wondering: when you are scrolling the camera dial to make adjustments, are you altering the ISO levels? Really enjoy your work. Cheers from Ontario, Canada.
For the most part I keep the ISO locked at about 5000 and the aperture at 2.8 when I am scrolling i am changing the shutter speed. for video it bottoms out at 1/30 but when there is a lot of fire (light) I will bump the speed up to 250 to get more definition on the fire. Glad you enjoy the videos.
@@fwesnosk awesome, thanks very much for the clarification! :) stay safe out there
Looked like the first line had a good knock. Why were they pulled out to go defensive? What else was going on?
The roof was collapsing in on the unit, they eventually went back in.
i agree and asked the same thing
Try reading the poster's comments next time...
@@ffjsb What i saw was not a roof collapse .. just the natural progression of an active fire in the attic burning away the roof. If there was a fire load or an actual collapse i can see the IC backing them out and going defensive but in this case continue w the fire attack possibly from an outside position - i just think too many times IC are going Defensive when its over their heads instead of understanding this is not an imminent structural collapse. just my 2cents
@@Derekva40 This should have been a "Exterior Attack" from the beginning. Like 95% of the fires in the USA! You eliminate all Visible Burning Material through the doors and windows Before you go inside. It shouldn't be called as "Defensive Attack", it should be called, "Eliminating the Threat Quickly and Safely while using the least amount of water."
Great stuff Frank. Haven't seen anything from you in a while. You okay man?
thanks, yes i am ok just really busy.
@@fwesnosk 👍
Nice stop. There was a lot of potential for a major fire loss here.
Too many cut aways/ Hard to enjoy the video. Why not just let it roll for the first 10-minutes, so the we can observe how the firefighters first knock down the flames on the front side of the building. UGH!
did he say pull them out and go defensive on that? Can i politely ask why? Looked like they were getting a good knock on it
I believe they pulled out because the roof was collapsing, once it was in they went interior again.
Do not see why they did use a Ladder Truck. Roof Fires, most of the time do.
The truck kind of made it late to the dance.
That’s cooking there excellent clip brother
It’s crazy how this happened my life was saved by someone knocking on my door saying fire no smoke detectors went off I lost everything I’ve been staying there for 2 months we have yet to talk to management they haven’t even checked on us to see if was was ok this was a real sad situation
Sorry about you losing everything smarter.
motel is on fire
sue!
Deck gun??????
Lost art. Nobody knows how to work one anymore.
I was thinking where the first due pulled up after laying supply line they would blitz it with deck gun. Was in a great position to do so. Yes it is a lost art. 1000 gallons thru a deck gun puts a hurtin on a fire.
"Deck gun Kelly" of Boston would have held it with two engines and a ladder. Alledgedly.
Begging for a deck gun...
how come we that the deck was the thing to use while pulling hose
You dont even show the firefighters putting it out! All you did was make jump cuts. thumbs down dude
Valid complaint, I switched from video to stills and missed the knockdown.
Как вы работаете, у нас бы давно уволили
Big fire needs big water. Put the deck on that baby.
Starting to see too much surround and drown vs. going in fighting fire.
Love the new style gear. Looks just like street clothes.
That turned out better than I expected. Based on their 'lack of urgency' and pulling everyone out prematurely, I figured they would burn it down.
You are a prince of half-baked assumptions. How do you like your BarcaLounger?
