This video is a great example of what firefighters should not do. Don't get nearer to the vehicle then try and get masked up so you can almost get hit by flying object's. When you do start fighting the fire do not rush in as close as you can as firstly it increases the danger but it narrows down your field of vision and if the fuel tank suddenly goes then you have a better chance of avoiding the fire when it ignites. Lastly you have a big enough hoseline, knock the pressure down a touch and widen the stream just a little, it's far more effective and you have a larger surface area so it gets absorbed better. Stay safe.
