I had a chance to do the same thing. I was about 13 years old & my parents let me go see every band I wanted to, but I wasn't allowed to go see Ozzy because Motley Crue was just blowing up their Shout at the Devil tour opening for Ozzy. My parents said I couldn't go because of Motley Crue, lol. I never forgave Motley Crue for that sh!t, lol. I never went to a Crue show, but eventually I got to see Ozzy with Alice In Chains opening on their "Dirt" tour which they were blowing up as well. That was a great show as I never saw AiC again. I've seen so many great bands in their prime in my life, but I missed Ozzy in his prime. RIP Randy Rhoads.
@ And I never got to see AIC with Layne but I did see Jerry Cantrell solo in 1998 touring for Boggy Depot which was amazing! He had Chris DeGarmo from Queensryche playing with him on that tour.

Bob Daisly wrote the lyrics. He and Randy wrote the music. Ozzy had zero clue how to even sing it due to the odd time signatures. Without writers like them, Ozzy would not be where he is. They made him with great songs. Once Daisly stopped writing for him, his songs became so repetitive and predicable. The first two albums had minimal input from Ozzy....it was not him light years ahead, it was Randy and Bob. I hate even saying it because I listened to him for so long but it was everyone around him making the music. And whoever made that video should be slapped. That was such a horrible cut and paste of various concert footage and was not showing Diary. You can clearly see he is singing different lyrics and the band is playing way off.
It is not even a video of the song. It is someone who over dubbed the song to some random clips from past live shows. And the audio itself....he sounds like crap.
The guitarist is Joe Holmes. He played for Ozzy for a few years after Zakk and then Zakk came back to Ozzy at a later date. Joe was one of Randy's guitar students before Randy got the gig with Ozzy.
I'm a huge Ozzy fan. But....I saw him on new years back in the early 90s with Lita Ford , Anthrax and a few others. It was the most boring show I have ever attended. I guess they can't all be zingers.
