- Have a look at this new rear mini display for your Tesla Model 3 or Tesla Model Y. The passengers in the back now have the ability to turn on their heated seats in addition to controlling their climate. We can also control the music being played in the car or input your own media through bluetooth and apple carplay. This 8 inch screen runs on an android platform with the ability to add multiple apps through the google play store.

I’m gonna show you how to install this on my tesla model 3. It follows a very similar process for the tesla model y. I know this product may not be for everyone, but I like to showcase all kinds of accessories that may fit your lifestyle. I understand that most people may not use the entertainment portion of this new accessory, however the main selling point of this, in my opinion, is to control your heated seat while also adjusting the temperature and fan speed in the back without having to ask the driver. The added entertainment is a perk with the ability to customize it the way you’d like, as this is pretty much an android tablet but hardwired into your tesla. If you have children this might be a nice upgrade for you. You could add bluetooth game controllers to keep the little ones occupied on those long roadtrips.
Also if you need help installing most products sold by hansshow, you can leave a comment below and I’d be happy to help you. I’ve taken apart and put together many parts in my model 3 as you may have seen on my channel. I’m in the Savannah, Georgia area if you happen to live nearby.
So that's a general tutorial of what you can do on this screen, honestly looking at hansshow website the possibilities are endless. It’s an android tablet with lots of customizations. Also regarding the climate control in the back, unless it’s just me haha, I had no idea these rear vents would create two separate climate zones. I know in the front seats you can obviously choose two different temperatures simultaneously. But in the back seats, I had no idea. That should tell you I never sit in the back of my car lol. Anyways if you have any further questions about this install just let me know in the comments below. The range of products that Haanshow has come up with is pretty incredible! Savanna, Georgia, what an incredible place to live! I would definitely have you help me insert that connector into Tesla’s computer in my 2018 Model 3 if I lived closer to you, Evan! I’m almost 64 and I can’t do those on my back projects anymore because my fingers are bony and I can’t see things that are close and above my bifocals 🤓. I’m not complaining, it’s just happened to me earlier than in other people.
If I get it from Hansshow this device , can it be integrated with Xbox controller to play the games with the remote ?
Installed this and have had some issues with getting Tesla updates working anymore, have you experienced the same yet? Disappointing unfortunately, also did you get a decent sounding click when you connected to the main computer? Mine didn't click nicely like the Tesla connector.
Hmm,, I still get the usual tesla updates and my cord also clicked into the tesla computer.
How in the world do you take out that cable form the autopilot computer. I actually can’t do it, how did you do it
For the first time, I used a flathead screw driver to unclip it from the computer.
@@EMtesla1 Hey Evan, how do you use CarPlay on this rear screen?
@@myhd9693 Through the settings menu you can setup your phone
does this void your warranty?
no, this is all plug and play. It can be removed.
