Hotspot from your cellphone and does the Model 3 or Y have more than one cabin fan because you talked about the product like there was a separate fan for the rear seats? My 2018 Model 3 can only open and close a damper to the rear seats. I am not criticizing your video, I’m just trying to get a better understanding as to what is possible on my 2018 Model 3.

Hi Evan! Before I start the installation, do I need to power off the car? Or I can start unplug and plug wires without shutting off the power of the car?
According to other videos, the audio connects to the car via Bluetooth (for UA-cam video there is a small delay in video vs audio). Or you can connect to Bluetooth headphones instead.
The previous display they sold directly connected to the computer which caused many problems. But the OBD port is used my many other products to control various functions in the car. I think this shouldn’t cause any problems

I never had to power down the car. I just unplugged it and it worked fine for me.

please ensure the connector is fully clipped into position, it sounds like a loose connection.

No. You would have to use a hot spot.
Plugging aftermarket stuff into the cars Data Bus is not a very wise choice. Hannshow stuff has been known to cause main computer problems.
