Love my quickjack been using it for years. welded up some angle iron and made casters for it. That's the only thing I didn't like is you're dragging it on the concrete. Still haven't had the Tesla in the air yet with it no need yet.

Looks awesome! Is that film easy to maintain? I'm a lazy guy when it comes to washing my car and i don't have a garage to keep my tesla in... and always use my car for construction work...is this wrap just as easy to keep clean like paint is? Drive through car washes...etc

It's not hard to wash. the vinyl will self heal to a point so little scratches just go away. I do recommend ceramic

Looks great,but I have a question for you. I was told by a wrap place here in Sacramento, that if the sensors are covered it invalidates the Tesla warranty, so I did not have my Model 3 wrapped.
Is this not true? Really enjoy all of your videos!
I have wrapped many cars and none have this issue. Some material have a foil backing or metal flake in the color. One car had a sensor for 15 minutes and it went away after driving it for a while. My Y had satin PPF and Vinyl over them and I have never had an issue at all. I have heard of this but never came across it.

It can be on a white car but you will see some of the white in the door jams. It's not too bad I have teal blue on my white Plaid now
@@i1Tesla thx for reply. I can live with that, have a black Model 3 wrapped in grey metallic, and as you say it is showing at the doors, but black and grey metallic is not that stark contrast compared to white and deep matte black. :-)

When I read "matte dark black" I was thinking boring..... but after seeing the car out in the sun when you walked around it, the car actually looks pretty good.
Do you usually wrap the mirrors with 1 piece? Or do you cut it and go 2 pieces?
Thank you. The mirrors are in 2 pieces because of the sharp curve. but you don't notice it much or you can get carbon fiber mirror caps

So pleased that I took the plunge and went for it. My Model 3 is getting comments left and right. Thanks for all of the how-to content... definitely helped get my confidence up to try this. Can't wait to wrap my wife's Model Y when it gets delivered!

Great wrap Brian! Did you find the Quickjacks tough to line up single-handed? Thinking of getting a set for the X, they call for a 6000# unit because it is longer. Does yours seem too short?
I should have gotten the 6000. They fit the 3 and Y but I will need to buy an extension for the S. Easy to line up
