The Mig21S is very good and surely underrated. The missiles are a bit painful but honestly any plane at 9.7 only has access to 10G pull missiles and many planes don't have flares
the thing with the mig21 is that the missiles arent really gonna get the kills, bcs they are mediocre at best. the radar ones arent bad but the for some reason the radar wont lock on 9/10 times. but if u can hit with gun it shreds
would you say the su7bmk is still the best grinder for russia, im allready planning in advance on what i want to buy. also ive seen people post on reddit saying top tier prems like f5c and su7bmk only get 30% off not 50% off like i expected, can you at all verify that? im talking about what has happened in past sales as i do not remember and im one of those that leave and come back constantly so i skipped alot of sales. thanks))
@@jadejudies right now with all the aim9Ls and r60ms no if your trying to grind the whole tree get the su25 or su7 but the su7 is boring it will go faster with it tho
@@HoBroski the R6S are made to make ppl turn and loose energy, cus they don't putch any G's at all, the R6R is the best, you can fire head on in big altitudes like 4.5 km and some ppl will not pay attention, overall you can relay in your MSL 80% you kills will be with your canon
The r3s is shit, don’t try to use them in 9.7, the r3r radar missile is alright. You gotta be precise but most of the time the kills you get with them are in head ons. If your good at dogfighting or Atleast ok then you’ll do fine in the jet. But if your looking for a easy grinder and have no prior experience then you’ll have some hard times learning with it. I hope this isn’t too late and I hope it helps

I LOVE the mig-21s, the only thing that I can think of that's bad is if ur using the r3rs ur radar wont lock onto them 90% of the time below 2km.

The radar missles are the better ones as its all aspect what you need to do I just keep facing the radar to the enemy you want to lock then fire away

You're never going to get a meaningful radar lock below 2km unless you're looking upwards at the target. Better to take 2 R-3S and 2 Rs.
