I just found out this is a hybrid enviro 400. I absolutely love those things! Especially the rapid and constant acceleration of them, I swear if I could buy one I would.
Can someone please tell me what are the eyesight requirements for bus driving? I know your eyesight needs to be better than for normal car driving but do the medical people use any special equipment? Thank you in advance. Really enjoyed the video. London looks cool in dusk.
@@nanaSinfo Thanks. I had an eyesight test for First Bus a few years ago but was rejected due to me not being able to see some numbers on their machine. I can’t remember what the machine was called. Thank you. If that is the case, of just a normal eye test I will look into booking my PCV theory test and go for it. Thanks again.
@@nanaSinfo yes of course some drivers purposefully drive slow just to not get called by controller and or get overtime dockets and turns its really bad because TFL and the company reward slow driving
Well, it's the same as every other job. Just 2 things to have in mind that would help you stay longer. Take your time and don't take things personal! If you have these 2 things, you will be fine 👌
Lol, only if you have driven a London bus before or presently would you understand. There is what we call cultailments, this is where you are unable to complete a journey so you have to change destinations. If your on your last trip and required to change your destination, you can't change it on your Ibus, only your destination blinds would say your true destination.. That is why before you board a bus always look at the destination in front not only the route number.
I don't wear face mask in the cab because it's sealed and I do prefer not to wear gloves, I always sanitize my hands. Apart from been in the cab, I always wear my face mask but not gloves

The content will feel very rushed fella and passengers usually look depressed during rush hour so l won't recommend it.
Well it is possible but as Will said it will be rushed because rush hours is nuts. But I will try and make one around August. Fingers crossed

When I did my test I had an eye examination, it's same as the opticians

it deoends. There has to be no jobs open at NX to get transferred to another garage so its a bit tricky. But sure in the future

Thats what happened in the beginning of the pandemic. Things are back to normal now. It was to help with social distancing.
