Why do you keep shutting off and then almost immediately restarting the engine?

Theres a slight bit of delay between pressing the throttle and the engine restarting. When pulling out at a junction or a roundabout, every bit of acceleration matters and you can't afford to lose any time, especially in heavy traffic. By keeping the engine running, it means as soon as you drop the handbrake, you're off

@@MegaPepsimax As least in most cars, the engine automatically restarts as soon as you let your foot off of the brake, rather than waiting for you to press on the accelerator.

😄 You actually thought he was constantly stopping and starting the engine? It's the stop/start device that shuts it off to save fuel.

@@DavidR_192 I know, but every time it auto-shuts off, he instantly restarts it. Shouldn't there be a button or switch to permanently disable the auto-shutoff if you don't like it?
