Hey Dmitri! This kind of cooling system would be perfect for SEA countries like the philippines where it's blistering hot and air conditioning is expensive to keep on all day. Would definitely consider this if hp refines the kinks!
Would love to have this feature on my MSR7 in the summer months, we don't have air conditioners in Denmark, because it's only in recent years that summers becomes extremely uncomfortably hot, especially in my roof apartment. great for the summer
I guess it would be nice to wear in warmer climates
that very useful in my country because the climate was tropical and so hot almost every day
i live in Australia where it gets in the 30-40 Degree C (80-100F ?) regularly during summer and i have never had my ears get to uncomfortably hot or even noticeably hot with my closed back fostex th-x00 (which has large leatherette cushions.) without aircon sitting in a small enclosed room with my PC also heating up the room for multiple hours in a day. I mean its an interesting idea but just seems gimmicky. maybe I'm just used to the heat or whatever but even I don't need this. this has never been a problem for me. i know some people get really sweaty which I don't so there is probably a few people that would benefit.
Sounds like a Peltier-Element and those are quite energy hungry... what does that headset consume?
Holy cow, the mic on the GSP500 sounds amazing.
hi can you explain how, for instance, the gsp 300 is worse than your favoured seinheiser? cuz im confused about what the significant difference exactly is...
What keyboard do you use while you're recording this video?
My ears get burning hot for no apparent reason. To the point I have to hold ice cubes to my ears to cool them down and stop them from stinging. They'll be great for me. Plus, they'll make a nice complement to the Omen laptop I'm buying anyway.
In the summer in the uk hot sweaty ears was definitely an issue so I may pick up a pair when the price reduces a bit. I hope they sort out the software oversights.
I still think dmitri has the best sponsor segments. Granted this one was not as great but still. Also great vid man. I live in Texas and my ears tend to get very warm so I’m excited to try these
Thanks thanks 😎 what didn't you find so good about this ad spot?
-D.
Hey Dmitri! This kind of cooling system would be perfect for SEA countries like the philippines where it's blistering hot and air conditioning is expensive to keep on all day. Would definitely consider this if hp refines the kinks!
I kinda like this headset. Might buy one when it is revised.
I was just thinking about a water cooled headset and this came out just the next day
this is gonna be useful while gaming in Australia
*cough* *cough* 40 degrees Celcius
yes and Melbourne weather is so unpredictable
On sale at jbhifi for $99aud
With the driver specs I am willing to spend abit extra for the GSP 500, thanks for the review
could you take a usb power meter and check how much power do they actually take on the different settings?
Please do a review on the HP Omen Mindframe Prime, that's the next generation of the HP Omen Mindframe
It makes no sense to Canada, obviously, but think about southeast Asia or South America, with 35°C + ambient temp... that would be interesting
About to get these for my trip to Hawaii
Would love to have this feature on my MSR7 in the summer months, we don't have air conditioners in Denmark, because it's only in recent years that summers becomes extremely uncomfortably hot, especially in my roof apartment.
But I'm never buying a gaming headset, so oh well, gotta find other ways to cool down.
if they can implement this on a headset,it would be amazing if they could do the same to their gaming laptop lineup,it will litreally solve the one and only problem gaming laptop has.
I hope they make more of these. I think 200 is too much, I really wish it had wireless capability, even with a battery bank dongle.
Maybe have it closer 20c instead of 12? I imagine it's difficult to control the temperature to such a fine degree but it has potential in a future version with better software and hardware. I hate gaming headphones in the summer. And improve the mic a bit.
They didn't talk about the temperature. It's only 12 at Max cooling setting
I got these today for $75 new at Best Buy... figured I’d give them a shot
Is it worth it?
@@shaunconecone5837 Yeh they are good!
The mic wasn't that bad... But it's still a bit expensive. Small round earcups is a bad choice too. I hope they make them oval next time.
Hi! I just had my Omen Mindframe and I'm having a negative experience especially that my voice seems strange. :( I noticed that when I only have my audio, the quality is impressive. However, when I take a video, my audio sounds bad :< Any tips for this?
Which one is better Omen 800 or Mindframe?
*twists headphone*
Me: Starts sweating anxiety bullets
what light do you use at 0:00?
it's awesome!
I want a version that costs 200,- but comes with a decent mic and audio drivers, people say they are sub-par but they are much worse, it's barely usable. I returned mine and kept using my Logitech G Pro X wireless headset.
Hold this L for buying these bricks
