PERFECT BUSINESS JET USE CASE! U-Haul Eclipse 500 Departs Chicago Executive for Minneapolis.

This is the PERFECT BUSINESS JET USE CASE! Uhaul is giant small business. They have 23,000 locations, almost 200,000 trucks and 1,000,000 self-storage units scattered across the U.S. and Canada. I checked Flight Aware and this Eclipse is flown into very small markets, many without mainline carrier access. In this case, they are avoiding the congestion of a time robbing stop at Chicago O'Hare. Literally, they can be in the air before they would make it through ORD security. They'll land at Anoka County, a general aviation airport outside Minneapolis, and likely be at their destination before a flight from O'Hare would takeoff.
This 4 passenger very light jet is doubling the available time of its passengers.
A friend suggested I fly into Chicago Executive rather than O'Hare when I come into capture the big jets. Its it a lovely field. Great suggestion. Thanks Harry.

which is better to fly? Pilatus PC-12 or this one?

The Pilatus is bigger, carries more and has a lavatory. The Eclipse only has six seats, but it flies 70kts fast, climbs 1,500 fpm faster and flies higher. There have been a couple P12 incidents with ice due to the climb or ceiling. Don’t treat the Pilatus like an all weather airplane and you’ll be fine.

This is the only jet I would consider buying. it’s 2:22 for my to fly to IAD in the Cutlass. it’s 1:00 in an Eclipse 500. Handling at FBO is $40. it’s $340 for the Eclipse.
Big advantage is at 41,000 ft you can get over weather.
