So many videos have clickbait titles like this, but this one is genuine! I love your backyard engineering Hunter and I look forward to the next episode 😁👍
Great video! As soon as I saw that load for the trip home, I thought to myself "what could possibly go wrong with that?!?" Looking forward to the adventure in the next video!
I'm so glad I didn't look closer when I parked next to you. I completely missed the welded rods supporting the front truck. Stay tuned folk he does super sketchy repairs in Missouri. Welders and fuel don't mix.
My partner and I had a 1980 CL 9000, and boy am I glad there's a statute of limitations for some of the things that truck did. Our cab didn't chew gum, but we had air seats and a six foot spread drive axle.
So hyped to see you have a clean slate to go forward with your bigger projects! And awesome to see Falken hook you up with new shoes for the cabover! Can't wait to see the next video!
Subscribed. You carried Dave's recoveries to a new level. I can't imagine this channel will be anything short of entertaining. I already love the content m8
Might wa n t to think about attaching a chain to the frame and other end to cab lock! Worked on a lot of cabovers and never had a hydraulic cylinder fail but it happens. Freinds of mine that I worked with saw it hapoen. Worked 20 years as an ASE certified hvy/ med truck tech! Work safer/ smarter to be around longer!
Good to see you Hunter ,wow you had the oddest loads on a truck that I've ever seen lmao. But that why we like you Hunter cause you just GO FOR IT lol. Can't wait for the next video bro, and thanks for this one.
As long as your OK that's all that matter's. I'm so excited for the second part. You are looking real good Hunter. Life must be going in the right direction for you. I got to say that load was so technically loaded it was incredible. Love and Peace.

Love seeing a new video from you. This could have been 3 hours long and I would have sat and watched it. Lot of interesting stuff and I enjoy seeing exactly how you carry out doing things and moving your various stuff.
Great job cleaning up the wheels. I love the new Ford cab over these trucks are awesome. Very close paint style to are they a Ford factory paint scheme? Can't wait to see these tow together running. Nice work Hunter and good to see you and Dave talking getting alone again.
If I remember right then this truck and the trucker was going west and did have to change ALL tires on the truck on the way..... All where old and he bust it all of it on the way where he is going from now..... good to see that he is putting new tires under BEFORE the trip..... will follow this trip.
Brother your heck heavy hauler , I sold Mining Machinery In KY we had bunch outlaw truckers hauled lot crazy loads . Man if had 100ton beam trailer with nice HD tractor great side hustle. You got skills to pay the bills no doubt! Keep Rocking!
I bet this was quite the adventure...🤪👍 So since you showed us the first rendering (back when you were in UT) of the cab-over I've been thinking a lot about the front axles, twin steering was/is way cool !!! A buddy built a which truck with this configuration... The problem I think you are going to have is you won't get enough weight to the front to justify twin axles. It's likely in the end to hinder your overall weight capacity. Having said this if this is a dream to have this with the twin axles & steering I say go for it.... Just know it's not practical for the application.... LOVE the vid & content, at 59 I've learned so much from watching you fab things up, keep it going young man.... Great job..... Tim B
It's pretty rare I like it when a video gets cut up in 2 parts. But I can't think of a better excuse than multiple disasters 😂. I'll be looking forward to it! Love the motor home build as well.
Thought that range looked familiar....then there was the little clip goin' up Parleys...ɓeen out Kamas way up to Lilly lake with my now departed sister. Glad your future is lookin' brighter! Beat the heat...stay hydrated dude!
Hey Hunter, believe we passed each other going across Missouri on your way back. I was hauling a yellow monster "The Blaine crusher" I saw you and thought, wow that looks like Hunters cab over... but what would he be doing here in Missouri?lol
Like a show but I used to be a long haul truck driver before i became disableso be careful if you get DOT inspection they will red tag you for that cracked windshield I would recommend getting that fixed have a good one
I’m in the truck tire business and you gotta change the o-rings on the valve stems especially on those old aluminum Budd wheels. If you don’t it will cause a leak and that’s probably why you had one come off the wheel. Best of luck.
Truck driving school I went to had those cabovers drove a lot of them and then a rock company I work for had a few of them I drove quite a few of them and many other trucks I have drove no no more now I drive a power wheelchair. What fun that is. like the show very clever on the welding I'm kind of curious at what your axles weights came out to
God you remind me of me so much back in the day. I just love this channel always have and always will. You have a way about you that you get it done and you do it right actually. You are spot on with all your points all your tie downs and the way the load was created on that trailer is perfect. I just wish I knew what it weighed lol I would love to know what the rear axles are sitting at. Anyway going to go watch the second part now.😊

There really isnt anything wrong with how any of that was loaded. I am shure he was dodging scales where possible, but than again I have seen sombody get a ticket for factory applied dot tape on a brand new truck.

Yeah those old V-belts had to be tensioned PERFECT, otherwise they'd squeal like a pig & destroy your accessory bearings!

That was a factory paint scheme for the Ford CL9000s called "Soft Fan" design in the sales literature and available in several color combinations....
