PRP is defined as a concentration of at least 4-5 times base line. Not all systems are equal. Single spin systems that concentrate 1.5 to 2 times baseline are less effective. Love how you talked about the synergy of prp and HA fillers. Very helpful
Hi@@gordana3652, Doctors have different areas of expertise, practice focuses, and aesthetic styles, so it's important for you to find an expert in the area you want treated, and an aesthetic style that resonates with you. I hope this helps you.
Sorry but I respectfully disagree with you on which machine or system is better. I would want a double spin Centrifuge with proven higher concentrations of platelets and growth factors if I'm spending hundreds or sometimes thousands on series of procedures. Although I do agree Dr's technique and knowledge is the most important thing on getting good results.

Thank you for this video ! But maybe prp injections should be performed by Ultrasonography-guided cannula method for safety ("Ultrasonography-guided Cannula Method for Hyaluronic Acid Filler Injection with Evaluation using Laser Speckle Flowgraphy".) ?
That's great !! May i ask you in which case when you consider it is appropriate, and if in your opinion, it does reduce the risk close to zero ?@@AmiyaPrasadMD
I am African American and I have severe acne scars (ice pick & boxcar) on my face. I was told years ago nothing could be done which was quite devastating however, lately I've researched different procedures for those scars such as TCA Cross and Punch excisions. Today, I ran across the Vampire Facelift/Facial which claims that it helps with acne scars. I watched your previous videos regarding the difference between Vampire Facelift/Facial and which would be beneficial for pigmented skin (very informative BTW). My question is more specific to my acne scars. What would you suggest (if anything) that could at least reduce the amount of scarring on my face? Thank you in advance for your insight
Hi yoli598, Sorry to hear about your problem. I advise that you avoid any treatments that can cause hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation such as any laser or heating devices. Microneedling/Vampire Facial is possible, but for acne scars it can be fairly aggressive, so without a physical exam, I wouldn't recommend it outright. Elements of the Vampire Facelift are what a would recommend without a physical exam, as PRP can improve the surface of the skin, and fillers can help with lost volume and tissue from the scars. I could give you more specific recommendations for your case upon consultation. I hope this helps you.
Amiya Prasad, M.D. thank you for your insight. what do think of TCA cross for ice pick scars and could you refer a dermatologist in Kentucky or Tennessee.? I unfortunately do not live on long Island anymore
Hi yoli598, TCA cross can work, but you would need to confirm with your doctor that it is appropriate for your skin type. Unfortunately, I don't know doctors in Kentucky or Tennessee, but you can check on RealSelf.com and other sites for dermatologists in your area.
I suffer from puffiness due to aging. I wouldn’t consider my puffiness to be sever, but it is noticeable and I want to address it and I’m really indecisive on what I should do fillers or prp I was leaning towards prp but idk.
Hi Janice Morales, You don't have to be indecisive as the recommended treatment for your puffiness is best done by an experienced doctor who can perform different treatments, including surgery. It's not clear where your puffiness is, but PRP is not a treatment for puffiness under the eyes, but it can improve skin quality, thickness, texture, and color for under eye issues like dark circles. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi@@tinachxx110, PRP improves the skin from within, so it is a lasting treatment. However, several treatment sessions may be needed so results can build on the previous treatment. Also, PRP, or any other treatment or surgery, does not stop or prevent the effects of aging on the skin. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi, There are no dangers from PRP itself, but injections do have risks, which can be minimized or avoided by experienced doctors. I only perform PRP treatments for people who see the effects of aging on their skin, or are treating skin injuries like scars or acne scars, but I don't I usually don't perform PRP aesthetic treatments on people under their mid-30s. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi It's Outbreak, PRF is still PRP, but is used when the slower release of growth factors are needed for treatments like prolonged healing. I will have some new videos about PRF soon. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi menta move, I've been administering PRF for as long as PRP. However, I've recently changed to PRF that doesn't require the calcium chloride activator. I administer PRF when slower release of growth factors are needed, such as for healing. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hello. I had microneedling with PRP about 6 weeks ago and had PRP injected into cheeks to increase volume in area that has flatness. Unfortunately I still have a flat red dot on my right check from injection site.😞My cheek was pretty cold from ice pack before injection and I think this may be a broken capillary and would like to know if there are any treatments to remove or reduce this redness. Thank you 🙏
Hi Nikki Red, I suggest you look at pictures from before your procedure to see if there was a discoloration already there you may not have noticed. If there wasn't, and it still persists after normal healing, then it may have been caused by the treatment. Have your doctor examine it if it persists, and there is a possibility that it may be treated with a laser. I hope this helps you.
Amiya Prasad, M.D. Thank you for the reply. I didn’t have this spot before the treatment. It was error on the nurse’s part. Does Yag laser treat something like this or would another laser treat it? Thank you
Hi@@nikkired4552, I would have to examine your skin and the spot before recommending a specific laser, but an Nd:YAG laser is definitely a possibility. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Hi janna lee, It's not just belief, I've proven PRP can help with rejuvenating the skin, and I have many patients to attest to it. PRP is for the skin, while fillers are for facial volume, so they are treating two different issues. You can refer to this video about the proof that PRP works in rejuvenating the skin - ua-cam.com/video/UQ-6jIfa3zQ/v-deo.html
Hi Malaika Sheikh, PRP stimulates increased blood supply, collagen, and healing, but it does not stimulate oil production. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi @Cathryn Mcconnell , Biofiller is similar to PRF, or PRFM where PRP can be made thicker without an additive, or with an additive like calcium chloride. However, the volume of this type of treatment does not last as long as a hyaluronic acid filler. Keep in mind that hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the body, so hyaluronic acid fillers are biocompatible. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi@@jennyquezada9644, The volume effect of PRF lasts about two weeks, while hyaluronic acid fillers last 1-2 years, depending on the area of treatment, and appropriate viscosity of the filler. I hope this clarifies things for you.
You're welcome, Alleen David. I recently made an updated video on the topic which also includes platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), for your reference - ua-cam.com/video/5f7_CLtYzNY/v-deo.html
i have big eye bags, my cheeks are getting a bit skinnier (the area which is under the eye bags ,near the nose) because i workout a lot, and I got lines around the mouth. I wanted to get a surgery for my eye bags but the Dr said that he can only reduce the fat in my eye bags with a 50% and he suggested to give me a fat-injections in the cheeks (he said that i shouldn't loose weight or work out) but I'm afraid because i don't want to get big and full cheeks or to stop exercising ... plz Doctor do u think that PRP can help reducing the eye bags , volumize the cheeks a little, and reduce the lines & wrinkles ?
Hi Khadija Kix, The fat that causes eye bags can be sculpted and removed so it appears like you never had eye bags, as long as it's done by an experienced eyelid surgeon. I do it in a way there is not even an incision in the lower eyelid, so it appears completely natural. Our lower eyelid surgery patients return to work in a week, and can resume exercise shortly after that. PRP can improve eyelid skin texture, and even help wrinkles, but it won't melt the fat that causes eye bags. As for the cheeks, I still need to examine your face before recommending any procedure. You can review these videos about how we treat eye bags with concurrent cheek hollowing: ua-cam.com/video/46Kp6ayfyzg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Q0QiNH7LUVI/v-deo.html
Please open a practice here. I would feel so safe in your hands. I had a nose job years ago. Scar tissue disfigured my nose. Went to another surgeon for correction. Bit better, however the pock marks are massive. So unsightly. Do you think prp will help? Can I ask nurse to take from.varicose veins or spider veins on leg instead of arm?
Hi Cheryl Negus, Sorry to hear about your problem. An examination is needed to determine what treatment is best for you, since rhinoplasty wouldn't normally cause pock marks. I hope this helps you.
Dr you are always very helpful. I have a question; a few months back i got a reaction from a body filler/hyacorp. Will i be able to get fillers in the futurr or is it true that a body creates a defensive reaction to fillers after time ( i have had face fillers for years with no problems)
Hi LadyKay, The reaction may be due to the way the filler was injected, such as skin surface bacteria entering with the injection called a biofilm infection. Hyaluornic acid fillers are generally well tolerated by they body since hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the body. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Amiya Prasad, M.D. that was definitely helpful Dr. It means I can safely go back to fillers again as long as the injector is careful about technique and hygiene. Thank you so much for your time
Hi Ibty Albeity, I would have to see the scars before recommending specific treatment. Botox is made of botulinum toxin, but it's not actually dangerous when administered by an experienced doctor. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi @monaasmr2936, As explained in the video, PRP is not a volume treatment, but rather a skin quality treatment. Sagging cheeks that are due to age-related volume loss can have volume enhancement done with filler placed at the bone level. You can watch this video more closely for details, or this more recent video about it - ua-cam.com/video/o5WRIwrVeVI/v-deo.html
Hi Endang Widiastuti, It depends on the area being treated, the rate you metabolize the filler, and the thickness of the filler. Thicker fillers for areas with little to no facial movement like the cheeks or chin can last up to two years, while less viscous fillers for areas with a lot of facial movement like under the eyes can last up to one year. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi@@endangwidiastuti, Sorry, but I think you misunderstood my meaning. Less viscous fillers are needed in areas of movement and facial expressions because they need to move along with the facial expressions. I still recommend regular workouts for general health. I hope this clarifies things for you.
I was told that PRP would not help with wrinkles under the eyes. Is this true? I'm 29 and looking for under eye and mid face rejuvenation but don't want filler. I'm considering PRP microneedling
Hi Brenda Zamora, PRP may help you with wrinkles below the eyes, but it may not be the only treatment needed. I often alternate PRP with a thermal treatment like a laser or radiofrequency device. You can refer to this video about the different treatments for wrinkles around the eye area - ua-cam.com/video/PXMhY90TReM/v-deo.html
Hi Gusto J, We don't have set costs for treatment as it depends on the area or issue being treated, the extent of treatment, and it may require more than a single treatment session to build on results. Hi Malaika Sheikh, PRP is not a treatment for acne, nor a preventative treatment for acne. Acne is usually caused by hormones, excessive oil production, and obstructed pores. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi Taslima Kajol, PRP can improve overall skin health, skin quality, and skin thickness, so these effects last long-term, and cell turnover and renewal lasts for several months after treatment. However, to build upon results of PRP, several treatments may be needed, depending on the person. Also, since PRP does not stop skin from aging, maintenance sessions are needed, perhaps once or twice a year.I hope this clarifies things for you.
For under eye hollows and crow's feet, have you ever used PRP alone (or with radio-frequency) minus the hyaluronic acid fillers......and seen results? Does it really help with hollowness on its own?
Hi Val O, PRP is more for improvement in skin quality and thickness, so it can help with dark circles under the eyes, but it and doesn't make a big impact with volume if you have hollowness. As for crow's feet, constant movement is also an issue. Thermal devices such as lasers can help with skin resurfacing in both these areas as well. You can refer to these videos about treating under eye hollowness, and crow's feet: ua-cam.com/video/PXMhY90TReM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/VzzsbNDlaHQ/v-deo.html

Hye doc I did two prp and one co2 fractional within three months . And its been one month but still I haven’t seen any results. When will my skin form collagen , after how much time results can be seen
Hi Mahima Dhillon, I'm not aware of the issue you're having treated, as well as other details like your age, skin type, and how you respond to treatment. It may take several treatment sessions before you see results, but for a proper second opinion, and definitive answer to your question, I would have to examine your skin and your issues you want treated in consultation. I hope this helps you.
Hi, I am interested in the PRP. I discovered something called neogenesis recovery serum which is 75% human adult stems cells. Is this basically the same thing but not from your own stem cells? Ie is PRP stem cells and could I expect similar results if I microeedled the recovery serum in? I want to restore some loss volume loss from laser a year ago and improve skin. If i try microneedling with the serum at what depth should i go for under cheek hollows? Thanks
Hi Dandelion S, A serum with someone else's adult stem cells doesn't sound possible, or even legal, so I am very skeptical about it. I generally don't recommend microneedling at home because without training, people tend to do it too aggressively, and don't give enough healing time between sessions. I hope this helps you.
Hi Zainah vlogs, Yes, but it does depend on the area being treated. PRP and hyaluronic acid filler can be combined for the treatment of hollowness under the eyes, and dark circles. Both are combined for the Vampire Facelift, but with only one syringe of hyaluronic acid filler. Filler and PRP are also combined for issues like acne scars, treatment for lines and wrinkles, and others. A physical examination is needed to determine if you can benefit from a combination treatment. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi Pranaya Veer, PRP is for improving the skin quality, skin thickness, collagen, and blood supply and circulation of the lower eyelids, but not for hollowness. Under eye hollowness is best treated with a hyaluronic acid filler, and in some cases removal of fat causing eye bags. You can refer to these videos about treating hollow lower and upper eyelids: ua-cam.com/video/VzzsbNDlaHQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Q0QiNH7LUVI/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/dCDRBngaq60/v-deo.html

Hi Ajit Deshmukh, There are topical hyaluronic acid products available over the counter, but if you are talking about fillers, it is the doctor performing filler placement that determines the results, not the brand of the filler material. Injectable hyaluronic acid fillers are only available to medical practices. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hello doctor I want to ask you I have fillers on under my eyes but I still have bleue dark circles(viscular dark circles) u recommend me to do prp? It does not affect the fillers?
Hi Selma Kachal, PRP usually works well with hyaluronic acid filler, and in many instances is injected into a different level as the filler. Hi@@selmakachal6297, While carboxytherapy initially showed some promise when it was new, the results are not as predictable, and outcomes not as certain as what we can do with treatments like PRP and laser treatment or radiofrequency treatment. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi Karima Elbernoussi, I would have to see the issue you want to have treated before I recommend treatment or not. Generally, 31 is still very young to require aging treatments. I hope this helps you.

Hi@@karimaelbernoussi238, If your doctor has recommended it as indicated in your other comment, then I have to defer to your doctor's judgement as they have examined your skin, and your condition, while I have not. I wish you the best of luck with your treatment.
Hi C Ramlogan, There is a spectrum for rheumatoid arthritis, so the immunosuppressive drugs you are currently taking, and the degree of your condition needs to be evaluated before treatment. However, I have safely treated patients with rheumatoid arthritis with PRP. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Dr.Amiya, can you get fillers for hollow eyes after two years of having a blefaroplasty on upper and lower eyelids? Also my left eye continue having fat hernia, my doctor retouch it and it came back in small puff! Can the filler migrate?
Hi Belinda Diaz, Yes, you can have fillers placed in the upper and lower eyelids after upper and lower blepharoplasty. The amount of filler placed in the tear trough is quite small, and filler doesn't usually migrate very far from its original location, so there shouldn't be a significant problem even if there was migration. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi janna lee, I would need to examine you before recommending a specific procedure, but at your age you may benefit more from volume enhancement than a facelift, and perhaps a limited neck procedure. Hi LV lover26, Yes, it is usually safe to have PRP after filler treatment. I actually often combine the two treatments at the same time, and they work synergistically together to enhance volume, and to improve skin quality. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Our offices are located in Manhattan, New York City which you can call at (212) 265-8877, Garden City, Long Island at (516) 742-4636, or Vienna, Virginia at (703) 356-1446. I did Prp and it really worked, then after 1.5 months i did chemical peel and i got pimples, scars and my eye bags seem to return. Should i do Prp again. Please advise. Thank you
Hi san m, It depends on the situation, which I would have to physically examine. I do administer PRP to improve skin quality and texture, and for acne scar treatment (but usually combined with other modes of treatment such as hyaluronic acid filler for tissue loss, or laser treatment). However, I don't administer PRP as a standalone treatment for eye bags. PRP can improve skin quality and thickness of the lower eyelids, and treat dark circles, but it can't reduce or camouflage the fat that causes eye bags. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi Brancaalice, As an early proponent of PRP used in cosmetic medicine, I actually made a video about what you just said, for your reference - ua-cam.com/video/0dSQSTwYsow/v-deo.html
Hi Zohar Elyada, I don't use HiFU devices because they heat too suddenly, so I prefer laser devices that heat more gradually and have more temperature control. Both PRP and thermal devices induce collagen, but what I often do is alternate thermal and PRP sessions to induce collagen, while reducing exposure to heat. I hope this clarifies things for you.
@@AmiyaPrasadMD Can I ask also what would be the ideal gap between these PRP injections to the face? I did my first one this week and the physician wants to do the next one in two weeks time.. sounds a bit too soon to me...? thank you!
Hi joey_rooklyn, Strucutural volumizing is a technique best suited for facial cosmetic surgeons because it does require an extensive knowledge of facial anatomy and experience in facelift surgery to execute properly, as well as aesthetic sense for facial procedures that comes from years of experience in facial surgery. There are other facial procedures you can train in, such as dermal filler placement and other injectables like Botox. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Does PRP for dark circles due to thin skin and bad circulation (purple dark circles) works most of the time? Because I read that it works only at 30% in general which is very low !
Hi Manon Guerreiro, PRP can thicken thin eyelid skin, and increase circulation to help treat dark circles. Not sure where you got the 30% from unless it's a doctor who actually administers PRP under the eyes, and collected the data. While I'm not the first doctor to use PRP on patients, I'm among the first doctors who used PRP in cosmetic medicine, and my patient/clinical data does not correlate with that number. That said, PRP usually takes more than one treatment session, and there other treatments combined with PRP for best results to treat dark circles. You can refer to these videos about them: ua-cam.com/video/QBvjjvxPt2g/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/S6_nTRr1tio/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/jQUb67RpaAM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/RHJodb437o4/v-deo.html
Hello doctor, I had PRP two days ago. Everything else is fine but my skin has turned very oily to the point that I do not even need a moisturiser. Can PRP change your skin type??? I had mostly dry skin before.
Hi Jhumky Shumana, PRP does stimulate blood flow, and can also stimulate the oil glands, which may explain the changes in your skin. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hello Doctor, I am from India. I saw many of your videos. In few of your videos you have explained something under eye bag. Doctor, I have a small query. I can see eye bag under my right eye when I smile. How it could be treated? How can I share my pictures with you ? Please guide regarding this.
Hi Chaya Madhu, The bulge that appears under the eye only when smiling is due to the contraction of the eyelid muscle called the orbicularis oculi. It is possible to make it less visible by decreasing muscle activity with a neurotoxin like Botox, but is a subtle effect. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/CQ3OMnNsPt4/v-deo.html
Hi nerri ali, The effects of PRP last as it improves the quality, health, and thickness of the skin, so it doesn't fade like a filler, but it also doesn't stop further changes due to aging or environmental factors. PRP can require multiple treatments to build on results and for further improvement. Since PRP is a natural and safe material from your own body, there is no limit to how often you can do it, but you don't want to overdo it as well due to cost. A ethical doctor experienced with PRP treatment can help you determine how often it is needed, depending on the area of treatment, and how you respond to treatment. I hope this clarifies things for you.
lmao think about it, a centrifuge creates an outward force over a period of time. There is no fucking difference in the result between one centeifuge and the other given that both work reliably.
Hi Spital Helles, I agree with you, which is why I don't talk about PRP being better than others due to the type of centrifuge used. Other practices may focus on their type of centrifuge, but our practice does not make the centrifuge a factor in our treatments. I hope this clarifies things for you.
She’s very lucky! You are very “clear” with expertise explaining. I was searching for PRP injections or dermal fillers. Now I know I need both. Thank you

I suffer from puffiness due to aging. I wouldn’t consider my puffiness to be sever, but it is noticeable and I want to address it and I’m really indecisive on what I should do fillers or prp I was leaning towards prp but idk.
Hi Janice Morales,
You don't have to be indecisive as the recommended treatment for your puffiness is best done by an experienced doctor who can perform different treatments, including surgery. It's not clear where your puffiness is, but PRP is not a treatment for puffiness under the eyes, but it can improve skin quality, thickness, texture, and color for under eye issues like dark circles. I hope this clarifies things for you.
@@AmiyaPrasadMDis prp that needs to be done continuously? And will the results last?
Hi@@tinachxx110,
PRP improves the skin from within, so it is a lasting treatment. However, several treatment sessions may be needed so results can build on the previous treatment. Also, PRP, or any other treatment or surgery, does not stop or prevent the effects of aging on the skin. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Are their any serious dangers of prp? And what is the youngest age u would give/inject prp for aesthetic purposes? Is prp very expensive?
Hi,
There are no dangers from PRP itself, but injections do have risks, which can be minimized or avoided by experienced doctors. I only perform PRP treatments for people who see the effects of aging on their skin, or are treating skin injuries like scars or acne scars, but I don't I usually don't perform PRP aesthetic treatments on people under their mid-30s. PRF is still PRP, but is used when the slower release of growth factors are needed for treatments like prolonged healing. I will have some new videos about PRF soon. I hope this clarifies things for you.
hi,what do you think about prf.thnks
Hi menta move,
I've been administering PRF for as long as PRP.
Thank you 🙏
Hi Nikki Red,
I suggest you look at pictures from before your procedure to see if there was a discoloration already there you may not have noticed.
Thank you

And does it work without micro needling?
Hi janna lee,
It's not just belief, I've proven PRP can help with rejuvenating the skin, and I have many patients to attest to it. PRP is for the skin, while fillers are for facial volume, so they are treating two different issues. Does it treat acne and prevent fresh breakouts.
Secondly prp stimulate oil so this cause breakouts
Hi Malaika Sheikh,
PRP stimulates increased blood supply, collagen, and healing, but it does not stimulate oil production. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Do you use bio filler ?
Hi @Cathryn Mcconnell ,
Biofiller is similar to PRF, or PRFM where PRP can be made thicker without an additive, or with an additive like calcium chloride. However, the volume of this type of treatment does not last as long as a hyaluronic acid filler. Keep in mind that hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the body, so hyaluronic acid fillers are biocompatible. I hope this clarifies things for you.
@@AmiyaPrasadMD
How long does the volume of PRF last?
Hi@@jennyquezada9644,
The volume effect of PRF lasts about two weeks, while hyaluronic acid fillers last 1-2 years, depending on the area of treatment, and appropriate viscosity of the filler. I hope this clarifies things for you.

i have big eye bags, my cheeks are getting a bit skinnier (the area which is under the eye bags ,near the nose) because i workout a lot, and I got lines around the mouth. I wanted to get a surgery for my eye bags but the Dr said that he can only reduce the fat in my eye bags with a 50% and he suggested to give me a fat-injections in the cheeks (he said that i shouldn't loose weight or work out) but I'm afraid because i don't want to get big and full cheeks or to stop exercising ... plz Doctor do u think that PRP can help reducing the eye bags
, volumize the cheeks a little, and reduce the lines & wrinkles ?
Hi Khadija Kix,
The fat that causes eye bags can be sculpted and removed so it appears like you never had eye bags, as long as it's done by an experienced eyelid surgeon. You can review these videos about how we treat eye bags with concurrent cheek hollowing:

Hi LadyKay,
The reaction may be due to the way the filler was injected, such as skin surface bacteria entering with the injection called a biofilm infection.

Can prp restore volume in saggy cheeks
Hi @monaasmr2936,

hi Doc, how often we shuold inject HA Filler to maintain my face volume ?
Hi Endang Widiastuti,
It depends on the area being treated, the rate you metabolize the filler, and the thickness of the filler. Thicker fillers for areas with little to no facial movement like the cheeks or chin can last up to two years, while less viscous fillers for areas with a lot of facial movement like under the eyes can last up to one year. I hope this clarifies things for you.
@@AmiyaPrasadMD and how about routine workout, Doc? Does it will increase facial movement as well ?
Hi@@endangwidiastuti,
Sorry, but I think you misunderstood my meaning.

Hi Malaika Sheikh,
PRP is not a treatment for acne, nor a preventative treatment for acne. Acne is usually caused by hormones, excessive oil production, and obstructed pores. I hope this clarifies things for you.
How long does PRP effectiveness lastly plz tell me
Hi Taslima Kajol,
PRP can improve overall skin health, skin quality, and skin thickness, so these effects last long-term, and cell turnover and renewal lasts for several months after treatment.
Hi Val O,
PRP is more for improvement in skin quality and thickness, so it can help with dark circles under the eyes, but it and doesn't make a big impact with volume if you have hollowness. As for crow's feet, constant movement is also an issue. Thermal devices such as lasers can help with skin resurfacing in both these areas as well. I'm not aware of the issue you're having treated, as well as other details like your age, skin type, and how you respond to treatment. It may take several treatment sessions before you see results, but for a proper second opinion, and definitive answer to your question, I would have to examine your skin and your issues you want treated in consultation. I hope this helps you.

Ie is PRP stem cells and could I expect similar results if I microeedled the recovery serum in? I want to restore some loss volume loss from laser a year ago and improve skin. If i try microneedling with the serum at what depth should i go for under cheek hollows? Thanks
Hi Dandelion S,
A serum with someone else's adult stem cells doesn't sound possible, or even legal, so I am very skeptical about it.
I generally don't recommend microneedling at home because without training, people tend to do it too aggressively, and don't give enough healing time between sessions. I hope this helps you.
Sir can we do boht treatments PRP and Fillers at same time ????
Hi Zainah vlogs,
Yes, but it does depend on the area being treated.

Hi Pranaya Veer,
PRP is for improving the skin quality, skin thickness, collagen, and blood supply and circulation of the lower eyelids, but not for hollowness. Yes, you can have fillers placed in the upper and lower eyelids after upper and lower blepharoplasty. It depends on the situation, which I would have to physically examine.

Hi Manon Guerreiro,
PRP can thicken thin eyelid skin, and increase circulation to help treat dark circles. Hi Chaya Madhu,
The bulge that appears under the eye only when smiling is due to the contraction of the eyelid muscle called the orbicularis oculi. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/CQ3OMnNsPt4/v-deo.html
Hi doc, how often we can do PRP
Hi nerri ali,
The effects of PRP last as it improves the quality, health, and thickness of the skin, so it doesn't fade like a filler, but it also doesn't stop further changes due to aging or environmental factors.
