Hi @Maria_Shoaib, PRF is still PRP, but a thicker, more concentrated form. I generally use PRF if a gradual time release of healing and growth factors are needed. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi @BIG-T93, It's important to keep in mind that PRF is still PRP. Hi, EZ Gel is PRF, but mixed with the protein albumin, which is produced by the liver. This combination makes the volume effect of the treatment last longer, as volume from PRF alone would only last 7-10 days, while EZ Gel would last 3 months. However, depending on the viscosity of a hyaluronic acid filler used in conjunction with PRP or PRF, the volume effect of hyaluronic acid fillers last 1-2 years. EZ Gel is for people who want to avoid hyaluronic acid fillers, but hyaluronic acid fillers are already biocompatible and hypoallergenic as hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the body to retain moisture, and to lubricate joints. I hope this clarifies things for you.
@@AmiyaPrasadMD thank you for that clarification Dr. Prasad. So EZ gel just adds a longer lasting volumetric effect than PRF. However all the rejuvenating effects and other properties are similar for both products. That makes sense. Thank you

Hi @sanarora, Hyaluronic acid fillers can be administered without creating scar tissue. As explained in the video, PRF does not have the same strength as hyaluronic acid fillers, and PRF breaks down after two weeks, so it loses its volume effect quickly. I hope this clarifies things for you.

I just returned from a plastic surgeon. He told me that PRP would help my very minor lower eyelid retraction from a lower blepharoplasty I had 4 months ago. Will PRP indeed fix a lower retraction?
Hi J Ramos, PRP is a treatment for skin quality improvement. Lower eyelid retraction can be due to unnecessary eyelid skin removal, compromised lower eyelid support structures like the orbicularis muscle that was likely cut through in your surgery, and the lateral canthal tendon that may have been affected by your surgery, all of which PRP does not treat. Hey Dr. Prasad, I see PRP treatment for hair lost , is there any chance can use PRP from eyebrows grow ? I know people hair transplant to eyebrows , let's say not everyone want to moves hair they already have. does PRP work for eyebrows ? Thank you
Hi @VitaminCici, I don't administer PRP alone for hair loss as effects are limited, and many treatment sessions are required. However, our TrichoStem Hair Regeneration treatment with extracellular matrix by ACell as the main ingredient, and PRP as the activator has been used to thicken eyebrow hair. While eyebrows are not featured in the video, you can refer to this video about how our treatment works to thicken thinning hair - ua-cam.com/video/__xVT1sfAa4/v-deo.html
Hi @bartender4877, Yes, under eye filler can be done at the same time as PRP, or PRF because there is a synergistic effect for volume, and skin quality improvement, and combining the materials can extend the effective life of both treatments. Placement technique determines results more than the brand of filler. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/fwTBCiGGQs4/v-deo.html

Hi Dr. Prasad! I have a really important question for you, in terms of hair loss, what is the different between prp and prf!? Does PRF include ECM? Please help!
Hi Milena Gevorkian, PRF is a refined form of PRP. PRF does contain ECM as it's a separate material, and ECM is not derived from the human body. ECM is the main ingredient of our TrichoStem Hair Regeneration treatment, with PRP used as the activator of ECM. You can refer to these videos about the differences for our treatment from PRP/PRF alone, the differences of our treatment versus other treatments using ECM, and how are treatment is used to treat female pattern hair loss: ua-cam.com/video/vZAGaAssewY/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/9hZRv2NQ7SM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/2WhELyekG4A/v-deo.html
hi, talking about ha skinboosters, how do you compare prp prf to skinbooster resuts? are similar or ha skinbooster give much better satisfaction? prf give better result than prp? thanks
Hi Francesco Dedona, It's not a question of which treatment is better than the other, it's a question about which treatment is best for a particular issue, and best for an individual patient. PRP is still the base material in both PRF, and in Skin Boosting, but PRF is more refined and concentrated, and Skin Boosting is not as deep into the skin. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi @Dunstlookalike, As explained in the video, PRF improves the skin health and quality from within, so the effects don't fade like a filler, and results can be built on with subsequent treatments. That said, PRF or PRP don't stop the effects of aging, or sun damage on the skin. As for the volume effect of PRF, it only lasts about 3 weeks. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi @NinorahDeux, I do administer PRF for improving skin quality, but mesotherapy is not FDA approved in the US. Also, I do prefer more targeted, and customized injection treatments than mesotherapy that involves many needle pokes through the skin. I hope this clarifies things for you.
hi doctor i’ve had under eye filler done about 3 times and i want to get ez gel injected with a cannula, i went to a aesthetician and she said due to having filler previously i couldn’t get this done is that true?
Hi @lashannawilliams5707, It's not clear if the filler is still there. PRF/EZ Gel only provides short-term volume. If the volume from filler is still there, it would be better to have regular PRP instead to improve skin quality, and skin thickness, without having the appearance of too much volume. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi @KarolinaSo-xc4lq, It depends on the area that is being treated with PRF, and how the treatment is one. I have treated some cases of malar bags by improving skin quality with PRP, which alone doesn't have that much of a volume effect. PRF can have a temporary volume effect as it's a thicker material. I have also blended malar bags with hyaluronic acid filler so they don't look as prominent. While something similar is possible with PRF, or more volume from PRF can make malar bags look prominent, the volume effect of PRF only lasts about 3 weeks. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi Ruqaiya H, It’s important to remember that the particular device does not determine results, or causes complications, but rather the experience and judgment of the doctor using the device. The device is just a tool, and it’s the doctor’s judgment using the tool that separates great results from ineffectiveness, or potential complications. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/kZuz3PoTi0I/v-deo.html
Doctor I have dark hallow under eyes, can I get both prf for skin quality and ez gel for volume if so how much time it takes so the ez gel dissolve ?? (I got filler before but I didn’t like resultes after a while cause it immegrates so I had to dissolve it)
Hi @choubeila2996, The volume effect of EZ Gel would only last about 3 months, and volume of effect of PRF would only last about 3 weeks, while filler should last about a year. It's important to remember that results of filler, or migration of filler are mostly due to the technique of the doctor injecting it, not the material itself. If you had trouble with filler migrating in the past, then you need to see a doctor with better filler placement technique. I just made a video about it, for your reference - ua-cam.com/video/mqRstbLccO4/v-deo.html

Hi Charan Preet, Sorry to hear about your problem. It may be a little late since you had the surgery over a year ago, but you should have followed up with your surgeon soon after surgery. Any surgeon experienced in ptosis surgery knows that additional enhancement is sometimes needed because it is such a precise surgery. Your surgeon should have a revision policy in place for eyelid ptosis correction as it is the nature of this surgery to sometimes need further work soon after healing. Since it has been some time since your surgery, you may require another surgery for further correction. I hope this helps you.
Hi@@charanpreet7748, OK, but I can't provide you any more guidance unless you come in for a physical evaluation so I can make a proper second opinion. I hope you understand.
Hi RB🦋 , Yes, you should see a doctor. While some temporary inflammation is expected after PRP treatment due to trauma, significant swelling can be a potential issue, and should be properly diagnosed by a doctor to determine the cause. I hope can see a doctor as soon as possible for a diagnosis.
Hello and thank you for your very informative videos ! I wanted to know if prp could work on thighs skin for example, when it's a little bit crepey and loose (but no excess of skin at all: just a problem of texture): can it tighten the skin ?
Hi @NinorahDeux, Loose thigh skin is often treated with a laser to tighten, and tone the skin. What I often do is alternate PRP between laser treatments to still induce collagen, but also reduce exposure to heat. PRP alone may not be enough to get the results you want, so you can consider alternate treatments as well like thermal skin tightening. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Thank you very much ! But i confess i'm too afraid of thermal treatments, as i read many scaring reviews: i'm skinny already so i want to keep my fat to any price :D @@AmiyaPrasadMD
Hi@@NinorahDeux, Your apprehension is understandable, but it’s important to understand that results, or complications are determined by the judgment, experience, and skill of the doctor or practitioner using the device, not the device itself. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/kZuz3PoTi0I/v-deo.html
You're welcome,@@NinorahDeux. With laser and other treatments, just make sure you are with an experienced doctor. If you have darker ethnic skin, a radiofrequency treatment may be better to prevent hyperpigmentation. Best of luck with your treatment!

Hi Amiya, @@AmiyaPrasadMD But restylane is really expensive compared to the amount injected. Restyle didn't work for me because the amount injected is so so so little.
Hi@@Kirmukarmu, I see my patients again two weeks after filler treatment to see how the material has settled, and if a little more enhancement is needed. If too little was applied, then your doctor can apply more, if it is still within your budget. It is better to be conservative at first, and add a little more later if needed, than to use too much, and have to dissolve it all, and start all over again. This is a less costly approach as it uses less filler material, as well as the extra procedure to dissolve filler. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi Dalia Around the world, Sorry, I only practice in the East Coast of the US as I can better care for my patients without so much time spent traveling.
Hi FF ID Sale low price, Finasteride is primarily for slowing hair thinning, but some men may get some hair growth, depending on their level of DHT-sensitivity. Men with high DHT-sensitivity often don't see the results of finasteride, but the result is slowing their hair loss progression which would be faster and more aggressive without it. I hope this clarifies things for you.

PRF can't mix as well as PRP with extracellular matrix by ACell which we use in our TrichoStem Hair Regeneration treatment. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi @Kimberlysalchemy, Fat grafting under thin lower eyelid skin is highly prone to complications. Filler treatment can still be done with people with those conditions, but I would need to assess their individual situations first before recommending filler treatment. I hope this clarifies things for you.
I just returned from a plastic surgeon. He told me that PRP would help my very minor lower eyelid retraction from a lower blepharoplasty I had 4 months ago. Will PRP indeed fix a lower retraction?
Hi J Ramos,
PRP is a treatment for skin quality improvement. Lower eyelid retraction can be due to unnecessary eyelid skin removal, compromised lower eyelid support structures like the orbicularis muscle that was likely cut through in your surgery, and the lateral canthal tendon that may have been affected by your surgery, all of which PRP does not treat. You can refer to these videos on the causes, and specialized repair of lower eyelid retraction:

Hey Dr. Prasad, I see PRP treatment for hair lost , is there
any chance can use PRP from eyebrows grow ? I know people hair transplant to eyebrows , let's say not everyone want to moves hair they already have. does PRP work for eyebrows ? Thank you
Hi @VitaminCici,
I don't administer PRP alone for hair loss as effects are limited, and many treatment sessions are required.

Thank you, Jax. I'm glad you found the video informative.
Do you preform the fillers placement the same day as the prf / prp? And what’s the best filler for undereyes?
Hi @bartender4877,
Yes, under eye filler can be done at the same time as PRP, or PRF because there is a synergistic effect for volume, and skin quality improvement, and combining the materials can extend the effective life of both treatments.
Placement technique determines results more than the brand of filler. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/fwTBCiGGQs4/v-deo.html
Hello I have a history: face lift June of 2022; resulted in infection mycobacterium Chelonae. I was sent to infectious disease; on medication for a year and Plastic Surgeon wants to redo lower face. What are my cautions about? I do not feel comfortable about this. My neck is swollen and disfigure. Thank you I have consulted with you by phone a year ago; love your information videos.
Hi debbie wagner,

Dr PARSAD, what do you think of the EZ GEL? Is it more expensive than PRF and is it worth it? thnx;-))
Hi @kiramiftari9486,
EZ Gel is basically PRF, which still does not provide a lasting volume effect that can replace hyaluronic acid fillers. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi Dr. Prasad! I have a really important question for you, in terms of hair loss, what is the different between prp and prf!? Does PRF include ECM? Please help!
Hi Milena Gevorkian,
PRF is a refined form of PRP. PRF does contain ECM as it's a separate material, and ECM is not derived from the human body. ECM is the main ingredient of our TrichoStem Hair Regeneration treatment, with PRP used as the activator of ECM. You can refer to these videos about the differences for our treatment from PRP/PRF alone, the differences of our treatment versus other treatments using ECM, and how are treatment is used to treat female pattern hair loss:

hi, talking about ha skinboosters, how do you compare prp prf to skinbooster resuts? are similar or ha skinbooster give much better satisfaction? prf give better result than prp? thanks
Hi Francesco Dedona,
It's not a question of which treatment is better than the other, it's a question about which treatment is best for a particular issue, and best for an individual patient. PRP is still the base material in both PRF, and in Skin Boosting, but PRF is more refined and concentrated, and Skin Boosting is not as deep into the skin. I hope this clarifies things for you.
May I ask how long the PRF effects last? Thank you !
Hi @Dunstlookalike,
As explained in the video, PRF improves the skin health and quality from within, so the effects don't fade like a filler, and results can be built on with subsequent treatments. That said, PRF or PRP don't stop the effects of aging, or sun damage on the skin. As for the volume effect of PRF, it only lasts about 3 weeks. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hello doctor, why not using PRF with mesotherapy technique to tighten skin ?
Hi @NinorahDeux,
I do administer PRF for improving skin quality, but mesotherapy is not FDA approved in the US. Also, I do prefer more targeted, and customized injection treatments than mesotherapy that involves many needle pokes through the skin. I hope this clarifies things for you.
@@AmiyaPrasadMD Thank you !

hi doctor i’ve had under eye filler done about 3 times and i want to get ez gel injected with a cannula, i went to a aesthetician and she said due to having filler previously i couldn’t get this done is that true?
Hi @lashannawilliams5707,
It's not clear if the filler is still there. PRF/EZ Gel only provides short-term volume. If the volume from filler is still there, it would be better to have regular PRP instead to improve skin quality, and skin thickness, without having the appearance of too much volume. I hope this clarifies things for you.
@@AmiyaPrasadMD Thank you doctor

Can you do prf while having malar bags caused by oedema, or the oedema from prf procedure worsen malar bags?
Hi @KarolinaSo-xc4lq,
It depends on the area that is being treated with PRF, and how the treatment is one.
Can you please doctor talk about onda body contouring is it really effective
Hi Ruqaiya H,
It’s important to remember that the particular device does not determine results, or causes complications, but rather the experience and judgment of the doctor using the device. The device is just a tool, and it’s the doctor’s judgment using the tool that separates great results from ineffectiveness, or potential complications. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/kZuz3PoTi0I/v-deo.html
Great explanation
Thank you, @BlessedLife291. I'm glad the video answered your previous question.
Doctor I have dark hallow under eyes, can I get both prf for skin quality and ez gel for volume if so how much time it takes so the ez gel dissolve ?? (I got filler before but I didn’t like resultes after a while cause it immegrates so I had to dissolve it)
Hi @choubeila2996,
The volume effect of EZ Gel would only last about 3 months, and volume of effect of PRF would only last about 3 weeks, while filler should last about a year.

I have the question in march 2022 i had done with my ptosis surgery but still i have problem that my one eye is half open while sleeping and sometimes the operated eye looks more open and the other eye looks droopy please can you guide me ??🥺🥺i am very disappointed
Sorry for the wrong english🥺
I hope you replied❤️❤️
Hi Charan Preet,
Sorry to hear about your problem.
@@AmiyaPrasadMD but my doctor said that there is no need of revision surgery as the measurement of eyes are same
Hi@@charanpreet7748,
OK, but I can't provide you any more guidance unless you come in for a physical evaluation so I can make a proper second opinion. I hope you understand.
My eyes fillers are sowllen after facial prp . Is this normal or should i visit doctor?
Hi RB🦋 ,
Yes, you should see a doctor.
Hi @NinorahDeux,
Loose thigh skin is often treated with a laser to tighten, and tone the skin.
Hi@@NinorahDeux,
Your apprehension is understandable, but it’s important to understand that results, or complications are determined by the judgment, experience, and skill of the doctor or practitioner using the device, not the device itself. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/kZuz3PoTi0I/v-deo.html
Thank you very much for those informations ! I will reconsider laser now.@@AmiyaPrasadMD
You're welcome,@@NinorahDeux. With laser and other treatments, just make sure you are with an experienced doctor. If you have darker ethnic skin, a radiofrequency treatment may be better to prevent hyperpigmentation. Best of luck with your treatment!

Do you like sculptra under the eyes and for nasiolabial folds?
Hi Niko Paz,
Since Sculptra uses a biological reaction for the body to create its own volume, the results are not as predictable or precise as hyaluronic acid fillers. Would you use a mix of restalyne and PRF?
Hi @kelljA,
Yes, the results featured on the video thumbnail feature a mix of Restylane and PRP to improve volume, skin quality, and to also extend the effective life of both materials. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Hi Amiya, @@AmiyaPrasadMD But restylane is really expensive compared to the amount injected. Restyle didn't work for me because the amount injected is so so so little.
Hi@@Kirmukarmu,
I see my patients again two weeks after filler treatment to see how the material has settled, and if a little more enhancement is needed.
Hey doctor do you come to Dubai?
Hi Dalia Around the world,
Sorry, I only practice in the East Coast of the US as I can better care for my patients without so much time spent traveling.
Can I expect regrowth in hairline after using finastride
Hi FF ID Sale low price,
Finasteride is primarily for slowing hair thinning, but some men may get some hair growth, depending on their level of DHT-sensitivity. Men with high DHT-sensitivity often don't see the results of finasteride, but the result is slowing their hair loss progression which would be faster and more aggressive without it. I hope this clarifies things for you.

To lighten dark circles and improve skin quality, do you prefer PRP or PRF?
Regards from Portugal!
Hi @pedro_ferreirinha,
Either can be used, depending on the patient. PRP or PRF can be combined with other modalities such as laser or radiofrequency for further treatment of discoloration, and added collagen stimulation. PRF won't replace HA, however it is much better then PRP
Hi @mokar0873,
It depends on the situation as PRF is not a replacement for PRP in all situations, and PRF is still PRP. PRF is used in situations when slower release of wound healing, and growth factors are needed. PRF can't mix as well as PRP with extracellular matrix by ACell which we use in our TrichoStem Hair Regeneration treatment. I hope this clarifies things for you.
Filler migrates and causes major swelling issues for many people. I think nanofat is a much better solution than filler.
Hi @Kimberlysalchemy,
Fat grafting under thin lower eyelid skin is highly prone to complications. I know this because doctors who recommend and perform the procedure can't remove the grafted fat when complications occur, so their patients end up seeing an eyelid specialist like me to surgically remove it. You can refer to these videos about it:

I don't want toxic plastic fillers they are so out now . Moving to better safer technologies
Hi @estelled389,
I only use hyaluronic acid fillers, and hyaluronic acid is naturally present and produced by the body to lubricate joints, and retain moisture in the skin, so hyaluronic acid is the safer technology. I don't recommend or administer PMMA (polymethyl-methacrylate) fillers, or "plastic" filler as you describe, but I have removed it for patients when they were placed by other doctors. You can refer to this video about it - ua-cam.com/video/CZJ05rjav3s/v-deo.html
