I’m forever grateful for growing up in a time where people were still watching Old Western movies. Ennio Morricone was a genius and his music will live forever. RIP 🙏🏻💜
I’m 50 and just watched this with my 11 year old son. A hard enough watch for him not because of the violence because video games are. worse but because of pure raw emotion. A time when actors were allowed to just act. Long silences made us think and music made us cry.
When you get this many views of the last minutes of a movie, you know it's a great movie. And though their time lives have passed, we remember these great actors.
If you haven't seen this film already then make a point of doing so. Possibly the best western ever made, it's nothing less than a work of art from beginning to end. And the soundtrack ? Right out of the top drawer - nothing less than a masterpiece.
The finest Western ever made, in my opinion. If Shakespeare wrote a Western, this would be it. A brilliant story, incredible soundtrack, breathtaking cinematography, and the most under rated director of all time - Sergio Leone - milking every ounce of power and glory and heartbreak out of every scene. And then there's Henry Fonda, in one of the greatest performances of his career as the icy killer Frank. And yes, Claudia Cardinale, one of film's greatest beauties. And Bronson at his best, and Jason Robards, and all those amazing faces that fill up the canvas. No one will ever equal this.
Yes Yes, i keep coming back to this film, i keep wanting more, it's very deeply moving charles bronson one of my favorite actors and yes claudia is amazingly beautiful. The film was introduced to me by a man called LOU. GOD REST HIS SOUL. HE WILL LIVE FOREVER THROUGH THIS FILM
I agree with you completely. This is the most beautiful and touching music that i have ever heard and the film is without doubt the finest western ever, The finale moved me to tears. God bless all concerned in this masterpiece.
Every time I have lost my faith in humanity, I listen to this angelic piece of music beautifully composed by Ennio Morricone. It's gentle unwavering ethereal notes bring me back to a time of purity and innocence that we have sadly lost. My fervent prayer is that someday we will return just as Jill did in the movie to a place of inspiration and hope for a brighter more civilized future.

Years ago my mother who is now 88 years old and still sharp watched this movie with a couple of my brothers and myself: We are all home on leave from Iraq and Afghanistan. When this scene came on She said something that none of us ever forgot. She said point blank "That is the way your father and I were and there is no way that that man would walk out of my house. If he did I would get a horse and follow him anywhere!!!!!." My mom and my dad were married for over 60 years before he passed away. I saw what their love was like So I can completely relate to what she said.
The very best western movie ever made! Excellent real actors no phonies here. Most were WW2 vets that allowed us to stay free. Claudia was so beautiful!!! Absolutely very best most beautiful music ever!!!! May God Bless every one of their souls...
One of the most beautiful soundtrack that I have ever Heard and the same for the movie: Morricone and Sergio Leone: TWO NUMBERS ONE. The actors are perfect too.
The Velvet and Beautiful voice of the great Italian Soprano Ms. Edda Dell' Orso's voice rises above the orchestra as though it reaches the Heavens...Just Beautiful. One of the greatest musical scores ever written for a movie by the late Great Italian Maestro Legendary Ennio Morricone. The great music score helped to make this the Greatest Western Movie ever made. Priceless!

I’m 50 and just watched this with my 11 year old son. A hard enough watch for him not because of the violence because video games are. worse but because of pure raw emotion. A time when actors were allowed to just act. Long silences made us think and music made us cry.
Happy times❤
46 years and nothing has changed. STILL the best - story, acting, music and CC.
❤❤❤
When you get this many views of the last minutes of a movie, you know it's a great movie. And though their time lives have passed, we remember these great actors.
CC is still here........and making movies.Almost 80 and with 130+ films to her credit, she's going strong.
Best western ever! I have probably watched it 50 times (DVD)
If you haven't seen this film already then make a point of doing so.
Possibly the best western ever made, it's nothing less than a work of art from beginning to end. And the soundtrack ? Right out of the top drawer - nothing less than a masterpiece.
Haven't watched this, but always thought The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly was the best.
@@tommyharris5817 different types of films - both are the best at individual aspects, tough to say who’s “aspects” are better
Este filme e o "Shane",marcaram a minha adolescência..Abraço de Guimarães,Portugal...
Totally agree 💯
Yes, an absolute masterpiece in all respects.
God bless all concerned in this masterpiece.
sigalit menashe can you get me some water? I get thirsty of you ;)

Absolutely ❤
Such sadness in this music with a hint of hope in the future filtering through it! Just works so well in many levels!!!
This is one of the finest movies of all time.
Best theme music EVER in a western, beautiful!!
👋i hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness prosperity love and peace 💞❤️🕊️🕊️ all over the world! Happy New year 🎆 🙏🌍
I'm originally from Canada currently living in California ☀️☀️and you where are you from if i may ask?

You made me cry. Thats exactly my thoughts. You wrote it down so beautifully. Thank you.
Couldn't agree more ..
Its not something we have lost, the good and the bad will always be here its just the bad seems to have more media coverage
This was my Dad's favorite movie. The music is such a great part of it. I always think about him when this is on. He has passed 30 years ago. I miss him dearly.
In my opinion this film has got to be the best ever, and Ennio Morricone the best theme music ever.
Absolutely ❤
The greatest Western of all time and the most heart felt sound track. This will be with me when my time is up and I take to the stairway to heaven.

Ennio Morricone's music just twist into my heart every time I listen to this tune...
Still stops me in my tracks every time .
Claudia is so beautiful.
I agree 100% Great story, brilliant actors and acting, and the music cannot ever be outdone. A true masterpiece 🍻🥂
Yes just naturally beautiful, untouched by cosmetic surgery and no heavy make up. Claudia is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen on screen. Shame there's not many like her these days.
Watched this movie as a kid (50+ years ago), this ending really struck a chord with me.
Mr Charles Bronson, an icon on the screen. What a fantastic ending of a great movie and the music, mamma mia, i cry when i see and hear this.
What a magnificent western opera!!!

Totally agree!!!😊
Everything about this movie is a masterpiece.
Years ago my mother who is now 88 years old and still sharp watched this movie with a couple of my brothers and myself: We are all home on leave from Iraq and Afghanistan. When this scene came on She said something that none of us ever forgot. She said point blank
"That is the way your father and I were and there is no way that that man would walk out of my house. If he did I would get a horse and follow him anywhere!!!!!."
My mom and my dad were married for over 60 years before he passed away.
We miss them but got happy memories film. Theme tune. R.I.P.❤
One of the most beautiful soundtrack that I have ever Heard and the same for the movie: Morricone and Sergio Leone: TWO NUMBERS ONE. The actors are perfect too.
Probably the best western ever made, the music is mind blowing
The music, story, actors, and the scenery absolutely fantastic. Claudia Cardinale wow! wow!
Esse filme foi filmado na Espanha!
Just amazing. just listen, see and feel the emotion
I have played this music over and over and over.never tire of it. greatest music ever written
The best soprano I have ever heard in my life
please you must heard Patricia Janeckova..
Priceless!
The films were stand-alone, brilliant but enhanced magically by the music. Fabulous combination. I've really gotten to appreciate Westerns more as I've got older.
One of my all time favorite films! The score is magnificent.
+molarmama32 This is the music people hear when they die. It has to be.
SuperWillHatch True.
I hope so.
