This 2012 performance from her is one of the clips I return to the most on all of UA-cam, and I was so shocked at the news of her death. My deepest condolences to all those closest to her. The celestial choir has gained an amazing soul and now the most spectacular voice among the angels.
Of course, I didn't know her personally. But I can testify to the joy I felt at hearing her sing this. Lile you, this is my favorite rendition of this piece.

I hadn't shed tears since my wife died Nov 2019 but the tears flowed down my face once more when I read the tragic news of losing this wonderful, angelic young singer.
Whenever I feel down I listen to Patricia’s version of this beautiful music. I don’t know how I missed it but it’s only today that I found out about her dying. My heart is broken. To pass away at age 25 has something evil in it. Breast cancer is such an insidious disease especially for one so beautiful and lovely and what about her voice. We are so fortunate to have seen and heard her. At least we have that to hang on to. God bless you all!

What a tremendous loss. Very sad to hear that she passed away. Hard to put it into words, but ever since I heard her I've never been able to enjoy the things I used to as much. Something just clicked and shifted. She truly opened doors to things that were so much more powerful and beautiful. It's like... how do you go back to your old ways after catching a glimpse of heaven? Don't really know how to describe it, but she really moved me. Sad to hear she's gone, but we were all blessed while she was here.

What a tremendous loss. Very sad to hear that she passed away. Hard to put it into words, but ever since I heard her I've never been able to enjoy the things I used to as much. Something just clicked and shifted. She truly opened doors to things that were so much more powerful and beautiful. It's like... how do you go back to your old ways after catching a glimpse of heaven? Don't really know how to describe it, but she really moved me. Sad to hear she's gone, but we were all blessed while she was here.

I have heard Patricia sing the theme from Once Upon a Time in the West, for the first time. Music that moves me so much. She was a bird that stood out from everything else in the jungle; her voice soaring to the height of heaven. I cried. She died. Oh, cruel life; how can you take away such a songbird? To those who were close to Patricia, I give you all a hug and share your grief. 💔. From an 82 year old man.
I have never heard anyone sing that part as beautifully as Edda Dell'Orso. Now I finally have. Just a wonderful, wonderful performance. What a beautiful voice. Thank you for posting.
She sings it one octave above Edda as a true natural Soprano. Another great interpretation is by Dulce Pontes, most used by Ennio on stage.
