Colors has been one of my biggest issues and it still is, regardless if I'm doing a simple animation or choosing a tone for my scene. In my early years as an artist I was always leaning towards black and white only and color is my weakness. So thank you for this video and can't wait to see the next one ^^.

Great video!! Thanks for telling us about Adobe Color. We own Creative Cloud, but I didn't know about Adobe Color or about Adobe Capture. Definitely getting that app! My first thought of how to use it is to set up my shot for a scene, take a snap shot of it and use the app to help me in identifying the colors in my frame and decide how I want to play with those colors to enhance a scene. Great video!!

Im studying for my Cinematography final and thought I might brush up on my color wheel...only think is off the bat you have presented a color wheel for pigment ie painting and not for mixing light in film. For instance on a painters palette the primary colors are red blue yellow, but in cinema the primary colors are red, blue, & green. As a painter now working in digital color correction I am trying to do a bit of translating between these worlds myself, hence trying to learn from youtube.

This was great thank you. I love color. When I travel it is what jumps out at me most about the new surroundings. One of my favorite books that has all kinds of interesting history about color is: Color: A Natural History of the Palette by Victoria Finlay
