I am so, so sorry for Russ. The emotional torture he must have endured makes me tearful just thinking about it. He finds his wife brutally murdered, is then framed for it, and then is taken away from his daughters during the most traumatic time of their lives. This poor man, I hope he gets the peace he needs.
Edit: I looked it up and apparently he doesn't have contact with the daughters bc he was cheating on their mum whilst she was dying so the daughters won't talk to him. Additionally, he hasn't reached out bc he feels betrayed by their testimony at trial.
    Overall just awful situation.

This is one of those cases that makes it terrifying to rely on a jury of your peers. Not ONE single juror should have voted to convict. There’s so much doubt in this case that you have to be blind not to see it all. Absolutely ridiculous!

How many more people have these jurors convicted that were innocent? It's kind of like the Casey Anthony case and making someone who's so clearly guilty go free because of not wanting to give her the death penalty? Like its ridiculous. Hi Bella! I’d love to see you cover the disappearance of Joanie Hall. She went missing under suspicious circumstances in 1983 from Warrenton, OR (population of 2500 in 1980) and virtually nothing is known about the case. The county sheriff at the time participated in interviews of his own son, and in 2018 the investigative files were silently sealed from the public eye until 2093. However it was JUST announced 4 days ago that due to a petition, the protective order on the files has been lifted! 😱 Her disappearance has even been dubbed “Clatsop County’s dirty little secret”

Cases like these make me think how scary the police/justice system for each country is. I cannot fathom the horror of Russ being convicted of his wife’s murder without any proper evidence to prove him guilty. It frustrates me knowing that people like Pam can actually get away with something like this. Also, felt really bad and sorry for Louis - he did not see it coming and he wasn’t supposed to be in that situation but Pam was just pure evil to let someone innocent played in her monstrous act.
At the end, I hope that Betsy and Louis and their families got the justice they all deserves. May their souls rest in peace 🙏

I bet Pam was on the way to becoming a serial killer. If she had killed her own mother and was willing to kill a woman for $150k (no amount should mean murder is okay but to kill for that amount is insane to me), I don’t think she would’ve stopped killing after Betsy.

Please cover Rebecca Zahau! I just found out about her now, she was found bound gagged and naked hanging from the balcony of her boyfriends beach home, death ruled as suicide but realllyyyy doesn’t appear to be. Very suspicious circumstances
Love your videos !!! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and new year in your new home ❤

Honestly - these cases make me afraid of the North American legal systems. It is genuinely really illogical a lot of the times

I grew up in this town. It was handled HORRIBLY by the police and they had no idea how to go about a murder investigation because nothing ever happened here

Pam targeted the guy because of his disability. She probably could see he had a physical disability making it easier for her to act out her plan.

Such a sad story. : ( Also, I am a licensed insurance agent and it blows my mind how much insurance, knowledge of law, etc. has changed since this. Suicides nullify insurance contracts and you get trusts through lawyers- a friend doesn’t just open it for you.

That’s such unhinged in the worst way possible. How dump of a person must you be to think you get away with it?
