Prestige modifiers:
1. Need additional 4 Reputation Points to win.
2. 10 Blightrot appear every third Clearance.
3. Blueprints rerolls cost more.
4. Villagers with low resolve leave faster.
5. Buildings require 50% more materials.
6. Villagers consume more food.
7. Villagers consume more luxury goods.
8. Villagers work slower on events.
9. All goods are worth 50% less to traders.
10. Blightrot is stronger.
11. Orders are harder.
12. Fewer blueprints to choose from.
13. Fewer cornerstone choices.
14. Impatience falls less on gaining Reputation.
15. The storm is twice as long.
16. One fewer blueprint to begin with.
17. Stronger hunger penalty.
18. Sacrifices in the Hearth cost more.
19. Fee for each discovered glade.

1:46 missing out on a timed order for resolve is a huge mistake. For foxes/lizards just build rain collector/blight post for comfort, for other species coats or complex food. Add to that favoring and hearth lvl 1. Youneed to hold the high resolve only for 30 seconds.
I am new to the game. And did not understand most of the mechanics... This is the first time I see resolve for 30+...

you can force them on break by taking them out of whatever building it was they were assigned to (or deleting whatever they were building if they had already decided to build) edit to add: There is a new button for if you get two not-so-great cornerstones where you just take 10 amber instead.
I hope you consider putting out more content, as a big AtS fan I thought your commentary was great, and I'd be curious to see your thoughts on further developments!
This was the first time I'd seen anyone play Prestige 20, and I'm glad it was this video. Seeing the penalties, I was scared to even attempt going up to Prestige 20; I thought it would require playing everything absolutely perfectly. Your run here really eased that anxiety, seeing that you can make mistakes (some that I yelled at the screen on, like selling all your Jerky or not taking Guild House) and still make it to the finish line. Thank you.

That protected trade + artifact start tho...its free real-estate. My "best" start was opening a glade with a fisherman elder, that gives +100 hostility per non fox villager lol instant level 16 threat.

Hey Beaviful, good to see you're still posting. I was wondering, for those who are looking to optimize efficiency in their settlements what's a good way to start? Wiki reading or what?
Hi! Yeah I think learning all the chains of production is super good, the wiki can definitely help with that. Other than that, I think playing lots of hours to establish good starting habits (harpy in hearth, early shelters, open a glade before choosing all blueprints, etc) helps create a foundation that leads to being able to optimize better.

Could you make a video explaining when and where to place second storage and hearth? I noticed u placed them even if the second hub is just one glave away.
Thanks for making this, really enjoyed it! I tend to face my farms towards the fields they are associated with. I see you faced your farms towards the hearth or warehouse instead. Do you think one way is better than the other? Does it even matter?
Oh yes definitely face toward the farm! I have a bad habit of sometimes facing farms between the resource and a warehouse building, I guess because "oh they can get to the main storage faster like that" lmao. It's definitely more important to face the farm as you want your farmers quickly collecting as much as possible into the farm storage. Thanks!

Surprised you didn't really consider the plantation especially when having food problems. Do you not favor it? I find it effective though I haven't played past prestige level 5.
How important is to make roads between the houses? I usualky have a cluster of houses around the heart

It was a bit too fast for me to follow at times. I play at Prestige 3 tho, and don't have all the upgrades yet, so maybe just lack of knowledge.
I love this game, it's really fun.

Is there a reason you don't collect your completion bonus from orders as soon as they are done? I've noticed another youtuber doing this but I still can't think of a reason why.
nvm, i watched the video all the way through, and having completed orders as "a shield against dying villagers" is a good reason
high impatience bring you resolve, so u want to leave it high (playing on the edge of loosing)
Or rather, high impatience decreases the forest hostility which in its turn increases resolve
