Thank you for your video. I'm learning how to use clear and dark waxes before I try my first piece. I haven't found a green paint that suits me alone, so I figure I'll try some dark antique wax for variations in shading. Your video was very helpful and I really like that you show your mistakes and how you correct them.
It was an ugly and boring piece and you made it cute and beautiful! I love the color and the style you chose! It suits the piece. Thanks so much for sharing
You did not mist the top before putting the lilly moon on. I made that mistake the first time and ending up sanding it all back and redoing it the correct way. it sets up so fast that a dry application does make it splotchy. I also keep a water mister on hand. There are so many of these nutmeg maple tables and cabinets out there it is nice to be able to update them. great color choices.
I don't get the clear wax or the dark wax. Why would you want a piece of furniture that looks dirty in the nooks and crannies? All the coats of this and more coats of that, topped with more coats of this and two more coats of that. I love watching the painting itself, but again, I'm not a fan of anything farmhouse.

Looks very charming actually, but I would have filled the little imperfections.
Also waxed inside drawers.
I'm from Australia could you please tell me about your sander 😊
Links to the products I used are in the description of this video for ya, but I don’t think this sander is available there. Sorry!
