She gotta ruby lips, she got shapely hips, yeah
Boy she makes ole Roy-oy flip
I got a woman mean as she can be
Some-a-times I think she's almost mean as me

Elvis said the best voice in r ock n roll was "Roy Orbison!" No other could touch him!
😃😊I’m very pleased to know I’m not the only one that loves the song, but when last did you play it.
The one who could touch him should be him self..🥰
I totally agree with you
où whether to reach your tones
roy is badass
James Burton solo here is pure perfection. I got chills.
Great song. Classic
I was wondering if that was James! What a guy
Yes. Just 'effin Hell. He is so great.
He had a gift.
Exactly, very different to that awful Marty McFly style solo from Farm Aid 1985, don´t know what that guy was thinking...
A 5ton earthmover couldn't remove the smile off my face right now... I'm in love...always have been since I first heard Roy when I was 10yrs old.
I'm now 70 and my adoration for Roy is as strong as ever !
This concert ranks right up there with the best live performances around.
certainly in the top 3 ever
@@Blackadder75 I'll agree with you on that. The best is always subjective but it's pretty damn good.
James burton is the Chuck Norris of guitar playing!
all bow & hail, James Burton ! King of Rock-a-Billy guitar.
Wow just spotted a close up of the 3 female back up singers near the end of the video at 2m35s and look who's there: Bonnie Raitt, Jennifer Warnes and K D Lang~!
And The Boss ffs.
@@brianfisher3991I didn’t even notice him! Damn!
You know you've made it when anyone on that stage is your backup 😂
Makes video if you watch them They are Jammin ✌️🇺🇸
Ron Tut was Elvis's drummer for many years and TBone on Acoustic was Dylan's guitar player in the 70s ...
And a fabulous music producer too
Love KD Lang air playing the bass Fiddle! Never seen that before. She is really cool 😎 for sure and I am sure she loves her memories with Roy Orbison and Bruce Springsteen and they with the GREAT KD Lang!!! Love these old
revisited entertainment from the “GOATS” of the music world of the mid 20th Century. How cool is that. My husband and I constantly are praising the Lord for allowing us to be born in this great time period. We played and hard, pretended hard, rode bicycles hard, ran and jumped rope hard. Our thumbs were limp though!!! No Smart phones that rob kids of just pure and simple play and imagination, physical play. Yes and we even got spanked on occasion when we really needed it. The parent had the right too do that, sometimes another mother might give a little brat in the neighborhood a much need swat on the behind in the absence of his own MaMa. The moms of the neighborhoods were close knit and watched out after all the children to make sure they played safe and were safe. Best regards, from a long life of experience and wisdom.
Absolutely one of the best performances ever 👏
Everyone on that stage with Roy is a legend, backing the greatest voice in modern American music. Even Elvis said so.
Aside from all the other great musicians on stage with Roy, that has got to be the most incredible trio of backup "girl singers" ever! Bonnie Raitt, Jennifer Warnes, and K. D. Lang. Just wow.
And after watching the entire video of that evening many times, this is the first time I have noticed that bit at about 1:25 when K. D. Lang simulates playing bass with her microphone stand!
The only complaint I have is we don’t get to hear Bonnie Raitt play slide guitar.
Went back and had a look..Hahaha so cool !
I love Bonnie seen her in concert. Great guitarist and love her vocals and very beautiful yes I'm a huge fan
Roy Orbison was a genre all of his own he was unique never has been equalled or ever will be.
It was a privilege to have grown up listening to his music while he was making it. Sadly today's generation will never get to hear artists make great music like this.
I am 29 and I still listen to him. He was and still my idol to this day
Yes they will because of UA-cam facebook and all
@@jamesgraywolf6419 Exactly!
I feel for the old folks who either didn't make it , or who refuse to appreciate music that came later. Don't feel bad for us, we get it all!
Well spoken
Modern generations don't know what real music is orbison rock on
So much for the belief many people have that Roy could only sing ballads!
Mr. Burton is the quitar playing master. Sit down Bruce
Every time I watch this show I am amazed at the incredible musicianship on display. And how much fun Springsteen is having.

And Roy baby!!!
PLEASE TAKE CARE OF ALL OF YOUR CHILDREN JESUS. BLESS US WITH YOUR GRACES, STRENGTHEN OUR KINDNESS, AND FAITH, ALSO LOVE, THE GREATEST OF ALL!! I LOVE YOU FATHER, SON, AND THE HOLY SPRIT. RIP ROY ORBISON
I don't even like mr Springsteen's songs in general but I have the utmost respect for him as an performer and musician. A true legend. One of the best live performers of all time
James burton is rightly called the master of Telecaster
Fantastic guitar solo by James Burton!
Yeah, not like that awfully insulting dudledee from the guy who played lead for Roy at Farm Aid 1985!
His guitar is beautiful!!!!
As ever. Incredible
The backing vocal triplet is legendary: K.D. Lang, Jennifer Warnes, and Bonnie Raitt... 😃
Roy and friends is a once in a generation performance at the top of their games
He was fantiastic, and he will NEVER be forgotten... we love you Roy!
The soul of rock & roll music!
Yes, James Burton played on a lot of Ricky Nelson's big hits in the late 50's and early 60's when Ozzie & Harriet was going on. Loved those songs at the end of each episode.
This live performance is incredible perfect.
What a wonderful voice.
His voice takes you to a special place.
Incredible.... Roy rocking out... he was the master
That's the legendary James Burton providing those tasty lead guitar licks........
Yes it is! I have always liked Roy, but I must say, between modern production quality, and Jimmy Burtons (Pink Paisley) Telecaster, it adds a "meaner" edge to the whole thing. Honestly, This is the only version of these songs I listen to when in the mood for Orbison.. 😊
Roy’s voice is divine, I love all his songs with his heavenly voice ♥️♥️🥰🥰👍
It's 4:00 am. Guess what? I'm listening to the greatest 😊 Roy Orbison with no doubt, the greatest!!
Awesome just like Roy and in the song by the rev horton, perfect
This was one show you would give some pretty valuable to be in the audience. Amazing band playing and just imagine what didn't get on to the tapes.
My favourite of all his songs...love it!!!!!
James Burton kills it on guitar.
Big Jim steps up for one more great solo!
If anyone ever asks you the definition of Rock and Roll, play them this performance! Amazing musicians on this stage…. A special moment in time. 💕❤️
What a beautiful song and Roy Orbison was a legend of music 🎵
A must see special! Still love it
Nothing short of awesome..
Those were the days...
When music was simple but everlasting...
W O N D E R F U L L
He was the best, how he hits those high notes, just love ❤❤him
Love him, an Angels voice
I have this DVD Album and can’t get enough of playing it. This song in particular stands out because of the girls harmonizing in background. All the songs on this album have outstanding sounds found in this live broadcast only. That’s the best thing about UA-cam, One off live shows can be watched by all who search them out.
haha, love this. It never gets old!
Priceless ~ A moment in History 🎵🎵
James Burton is all class.
Great sound:) Old School is the best.
Noticed a lot of different camera angles compared to my bluray of the show. Very cool
The late, great, master of music, Roy Orbison.
He was, to me, the greatest...
That's how it should be done. So pay attention youngsters.😀
agreed. but this song is 2 minutes longer than their tik-tok destroyed brains can handle in one dose.
Kids how's days haven't got a clue as too great music !!
Roy's country rock beat sounds very nice and James Burton guitar solos sound exciting!
Me 😅😅 next!

O Rock dos "velhos" é outra história! Inegualável!
Best lead guitar and drummer in the world
Excelente rock and roll...!!!
Am blushing 😊 💕💕
Great song ! Love Roy, ❤️
What a voice and the vibe going on here!
The 1st. song, by Roy Orbison, was, "Oh, Pretty Woman."
I heard it, sang it, as we, (my younger and I) were busy on the Texas cotton fields, 1959.
2021 now.
James Burton ❤️ Bruce Springsteen ❤️et Roy Orbison ❤️ j’adore j’adore 🥰👍❤️❤️
Again, James Burton is a great guitar man !!
Orbison's end is the most storybook end in all of Rock.
Being one of the original Rockers, then falling into obscurity.
A decade later, covers of his tunes brings him back into the spotlight.
Aided by fans that are now some of the biggest names in music, he gets back on top, and is there for a few years when he makes his final exit.
Just noticed Elvis’s Glen Hardin on piano, love it
Get well James! xx
Поет спокойно без надрыва,но такой взрыв эмоций! Самый сексуальный голос ,боже как жаль ,что время так быстротечно,но мы помним и будем наслаждаться всегда этим голосом!
Merry Christmas 2020 for all :)
BRAVO...Roy Orbison, The Boss and James Burton :)
I had this on DVD, and I can surely say, that it's been remixed!
Legendary KD Lang on backup vocals and stand up "air bass"
The greatest band ever comprised.
Geezus, talk about back-up singers...Bonnie Raitt, Jennifer Warnes and kd lang. If there has to be an "all-star" band
then this is the one I want to hear.
I read that Roy sponsored many of these younger artists, including Jennifer Warnes and KD Lang.
Truly a good Christian!

Wow, JB just smokes on this!
Arrangement incredible. Saw Roy years ago for a one nighter in Milwaukee. Worked hard to please his audience. He died later that year. We ago saw an aging Chuck Berry with a pick up group in a one nighter. No warmth, no charm, not one word to audience--- just picking up a paycheck. But still as kid in high school Chuck was the best ever and still is.
Sublime Merci Pour cette Magnifique Chanson ..
Supère la Famille Gros Bisous ..
@@JacquelineGraindorgegraingorge Supère Merci Bonne Journée a tous..Bisous
Ho ascoltato tutte le registrazioni di questa canzone e QUESTA È LA MIGLIORE...... CHE SOUND !!!

American music royalty as the backing band, Roy was genuinely surprised that he was held in such high esteem by the industry.
