Can I say that I received a teleprompter back in December (4 months ago) and I could not mount my teleprompter until I saw your video. OMG thank you for taking each step to show us how to mount it.
I've been using this teleprompter and software for months. And today I learned about the "Narrow/Narrower" setting. I'm feel like such dummkopf. As always, thanks man. Excellent share!!!
Hi John, may I ask you how do you use the voice track? It worked for you at first? I'm trying to get some recommendations on how to make it work, I already tried the pro version on my smartphone and iPad but the text doesn't move as I read. thanks in advance.
Awesome tutorial. Regarding seeing myself while recording, I look at is this way: When we talk to someone, we can't see ourselves anyway. We are what we are when we talk to someone. How we look, how we move; gestures or no gestures, etc.... we never see all that in normal face-to-face conversation. So while recording, I believe by not seeing myself I tend to be more natural because it *is* natural to talk like that.
Great content Anthony. I am in the 14-day filmmaker and the cell phone version. Enjoying it all. Great courses. I have a UA-cam channel I am working on growing and this is helping me to get better and better. Thanks again for all you do!
Hi there! Would this still be your top suggestion? I'm a little torn between this (with 10.2" iPad) vs elgato prompter for talking head language education content. Many thanks.
Hey Anthony, I just bought one of these based on your video. Easy! Just to let you know, Glide Gear now includes the smart phone attachment right in the box. Sweet!
thanks for letting me know that. I just bought the Glide Gear and am trying to figure all of this out! I recorded VSLs and some modules last week and was so disappointed. I knew I had to get a teleprompter
Like it. My concern is that the text would be very small if you put cell vertically. The screen of teleprompter is quite big though. What do you think? Thanks
Great tutorial, Paul, Thank you, I have experienced that presenting videos using Powerpoint slides as a teleprompter software is inevitable. You look like a Pro in front of camera because you always have the whole concept in mind so you maintain eye contact and deliver your speech naturally & confidently in front of camera and you don't follow word-for-word.
Fantastic tutorial, just what I needed and answered all my questions! I just bought the same teleprompter, excited to set it up and record with my phone
Hey Anthony! Thanks for this. I have the exact teleprompter and use a Canon EOS M50 Mark II. However, I found that the camera was too low in the teleprompter, so in my videos, I was looking above the camera. I tried adjusting the guide position in the setting, but that didn't help. Finally, I had to put a small book under the camera to align my eyes with the lens, but then the camera was not screwed to the teleprompter, which was not safe. Could you suggest a hack to get around this problem?
Hi Anthony, I am recording with a galaxy s24 ultra and looking into purchasing a teleprompter that will hold a phone to record video. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you in advance!
you can use PPT Mirror tool to mirror-flip your slides and display them in TTL (through the lens) in teleprompter its more way professional and a great option to assist you in delivering professional narration, because you don't have to read word for word as you always have you whole concept in front of camera.
Thank you for the video, Paul. Using a teleprompter has a huge benefit, I experienced the advantage of using a Teleprompter and PPT Mirror software: I speak more freely and, of course, ‘‘get my messages across’’ in self -produced videos.I display my PowerPoint in reverse or flip it and put my tablet in the teleprompter and get started, simple, and easy to use. Which leads my videos to more naturalness. Hope this helps
Hi, how long would the deal on 14 day film making and additional ‘Earn the deal’ be available? Right now I’m too busy to check it out. Would like to have some time. Thanks
Amazing video, thanks a lot for it!! Do you have some considerations on which mic to use when using a teleprompter? Would work well to use Saramonic SR-XM1 or the teleprompter ended up covering the mic? :)
Hi Anthony, Thank you for the tutorial, What do you think about presenting Powerpoint presentation as videos using PPT Mirror app & Teleprompter using any device on any browser? to help you being natural on camera and maintain eye contact because you always have whole concept in mind.
Do you have a new teleprompter app you recommend? The one from this video you recommended has gotten extremely bad and unreliable. Great content as always brother 💯
A lot of great content! I did find it odd that you said you can attach the bottom prompter plate to the tripod head using any hole you want. Yeah, I guess you could but that might result in a very unbalanced head like you have in your session. The whole purpose of options on the plate is to get a rough balance between the prompter mirror and your camera. That point is not vital but certainly good accepted practice.
Learned a lot from your UA-cam Channel, Finally was able to enroll to your 14day Course(Great Course as expected!!) , would love to enroll to your course creator course, but even with the special student discount is kinda expensive for me, Thanks again for the great video
SO helpful thank you!! On the chance you see this comment - can you give me your latest recommendation on telepromoter and two stands? One stand for floor and one stand for desk, like ones you had? Will use your links if you have them? Conscious this video over a year old now
Anthony! You are amazing. Your videos are so inspiring and informative. You have given me the tools, advice, and confidence (mostly!) that I need to get going on the training videos I've been needing to make for my business. Thank you, sincerely! ~Holly

Love the video ! I recently bought the 14 day film training course ! I was wondering, if i use and external microphone to record that is plug into my Iphone, will the app still recognize my voice ?
Hello and thank you for the video. I was wondering If is worth it to pay the app just for the scrolling text pr there is something better in the market. I’m speaking Italian and by checking it is not available as recognized language. Thanks a lot 😊
I use mine with an ipad, much better than a phone. It’s tough to use outdoors because the screen is hard to see. I also always use my phone to preview the view and start and stop my a6500. Larry
Hi Paul, Great review thanks, do you think if I make a presentation using Powerpoint as a teleprompter software, would be better than using apps that forces me to read word-for-word?.
Depends on what style you want to convey to your viewers. As we said in this training, we don't actually read the teleprompter word for word but use it as a guide so we don't go on tangents. But I started 5 years ago only using powerpoints

This huge prompter is designed for iPad. That gives you large text so you can place the camera much further back, making your eye movement unnoticed.

Question question - Will this Telepromter work well on wider lenses, such as the Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens???
Depends if you're using a crop sensor. We've found 24mm to be about as wide as we can go on a full frame sensor
