It's been tough living on the road full time, but I'm making it work. I really think it's all a mindset game when nomad living. You really gotta have a strong mental attitude, because things will go wrong, and you gotta just keep moving forward with what you got.

They provided me with podcasts, videos, and meditation practices in order to keep my mental health in check! I highly suggest you use them if you are dealing with something. At first, I didn’t think I needed it, but at age 29 approaching 30, I kinda wanted to try it out, and so far it has been really beneficial.

Hi, I’m Nico Murillo, and I recently got laid off from Tesla on 4/15/2024. I was a Production Supervisor, and was with the company for 5 years. I started in 2019, as an entry level Production Associate. After getting laid off, had to make the decision to sell the house. I decided to sell most of my belongings and move into my 2021 Tesla Model Y. When I worked at Tesla, I slept in my car on work days to avoid my 3 hour round trip commute time from Lathrop, Ca to Fremont, Ca. I created a platform in my trunk with the use of Michaels, Home Depot products, and a soft mattress, where I now call my home. Living in my car enables me to save money, and invest it. I am documenting my journey to financial independence by 2029. My hope is that by sharing my own personal highs and lows along this (sometimes) wild journey, you might be inspired to look into financial independence. Maybe one day i'll see you at GNC in Stoneridge Mall Pleasanton, Ca. I currently work there now as a supplements store manager. I am off Sundays and Wednesdays though.
