Saw them in Miami back in the early mid 90s at a little club called Groove Jet. I was hooked on GLG the first time I heard Desire being played by my friend from Abu Dhabi who was attending University of Miami - - - all it took was the first 30 seconds. I'm 54 now and I still can't get enough.
Saw em twice met em twice! Micheal had left! Bummer. Great times in the 80’s!!!! They were fantastic played at The Bayou & great old 9:30 club. Both ain’t around anymore! Great times then. This is fantastic! Hope he comes to Washington DC again!.... 👍❤️🔥🇺🇸🙏🌹🧨🎶🤩
One of the most underrated bands of that error. But not by me. I loved them. They had an after party for the release of Josephina at my club in NY got to meet them. Great band and unique sound
I finally figured out what that solo was from. It has been bugging since I heard it at the show. Its the guitar solo from Lionel Richie’s “Hello”. Nice how you worked it into the song James.
I have to agree unfortunately. The song was played but it lacked the true excitement. Plus the tempo was a little dragging as well which didn't help. 😮
@@bartseller8601I promise it was even worse when I saw this in Richmond. Most of the band wasn’t there and Jay was doing the goofiest dances on stage and overly nasally vocals.
Jay You'll never lose that beautiful smile!! Thanks guys for you magnificent artistry🎼🎸

Last time I saw GLJ was when the brothers toured last. They were amazing. Good to see James Stevenson back out there.
Micheal had left when they played here twice! Was great
James never left.
Love GLJ! Thanks so much for uploading this. These guys are still on fire after all these years.
Thanks for posting. What a great day of music!

James Stevenson is one of the best guitarists around! Pete plays a beautiful bass. “Buggs” Bruises is my all time favorite remix.
❤what happen to red hair Jay
James, played with the CULT 👍🏻
They’re both great separate, but I wish for the brothers to reconcile
Is that really Linda Lovelace?😉
Walter White on bass
🥱💤🥱
Kinda sad that neither Jay nor Michael can do much of anything without insulting each other. Move on, guys. Less bitching, more playing.
The 2020’s are not the 1980’s! This was cringy!
I ugh🤮🤬👎😩💀
Hey you. No one cares.
