Old age actually suits these guys. It makes them seem more vampiric and cadaverous, which really enhances the aesthetic!
I can only hope to be called vampiric and cadaverous in my old age.

EXACTLY!!!
At least Pete Murphy’s given up on the creepy uncle look he seemed to perfect a couple of years ago!
@@thelwulfeoforlic6482 ha - I liked when he looked like a bad guy in a hammer film
Saw bauhaus twice in one week at the Lyceum London in 1982. I was 19. (I'm 57 now!) Wrote to Peter shortly afterwards and he replied with full letter, photos etc. Nice guy who made the effort
Awesome.
Aye, I was also lucky to see Bauhaus live. You never forget them.
That’s sooo cool 😎 man. Thank you 🙏 for sharing
Really cool
I can imagine how enthusiastic your letter was... they were a force of nature.
Peter Murphy is lucky in that he's got that kind of baritone voice that actually improves with age up to a point. If he takes care of himself he could do this for another decade. Best band ever!
His voice resonates.
just listen
This is a sonic masterpiece. This will be played 300 years from now.
if we are still around
I just fucking love Peter Murphy. He still sounds so damned epic. The man was born a rock star.
He is and always will be
Stop using the word epic. Don’t use “amazing” either. Even Peter would be annoyed.
@@gmar7836Stop saying “stop using”.
@@gmar7836 who's this bitter nerd
I remember, as a teenager, my cousin gave me a Bauhaus t-shirt which i wore with absolute pride.. for a month.. before actually hearing the band!! Became a permanent fan from then on!! Understand, i was poor.. so my only exposure was nicking music off alternative radio stations... which didnt exist in S.Africa in the late 80s
Did you get to hear the Kalahari Surfers back then?
They were the main reason I was there and seeing them was like having an out of body experience. I still think about their performance!!!
I first seen them perform this more than 40 years ago.....still as good
For me, Nottingham...in a cellar. Maybe 1978?
I was there this night. This with the full moon in the sky it made this whole performance seem unreal. Was truly amazing.
Last saw them in the early 2000's at the Wiltern. Glad they're still sounding so good. Sad I missed this, but no longer live in L.A. I did hear all of the Elder Goths were there to represent! Awesome!
I was at those shows. Fantastic.
I was there, right in the middle of the front section behind the vip cage. It was one of the best performances I’ve ever seen and that moment was electric. My phone died during She’s In Parties so I’m thrilled there are other good videos of this.
I remember first hearing this and falling in love with Peter's voice...I'm in love all over again
Wow music and voice still incredible!!! Goosebumps
I thought Rob Halford was guest appearing for a second.
Omg I’m the “awoooo” at 0:49 💀 sorry y’all I couldn’t help it
Its "All Good",babygirl...it's Bauhaus for music sake. 🎶💚💥
I was there. Never a Bauhaus fan but this was so amazing to be there and see and hear it live.
I was there. Absolute epic I MEAN EPIC performance!!!!!!! If you were not there, you totally missed out!!!! The opening scene is burned into my memory
That’s a beautiful experience. Treasure it. 😊
I love Peter Murphy!! Omg! Thank you for this!! 80's is calling me back!!
Sounds absolutely incredible..perfect 🖤
I can almost hear Murphy explaining to his doctor; well, Doc, I disappear from the stage toward the end of "In The Flat Field," to prepare for the intro to "Bela…", you know I have to hang inverted for about 11 minutes.
Doc: wait! What?! Why?
Murphy: "Dude, vampire's gotta vamp."
Doc: "sure, but what is that doing to your brain with your heart pumping all that blood uphill to your feet and all?"
Murphy: "You're talking as if I'm 190 years old, Doc, I'm still a young man, just turned 127 in October."
Doc just stares at Murphy as he rises from the exam table, buttoning his vest. "Okay then…"
Wow!! Peter sounds amazing!! I love the new look!! Thanks for sharing!!! 🖤😻🖤🦇🖤
Peter sounds amazing 🤩
Dub reggae version of Gary Glitter RnR Pt2.
These guys were together 6 WEEKS. Went into the studio in Jan 1979.
This is what came out.
My favorite Halloween song 😍
When he says “The Count!” and then strikes that bat like pose with that face that’s like peak performance. He is into it and it’s great.
This is what civilization is FOR.
Bravo! It’s good to see the boys are back!
That base sends the shivers
Much better then I was expecting! Thanks for posting.
This is the best song I've ever beard!
They sound so well because its all the original members from the original recordings.
he may not move the same but that voice is better than ever !
It's his Pop-hip.
man....this guy is so dam good!!
Gothic to the MAX, Peter went through a metamorphosis on stage.
this is awesome ,this is epic, this is Bauhaus, thanks for posting this.
What a good song, live. Thanks, Bauhause.
One night in 1981, I pulled up outside my aunt and uncle's house in Belfast in my battered old car, which was costing every penny of my student grant to run. John Peel's show was on the radio, and as I prepared to switch off the ignition, he put on "Nerves" from "In the Flat Field". I didn't move until the last note of that song faded away. Transfixed. Some band.
Bauhaus in my old home town would have been a great time! Too bad i was broke!
the way i would do anything to see this live omg. they sound awesome
Thanks for your video 🙏🎵🎼🎶❤️
Reminds me of seeing Andy and Mission at Fender's (LB) back in '84
Thank you for sharing this, saw (Peter Murphy) and crew in Winter 2019 before the lock downs in San Francisco
Easily my favorite bauhaus song. And performed just phenomenally. I had no idea this was even still a thing. Peter Murphy is such an incredible front man. Somebody else made the comment that age suits them well. Yes it does. Yes it does...
Memories xo
I could have gotten the chance to see them since they came here in Greece recently and I regret it so much that I couldn't make it. It must have been a once in a lifetime experience. I need to stop looking at recent concert videos cause I keep getting more and more envious😭
Timelessness
Sounds so good. Damn
Greatest part. These guys can make new music and play live and be still so baaaaad ass 🔥🔥🔥
Amazing
even though I was in the back of the crowd, this performance was amazing.
I'm so jealous I'm glad you liked ittt
I was fortunate to have been there the 15th. 😃🖤
Their best version of this song was in the movie "The Hunger" the whole atmosphere in the club was epic
I always preferred the extended live, psychedelic version to the studio version used in the movie. Even more trippy!
This literally
gave me goosebumps,
used to be my favorite song to dance to at the clubs,
Also , how soon is now.
(smiths).
Sweet memories
La legend. The legend. That's all
🎶40+ years and still intriguing like vampires' wine 🍷💜🦇💜🍷
Wow sounds great!
Sweet!!! In 1989 I dropped'cid w/ Daniel Ash & David J at a Love & Rockets show in Connecticut club They were warming up before a Big Show with the Cure at a NJ stadium a few days later Great Memes ;)
Awesome
Sempre grandi....
I'm gonna see them on the 19th in Seattle. This sounds perfect
& Peter Murphy wow seen every Solo tour since final solution...He is ageless!!!
This was one of the tough decisions to make Saturday night. See the full performances of the Psychedelic Furs and Blondie or see Bauhaus. Same with Berlin vs. Devo.
Devo was soooooooo worth it
I went to Devo but kept “metro” in the back of my mind.
Inpresionante, la mejor banda dark de todos los tiempos.
..pretty frickin' awesome shit!...Peter Murphy a legend.
they sound great
I better get tix here in Philly I've been a fan of these guys for a long time⚡🤖⚡
Peter Murphy 💕
Pięknie Pan Peter Murphy w formie.
The only goth record l possess and ever will. I am more usually hanging out in the Aretha Franklin aisle. Love it.
Fukin amazing
Guitar looping fucking good !!!
True goth! 🖤
This is performance guys!
Happy belated birthday to Pete Murphy for yesterday xx
I'mm really really confused..I read an obituary celebrating Pete Murphy's life & amazing career last autumn.and was really sad..Bauhaus remind me of my first flat ,first boyfriend in 1984 & Planet X in Liverpool ( considered best Goth club in 1980' s-90' s UK) great night's out in the 80' s ..I've seen RIP'several times in comments on.UA-cam...then today spotted a new interview with Pete today...I do hope & pray he's still part of thriving undead..so is he still with us????🤔x
Had no idea about this wuuuuut
Classic
They still sound great. Murphy's voice hasn't aged... maybe he is from "beyond the grave"...
impressive
He hasn't lost his magic.
☁️🖤☁️
Malkovich Peter Murphy is the coolest thing of 2022
Still cool as fuck!
In the music dictionary, beside the word frontman is: Peter Murphy
That’s bleedn unworldly. Wish I was there
anybody knows what kind of delay are they using here? is it analogue or VST?
thank you so much, would have liked to see them, but when I could, there in the states, Ilive south France, What about the two last '22 months? as you've been with me for the last 40 years (since I was 15'.?
Vuelve a Chile Peeteeer!!! Te extrañamos!!!🖤🦇🥀
Version sepultura is perfect
I have to give them credit, still surprisingly good. 😀
But is the drummer still the same?
Cool =D
The Hunger!
This set was iconic, under a blood red moon? It doesn’t get anymore goth
bauhaus tourne encore? très bonne nouvelle.un de mes regrets est de ne les avoir jamais vu en concert.une tournée en france? j éspère vraiment
Bela Lugosi is Vampir,he's not and never be dead,he was and will live forever and ever & ever, till the end of the time, till the end of the world and much-longer then that...Optimus Maximus Serbicus- Slavs will live forever, because it's in they blad and in the dna...eternity is in the smallest cells, molecules and atoms ! ! !
Bella Lugois dead...ClaSSick!!
Well, this is as distant as possible from what I was imagining Peter Murphy looks like today.
I feel so damn old now.
Pete's starting to morph into Nosteroftu.
I saw them live with Nine Inch Nails about 20 years ago, they don't look like they have Aged At All. Just Sayin'...
