LOL Matt! You crack me up with the embroidery/man card talk! Card or no card - go for it! I totally understand and appreciate your honesty about being intimidated initially. I felt the same way when I got my first laser a year ago. New adventures are always exciting/scary! I have say, watching you with your new machine has got me thinking about doing that too. Just know I appreciate videos like these.
Hello! I'm aware of creating images with AI but not one that can help with digitizing it. Which AI program are you referring to that can also digitize the image you create?
I’m excited for more videos of this. I was looking into this about 8 months ago but decided against it since I needed to focus on learning how to run my laser and light burn. Boy my wife is gonna be upset with you when I buy this, because Matt told me to. I’m gonna try and talk my 20 year old daughter into doing it hopefully so she can start her own business.
Welcome to the embroidery world!! Hahah … I wish I could get a multi needle machine! I have two flatbed single needles and I love them… you will have fun once you get it going!
Looking forward to watching you delve into embroidery. Over the winter I plan on learning embroidery myself. I bought a machine back in the Spring and am about to dive head first into it. Also have been thinking about getting a laser so I too can add leather patches for caps. Already have a lot of people telling me they plan on buying. Now all I have to do is learn how to operate the dang thing. LOL
@@laserengravingwithmatt I was impressed with your take on their customer service. That’s my big thing as well. We do laser engraving and woodworking but the embroidery has always intimidated me. I guess there’s no time like present to take the leap!
Thanks so much for doing these videos, they truly are an inspiring me to get my business off the ground. When you say "make $100k" are you talking revenue or profit. I'm finding that this is quite possible with my lasers, and have been thinking about including embroidery, but I don't know what realistic numbers are for it.
Definitely profit. It has been insane how just by the word of the month had done for us. But with that being said I have a good amount of customers to start with.
That machine is only 6 grand? I just paid that much for my Stellaire XE with the up grade. My first month using it I broke about 10-12 needles. I need to get some software and figure that out.
Can you use mighty hoops with that machine? I have a Ricoma EM1010, a Janome MB4, 4 needle and a Husqvarna Epic single needle. I use mighty hoops for both of my multi needles. I am thinking about adding another multi needle but it must have a laser and able to use mighty hoops. My hands are not what they use to be so hooping with regular hoops is out! Love your videos and wish you all the success!!
Hey Matt, love the videos and you have helped me so much with laser engraving. Just pulled the trigger on 1501 and wanted to know, do you have the mag hoops they sell on their website? Thanks Joey
Hi Matt, I have a question. Do you know if there is a way to skip ahead in the pattern. Sometimes I really don't want a certain line or color etc. and would like to just omit it by skipping over it.
do all embroidery files i buy from etsy need to be digitized ? or how do we know when they need to be digitized ? juat got my machine im excite dto get started i would be lying if i said i wasnt scared or intimidated
@@laserengravingwithmatt We use Embrilliance but some people swear by Hatch software. I would advise you not to worry too much about learning to digitize right now, You really need to get some experience doing embroidery before you start digitizing. What I would advise is to find yourself a person or company that offers digitizing as a service and build up a good relationship with them. We have a person in India that does excellent work (& fast!) We charge a one time setup fee to cover our costs of producing designs for customers, that covers our costs to have the artwork digitized and a test run. Always test run your designs before putting it on a garment or you will cry, trust me. A good digitizer will fix any problems with their designs.
It has been Awesome. I have never run anything like this before. It has been great. They got me going right away and any questions they answer right away.
You can buy hatch, but it’s $1000 one time fee. I pay someone to do all my digitizing for me. There is some free digitizing software out there. You do not have to pay for customer support and the description will take you to the site and show you how much it cost.
I might look into getting one into Canada... 😀 What is the footprint of this machine? I can't get the link to work but I'll do it from my PC tomorrow to see if I can use it to ship here.
For some reason, I can not see the comments I made from my end. My apologies for asking the same question multiple times, It's just not showing up on my screen.
Well that’s a loaded question. I don’t know what kind of business you have but if you have customers already I would say it would because it helped me.
I understand, thanks. I run a small business that is on the rise, do you think purchasing this embroidery machine will be the right choice? @@laserengravingwithmatt

Hi Matt, the digitizer on your comment is that the one that works, I seen a post of you saying the 1st didn’t workout.
The one in the description is the one I use for everything

There are loads of new AI art programs that not only can create an image from your description but can also digitize existing images

Yes absolutely. You should get a Towa digital tension gauge
Awesome video, Can't wait to see more, been considering one as well
Thanks 😃
My wife's machine is coming in Monday!
Congrats 🎉 you will love it and the support is awesome.
Wonder if you can hook your own digitizing program up to it? Or is it more cost effective to farm that out?
You can but they are expensive

I know this is an old video but, do you have to purchase embroidery software with the machine?
That is up to you. I bought hatch, but I only use it for names and I send out all my logos and designs to a digitizer.
@@laserengravingwithmatt Thank you for the feedback.
Cane you make more video about embroidery machine ?
Yup I plan on recording everything
Do you use the work table much? I just bought a 1201 & I don’t see a reason why I need to use it much 9/11/24 9:43 am
No I have not yet.
We've been doing embroidery for about 3 years now. Our core is work wear and bath towels.
I bet you end up doing HTV before the end of the year.

The stand is 22” x 24”. I checked the link it works on my end. 😃
@laserengravingwithmatt7833 Wow ok - it looks so much bigger. Thanks man!!!!
Providing for your family is your man card.
😃
How long dose it typically take for the machine to finish embroidering something? Does it work fast?
That all depends on what you are making and how big it is. A average hat is 5 minutes
