Hi Sam I purchased s1001 from Smartstitch and I received it Thursday, December 12, 2024, I purchased it after I watched your videos and several others. I'm disappointed in the customer service because I have a complaint about the condition of the machine. It appears to be one of the machines that may have been returned. The crate came unwrapped, there was only one hoop which was not wrapped. When I took a good look at the machine there were smudges on the hoop bar and the wheels showed wear along with scuff marks on the table stand legs where the wheels had been connected. I contacted Smartstitch by email but I was told to contact a lady named Flora. When she did messaged me she said that she would set me up with a team, which she did. The head of the team stated that this is not a used machine and the hoops were probably missed at the factory. Well, that doesn't sound right, how can a machine crate leave the factory unwrapped with three hoops missing. I know that I rambling but I want your opinion as to what you would do in this situation. Sincerely Peggy
I’m from China, never ever heard or seen the brand Smart Stitch on our social media. I bought my 12 needle Ricoma directly from Ricoma factory, cost me about 3800 usd, don’t know if they can ship overseas.
Timing Issue? Glad you got it fixed. I don't clip my hats anymore because if I have a big design the hat is too tight and when it's embroidering the hat would get pulled.
Nowadays customer satisfaction is paramount. Pride in your shop practices & work ethics is evident. The guidelines from taking a standard cap to a finished Samcraft Hat tells it all. Thank you for sharing.
I am also interested in your response to this question…..I have been doing some research on different machines, would love to hear your opinion. Thanks in advance.
I have been learning how to digitize and do all of my own designs and creations. Complex customer logos that are beyond my skill set are outsourced, but I don't want to give any sources. Not because I covet them, but because I'm not thrilled with them. :-\
What was interesting was the company stood behind the help that is promised to you as their customer. So many scams and headaches. Glad they treated you right. The cap looks perfect.
Hi Sam! When buying the Hoop Master, Smart Stitch does not appear on the list. Which one should I select for the 15 needle Smart Stitch Machine? Thanks
I'm contemplating this machine. I'm a long-time Janome user and this is certainly out of my comfort zone. But, I need a larger hooping size than what Janome offers. I'm watching your videos and so far, you have done well at putting my fears about spending this much money for an international vendor product. Lack of Customer Service is such the norm now - to hear that it actually exists is amazing. Going to watch some more and maybe I'll know what my decision will be. BTW, I did go to the SmartStitch website from the link in your video.
Thank you for your videos, I really appreciate your honest reviews and how open you are to teaching the tools of the trade. Something I am constantly confused by is copyright; do you think you would have issue with the star wars reference? What would be the worst thing that could happen? I understand you aren't a copyright lawyer and I wouldn't hold what you say accountable, just curious on your thoughts of it or any teaching resources you had on it. Maybe a good video idea? Thanks for all you do, good luck with your new craft!
This might be a odd reply by the end of the vid you spoke about how you liked the contrast between black and red if it come to colors there are like 128 shades or more for every color When I was young man I use do lot of graffiti at 1 point I found this contrast between a shade of purple and yellow or dark blue and silver that I used for almost 3 year on all my graffiti Was like 25 years ago so don't ask me the RAL numbers point is no matter how great the design if 1 does not use the right color contrast it is not going to really POP
Sam, do you have a price on embroidering someone else's logo? I could provide the logo. Thought I might buy a SC hat and have you make me one as well. Thanks! Now, to comment on your previous video. Rick
I have a chinese machine Bai brand and these are wonderful people Also have Rainbow the tecs are better and quicker to reapond then they are here in North America. Wonderful service. The time difference isn't quite the best but its worth the sacrafice.
Thanks!
Have you done 3D/Puff on a cap yet? Also, does this machine have a laser for tracing?
Can you tell me how large of snitching can you do with this machine ? can you do a whole back of a hoodie with this machine ?
Great vid Any examples of you trying 3D embroidery on the caps with this machine?
I was checking out smartstich embroidery machine and came to youtube to get a detailed review. You did not disappoint Thank you.. 👍🏻

Sam why did you choose SmartStich over Ricoma or Tajima?

Who does your digitizing?

@@Samcraftcom thank you. I’m new to this and have been using Eagle digitizing. Not sure how I feel about them. 2 designs with them so far.
@@teresastevens1390I use Vitor Digitizing. Been using them for about 2 years. They have done about 100 logos.

Thank you for this reassurance. I order two days ago, how long did it take to ship to you?
Our machine is different than yours but, for us, its easier to put the stabilizer in the hat before we put the hat on the hat driver.

That font you used please share what it's called. I struggle getting the ones that stitch out so beautifully.
I digitized it myself, it's not a font but a cluster of closed shapes and run stitches.
Great video! Thank you for sharing.
Cap #003 looks great Sam. BTW, you tell great stories. All the Best!
What made you buy this particular machine?
Those colors do look good. It’s good to see you got the issues straightened out.
Sam, are you taking custom, single hat orders? I looked at your store and didn’t see a way to place an order.
O love watching the machine embroidery. ❤❤❤❤
More to come!
That machine is something else! I have a feeling you are going to get a LOT of orders after this! Awesome job! I’d love to have one of your hats!
I'm taking your advice and contacting customer service before I go further down the rabbit hole. Thank you!
I’m a commercial embroidery that’s great service
Awesome problem solving from cs, hat looks great.
Thanks Sam! Great job!
