When it comes to digitizing i had to learn it myself and do it. I started learning it even before the machine came!! I was ready...lol. But anyway Smartstitch is good so far.
Awesome I’m looking into that machine thanks to you 👍trying to get my GF into a different profession I do laser & sublimation &epoxy why not add this to it all lol. I also do full time construction job
It’s hard to find reviews on this machine except for people who are sponsored by the company. These machines are a big purchase. Would love to get reviews from actual, independent buyers.
What is a lot of view out there? I should know because I researched for eight months before I decided to work with them. I chose them. I hunted them down. I wanted to work with them because it is worth it. Customer service is worth it. They set up a Facebook account and walk you through everything. I have never done anything like this before and they helped me get going right away. If you watch any of my videos, you’ll know I don’t lie to you. I’m open and honest 100% every video.
A buddy of mine bought a single needle to learn on and he bought the software and learned to digitize himself. That's probably the best way to go if you can. That way you don't have to depend on a third party. Maybe find one to just send an occasional job to when you are real busy. Real time, how long did that demonstration hat take?
Hey Matt - Im having a hard time getting the machine to embroider closer to the brim. Its only getting about 1" above, which looks a little high to me. Do you have a trick or some advice?
I guess I should give little more information. We have been using them then 2017. If there is a problem, they fix it, with no problems, until it meets your expectations. We have been very pleased with them. My wife does embroidery, I do leather work, and laser engraving, and cutting out things to put together with the laser. My wife is a perfectionist when it comes to her embroidery. I was curious if you sew over the seem on the front of the hat, or just on the sides of the seam? Love your video's. @@laserengravingwithmatt
Curiou why you removed Zayn from digitizer in comments. I used him based on your review. Happy with 3 files, but if you have other recommendations, please post them.

I think you are right. Real time I think that one was 4 minutes
Hi, do you have a video about embroidering in the side of a hat? or can you make one? Thank you!
Not yet 😃👍😉
@@laserengravingwithmatt Smartstitch made a video on it. Which made me realize I need a pocket hoop.
Hey Matt - Im having a hard time getting the machine to embroider closer to the brim. Its only getting about 1" above, which looks a little high to me. Do you have a trick or some advice?
Yup I will try to get the video done this week 😃
Looks great Matt. .
What's the max width and height can the machine embroider using the cap driver?
I don’t know
Do you have to flip the design, since the hat is on backwards?
Nope, soon as you put on that frame, it does it for you
How do you make sure the pic will be in center of the cap
The same way you frame your design on flats
Is there away to embroider the image closer to the bill?
Working on that 😃
How long did it take you to pay it off?
For me first month but I had a list of clients
Hi Matt! Where do you buy your caps?
Sometimes from amazon and blank apparel. Whoever is cheaper
@laserengravingwithmatt7833 thank you!
S&sactivewear has a lot too
What model are you using and where do you get your Richardson 112 trucker hats from?
Link is in the description and blank apparel
Do you know what file type you have to use? PDF, SVG, jpeg, etc
DTS
Does this machine comes with the threat??? And needles?
Yup and the hoops
I have a link in the description
Thank you!
Does the machine cut all the jump stitches?
Only if you make it when digitizing
how do you get rid off the a thread that is left from the cutter
A lighter
@@laserengravingwithmatt even on the outside of the hat?
Yes but you shouldn’t have much on the outside. Make sure you do a tension test.
Try JJ Digitizing
Thanks
