    gorgeous ! I have a similar problem with a bit of a flat top head, I part on the side and flip over and then back again and really scrunch at the top with some volumiser at the root. i don't find the products are heavy and I get a much fuller top which I like. Depends what you like I guess, and of course what your hair wants. Your curls look amazing the next day !

      Thank you so much! That sounds like a great technique for volume - sorta similar to the one I do :) Definitely all depends on preference and what makes your hair happy!

      Thank you so much! I'm so glad you found it helpful and clear. For less curly hair, I would recommend using more lightweight products and taking larger sections of hair as you style :) best of luck!

    I thoroughly enjoyed watching your styling routine. I have a couple of questions if you don’t mind me asking. Would you describe your hair as fine or coarse, is it low density? What do you ask your stylist for when getting your haircut? Just trying to gauge if your methods would work for my fine-low density hair. Would definitely like to see how you diffuse. Thanks

    • @graceanneroche
      @graceanneroche  9 місяців тому

      I would say my hair is fine - the strands themselves are thin. I actually cut my own hair, but if you were going to a hairstylist I would tell them rounded layers with curtain bangs at the front. I just uploaded my diffusing tutorial, here is the link! ua-cam.com/video/z1WEItYm5AI/v-deo.htmlsi=QnR_4hKApucuauIV
      Thanks so much for your questions, good luck :)

    At last I found an excellent tutorial that I can follow! Thanks so much for your super clear explanation and demonstration. I have greasy hair and most products I’ve tried make my hair greasier, so I’m reluctant to use products. Can you please recommend products that help style the curls without making them look greasy? I like to wash my hair once a week, but if I add products they make my hair greasy, which forces me to wash every 3 days and I don’t want to do that as it’s unhealthy to wash hair often.

    • @graceanneroche
      @graceanneroche  11 місяців тому

      I'm so glad you found it helpful! The products that I recommended in the video (linked in the description) are all products that I find to be very non-greasy. If your hair tends to be more naturally oily, I would recommend just using less product. I might also suggest using a clarifying shampoo every now and then! Clarifying shampoos deeply cleanse the hair and remove buildup so that hopefully you won't have to wash it as often.

      @@graceanneroche thanks. Unfortunately I cannot get your products as they are not on Amazon (I’m in Europe not USA). I await your next video on how to dry curly hair with a diffuser. When I dry mine it creates the frizz, so hoping to learn some tricks from you 😍😍

      @@uriurg9857 Ohh okay I see. In that case I would just say look for a somewhat lightweight leave-in conditioner - nothing too thick/heavy. And yes I am working on that! I will have that posted soon :)

    What shower cap do you use on days your not washing your hair?

    • @graceanneroche
      @graceanneroche  10 місяців тому +2

      I have a really big one from Amazon that I put over my satin bonnet! I put it up the same way that I go to sleep with it and then put the shower cap over to protect the fabric from getting wet. Here is the video of how I put it up in the satin bonnet: ua-cam.com/video/Eg0wHSep7_k/v-deo.htmlsi=5BwWCSj1eBaq53KP

    Im transitioning from years of straightening back to curly. I usually give up because of the humidity I live in Houston where it’s really really humid. The only way I have found to stop my hair from falling is to hairspray it when I’m finished. but then how do I get three or four days out of my hair? I really want to stop putting that keratin and toxic crap in my hair. I tried this 10 years ago and went back to it, help thank you.

    • @graceanneroche
      @graceanneroche  4 місяці тому

      Hi there, for humidity gel is a game changer! The Advanced Heat and Humidity Gel from Ouidad is my personal favorite. You can put it in as you style your hair and then "scrunch out the crunch" once it's fully dry, as I show in my video. Good luck and hope this helps!

    • @graceanneroche
      @graceanneroche  11 місяців тому +1

      It's on the lower side, yes! I'd say generally curly hair tends to have lower porosity, especially for people who have never dyed or bleached their hair and use minimal heat on it like me.
